This study aims at investigating the correlation between such variables as a child's family circumstance and personality and that of the child's mathematical ability. For the objects of the study five hundreds and sixteen students (male 273, female 243) were andomly selected from the fifth grade primary school students in the city of Seoul. For the tool of measure the investigation of Korean family circumstances with particular characteristics, the personality test by Chong Pom Mo and Kim Ho Kwon, and the intelligence test by Lee Sang Ro, Chin Whal Kyo and Pyon Chang Jin were employed. For the statistical analysis S. A. S. C., the statistical analysis package of KAIST was employed. The resutis of the test can be summarized as follows. The correlation between the variable of family Circumstance and that of mathematical alility 1) In case of the significance level 0.05 the education of the childs mother and the order of the child's birth have much to do with the perception speed. In case of the significance level 0.1 it makes some difference in the child's perception spead whether the clild's mother has a job or not. 2) In case of the significance level 0.05 the education of the child's father and mother, the father's job and the type of habitation have influence on the child's perception of space. 3) In case of the significance level 0.05 the education of the child's father and mother, the father's job, the order of the child's birth, the type of habitation, their religion, and their cultural, and economic standard have influence on the child's ability of inference. 4) In case of the significance level 0.05 the education of the child's father and mother, the father's job, the type of habitation, their religion and their cultural and economic standard have influence on the child's ability of calculation. 5) In case of the significance level 0.05 any variable of the child's family circumstance has nothing to do with the child's memory. In case of the significance level 0, 1 the type of family and the type of habitation have effect on the child's memory. 6) In case of the significance level 0.05 the education of the child's parents, the jobs of the parents, the type of habtation, their religion, and their cultural and economic standard have influence on the child's linguistic notion. The correlation between the variable of the child's personality and that of the child's mathematical ability 1) In regard to the priority of the variables influencing the child's perception speed, the child's discretion comes first in order, and then sociability and impulsiveness of the child. 2) The child's discretion has effect on the child's space perception. 3) The child's discretion has effect on the child's ability of inference. 4) In regard to the child's ability of calculation the child's discretion comes first in order, and then impulsiveness and sociability of the child. 5) The child's discretion has effect on memory. 6) The child's discretion has effect on the child's linguistic notion.
Many efforts for finding smooth curves and surfaces satisfying given constraints have been made, and interpolation and approximation theories with the help of computers have played an important role in this endeavour. Most research in curve and surface modeling has been largely dominated by the theory of parametric representations. While they have been successfully used in representing physical objects, parametric surfaces are confronted with some problems when objects are represented and manipulated in geometric modeling systems. In recent year, increasing attention has been paid to implicit algebraic surfaces since they are often more effective than parametric surfaces are. In this paper, we summarize the geometric properties and computational processes of objects represented using implicit algebraic functions and explain of the implementation of design tools which can design curves and surfaces of revolution. These surfaces of revolution are played an importance role in effective areas such as CAD and CAM.
Parameterization has been one of very important research subjects in several application areas including computer graphics. In the parameterization research, the problem of mapping 3D polygonal model to 2D plane has been studied frequently, but the previous methods often fail to handle complicated shapes of polygonal surfaces effectively as well as entail distortion between the 3D and 2D spaces. Several attempts have been made especially to reduce such distortion, but they often suffer from the problem when an arbitrary rectangular surface region on 3D model is locally parameterized. In this paper, we propose a new local parameterization scheme based on the projection level set method. This technique generates a series of equi-distanced curves on the surface region of interest, which are then used to generate effective local parameterization information. In this paper, we explain the new technique in detail and show its effectiveness by demonstrating experimental results.

By PISA 2007, TIMSS 2011, Korean high school students had high academic achievement to science and mathematics, while they had low attitude. Prospective college students are increasingly avoiding natural science and engineering. Moreover, the opportunities to learn to computer science in middle and high school are disappeared rapidly. The necessity of STEAM program based on Physical computing arise under these situation. Therefore, we developed STEAM program and studied the effects of the program in 2012. The result showed that students' scientific interests and attitude, scientific problem solving ability, scientific creative problem solving ability, personality test for children, and satisfaction of school life were enhanced. This study is follow-up study for the same students who improved every domain of the measurements. They were administerd pre-test at start of 2012, post-test at end of 2012, and delayed post-test at the end of 2013, on same test. The result of the study showed that only attitude to Scientific Inquiry was enhanced, but there was no significant result on the other domain of the test in comparison with start of 2012. But this result demonstrate the effect of STEAM education conversely.

Recently, regional society requires engineers to understand the international affairs and to be global experts endowed with leadership. General education appropriate to engineers should fulfill these needs and provide wide understandings in humanity. General sciences education should be also reinforced for the students taking low level science courses under 7th education program to improve learning ability of the major subjects in college. A general education component including humanity for the engineers could be trained continuously from primary school to college under the 2009 revised education program. Various opportunity for education should be provided through the special curriculum development at the college or department level, which trains experts who fulfill the need of community. Multi-major program is a substitute for offering the educational opportunity to the students in environmental engineering, one of multidisciplinary programs. Emphasized criteria of the curriculum requirements and adequate contents of general education need be also developed for supporting the students to take advanced courses in major.
The purpose of this study was to investigate how teachers recognize the differentiation of gifted education in invention to gifted education in science. An online survey was conducted to more than 500 hundred school teachers to ask (1) if gifted education in invention is necessary as an independent area of gifted education, (2) if gifted education in invention should be differentiated in identification, education programs, councelling, facilities and so on to gifted education in science, and (3) what problems gifted education in invention are facing and how we can promote gifted education in invention. Findings by this study are like the following: 1. Almost all teachers, regardless of whether their duty is related to gifted education in invention or not, recognized the necessity of gifted education in invention as an independent area of gifted education, especially from gifted education in science. 2. Teachers recognized the differentiation of gifted education in invention in diverse aspects of gifted education, like identification, educational programming, and so on, especially to gifted education in science. 3. Teachers recognized the shortage of trained teachers as the most critical obstacles to gifted education in invention, and also thought training programs for teachers as the most important means that can promote gifted education in invention.

The Ministry of Education issues STEAM education as a part of convergence. Most important is "How to achieve goals of STEAM education". The goal of this paper searches possibilities that robot is a good tool for STEAM education. The main topic is photosynthesis unit as circumstantiation and "Deep sea exploration robot", is creative activity, in elementary science subject. Students complete 13 basic course about robot, then accomplish subject-oriented 10 robot application course about above topic. Basic course contains math and science elements that students learn in regular curriculum. Application course is organized following steps, photosynthesis with oxygen sensors, brainstorming, idea derivation, robot design, robot construction, demo and presentation and so on. These courses have elements of STEAM. Finally teacher has face-to-face meeting with parents and students. Most have positive aspects about this process in terms of creativity, study attitude, and school life. Specially low-ranking students win a prize in robot competition. So they can gain confidence and accomplishment. This paper don't show statistic chart, but we surely knew that robot education for STEAM education seriously affect creativity huminity and job search.
