numerical Simulation of Converging Flow in a Coextrusion Die (Coextrusion Die에서 수축흐름의 수치모사)

  • 공압출되는 sheet die에서 뉴튼 유체의 수축흐름을 격자생성법을 이용한 유한차분법 을 사용하여 수치모사하였다. 계면조건의 처리방법을 개발하였고 점도 및 채널 모양이 압력 강하 및 신장속도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 압력강하는 점도비의 영향을 크게 받았으며 신장속도는 점도비 및 채널 모양의 영향을 크게 받았다. 여러 가지채널모양에서 신장속도를 비교해 본 결과, 트럼펫 모양의 수축채널이 신장속도가 가장속도가 가장 작게 나타났다.

Turbulent Heat Transfer and Friction in Four-Wall Convergent/Divergent Square Channels with One Ribbed Wall (한면에 리브가 설치된 4벽면 수축/확대 채널의 난류 열전달과 유체마찰)

  • The local heat transfer and pressure drop of developed turbulent flows in convergent/divergent channels with square axial cross-sectional areas were experimentally investigated to improve the channel design, such as a gas turbine cooling system. Square convergent/divergent channels with one ribbed wall were manufactured with a fixed rib height e of 10 mm and a ratio of rib spacing p to height e of 10. The measurement was conducted for Reynolds numbers from 15,000 to 89,000. Convergent, divergent, and straight channels with ratios $D_{ho}/D_{hi}$ of 0.75, 1.33, and 1.0, respectively, are considered. Of the three channel types, the ribbed divergent channel was found to produce the best thermal performance under identical flow rate, pumping power, and pressure loss conditions.

  • In this paper, the performance of DS/SS DPSK communications is analysed over fading dispersive channels considering the spreads of the channel in time and in frequency. The two spreads mentioned above are represented with multipath spread and Doppler spread, respectively. The bit error probabilities of DS/SS DPSK systems are derived in terms of channel and system parameters, and an approximation method is presented for computational efficiency. And the numerical results are given for various chip numbers in Rayleigh and Rician fading channels using the approximation method.

  • 공압출되는 sheet die에서 고분자 물질의 비등온 유동유동을 수치모사하였다. 유변학 적 식으로 power-law model을 사용하였고, 격자생성법을 이용한 유한차분법을 사용하였다. 수치계산을 통해 수축채널에서의 온도 분포를 구해보고 점도가 채널에서의 온도 분포를 구 해 보고 점도가 채널에서의 압력강하 및 신장속도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 압력강하는 외부 유체의 점도 및 heat dissipation의 영향을 크게 받았다. 신장속도는 외부 유체의 점도 가 증가함에 따라 커진 반면 내부 유체의 점도가 증가함에 따라 커진반면, 내부 유체의 점 도증가에 따라 감소하였고, heat dissipation에 의해 증가하였다.

  • Two difference cavitation models based on the homogeneous mixture model are used to study cavitating flows through converging-diverging channel. Here, the cloud cavities, pressure distributions and other results have been obtained and compared to evaluate two cavitation models. What's more, differences are observed in the simulated results, due to the differences in characteristics of each model. Analytical results shows that the new improvement cavitation model is validated to have better effects on simulating cavitating flows

  • The local heat transfer and pressure drop of developed turbulent flows in the smooth convergent/divergent channels with rectangular and square cross-sectional areas along the axial distance have been investigated experimentally. The measurement was conducted within the range of Reynolds numbers from 15,000 to 89,000. The channel hydraulic diameter ratios of 0.67 and 1.49 in the rectangular channel with 2 inclined walls and the ratios 0.75 and 1.33 in the square channel with 4 inclined walls are considered. The comparison showed that among the four channels the square divergent channel has the highest thermal performance at the identical mass flow rate, at the identical pumping power, and at the static pressure drop.

  • In an OFDMA system the performance of multi-user scheduling in the frequency domain is affected by the frequency selectivity of the channel. If the channel is too flat in the frequency domain, the multi-user scheduling gain might be degraded. On the contrary, if the frequency selectivity is too high and the magnitude of the frequency response severely fluctuates on the allocation bandwidth, it is also hard to get sufficient scheduling gain. For maximizing the multi-user scheduling gain, a cyclic delay diversity technique can be used to adjust the frequency selectivity of the channel. This paper proposes a method to determine the optimal delay value of cyclic delay diversity according to the allocation bandwidth and the channel characteristics.

  • Dibutyryl-cyclic AMP (db-cAMP) and forskolin were used to investigate vasodilating mechanism of cAMP in rabbit aorta. Db-cAMP and forskolin inhibited the development of contractile tension induced by norepinephrine (NE) concentration-dependently. However, high $K{^+}-induced$ contractile tension was inhibited less effectively by db-cAMP and forskolin. Db-cAMP and forskolin inhibited $^{45}Ca^{2+}$ uptake increased by NE. Forskolin seemed to inhibit $^{45}Ca^{2+}$ uptake increased by high $K{^+}$, but this inhibition was not significant statistically. Db-cAMP inhibited $Ca^{2+}-transient$ contraction by NE in $Ca^{2+}-free$ solution. In conclusion, it seems that cAMP blocks $Ca^{2+}$ influx through receptor operated $Ca^{2+}$ channels (ROCs), but that the effect of cAMP on $Ca^{2+}$ influx through voltage gated $Ca^{2+}$ channels (VGCs) is not clear in this experiment. Furthermore, cAMP is likely to inhibit calcium release from the intracellular stores.

Comparisons on Diversity Techniques for SC-FDE Systems (SC-FDE 시스템에서의 다이버시티 기술 비교)

  • This paper compares the performances of cyclic delay diversity and phase rolling techniques for SC-FDE(Single Carrier with Frequency Domain Equalization) systems with multiple transmit antennas assuming time-flat and frequency-flat channels. In OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems generation of time varying channels using phase rolling can result in performance gains comparable to those of frequency-selective channels made by cyclic delay diversity However, in SC-FDE systems making time-selective channels may produce better results than creation of frequency-selective channels.

  • 일반적으로 사출성형법은 유동, 보압, 냉각과정등 크게 3단계로 나눌 수 있는 데 유동해석에 관한 수치해석은 Tadmor 등이 FAN(Flow Analysis Network) 방법을 도입하면서 실제 적용에 활발히 쓰이고있다. 그리고보압은 후충전 과정으로써 충전이 끝난후 수축된 부분을 보상하기 위해서 수행되는 단계이다. 본 연구에서는 실제 사출금형 제작 시 결정해야 될 냉각 채널의 위치, 크기, 수동에 대한 설계기준을 얻을 수 있는 냉각해석 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여경계 요소법(Boundary Element Method)을 이용하였으며 일반적인 냉각 채널 즉, Annual, Baffle 및 Bubber등 에 대한 해석이 가능하도록 하였다.
