Relationship among Role Conflict, Ambiguity, Overload and Service Delivery Level of Tour Conductor (국외여행인솔자의 역할갈등, 모호성, 과부하와 서비스 제공 수준과의 영향관계)

  • Many approaches exist for studying travel service quality, employee's satisfaction, and traveler' satisfaction. Although tour conductor play an important role in travel service, there is a lack of research on how to conceptualize and measure tour conductor's role, role stress and service delivery level. So this paper presents a conceptual framework and research approach for examining the role conflict, ambiguity, overload, and service delivery level of tour conductor in group package and the impacts of role stress on service delivery level. Results indicate that there are significant affection on service delivery level of TC among the role conflict, ambiguity, and overload. For the most part, the role conflict and ambiguity more impacted on responsibility and empathy with service encounter, the role overload affected on professional and tangibles. In conclusion, the studies reported here highlight the importance of individual effort as well as organizational police in reducing strain and improving service delivery level.

Evaluation of Competence Level of Caregivers Using Fuzzy Theory (퍼지이론을 이용한 요양보호사의 역량수준평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the competence level of the caregiver and verify empirically the evaluated score of the competence level of the caregiver depending on the type of career and employment to propose a measure to improve the quality of care services. To more accurately evaluate the competence level of caregiver, the collected data were analyzed using fuzzy relationships for identifying the extent of relationship, after setting weighted values for the evaluation factors for working levels and service qualities. Such approach has a significance in that individual evaluation factors and individual's competence levels for caregivers may be more suitably and exactly identified. The analysis results are as follows. Care skill, reliability, assurance, typicality were statistically significant according to the caregiver's career. Also, according to the types of employment, job consciousness, responsiveness, empathy, typicality were statistically significant. To improve the competence level of the caregiver, it may be seen that improvement of job consciousness considering the career and employment types and making environments for acquiring the care skills should be done, while providing stability of the employment types rather than careers is more meaningful to improve the quality of services.

The Levels of the Teaching of Mathematical Reasoning on the Viewpoint of Mathematical Forms and Objects (수학의 형식과 대상에 따른 수학적 추론 지도 수준)

  • The study tries to differentiate the levels of mathematical reasoning from inductive reasoning to formal reasoning for teaching gradually. Because the formal point of view without the relation to objects has limitations in the creation of a new knowledge, our mathematics education needs consider the such characteristics. We propose an intuitive level of proof related in concrete operations and perceptual experiences as an intermediating step between inductive and formal reasoning. The key activity of the intuitive level is having insight on the generality of reasoning. The details of the process should pursuit the direction for going away from objects and near to formal reasoning. We need teach the mathematical reasoning gradually according to the appropriate level of reasoning more differentiated.

The Findings and Implications from the TIMSS and TIMSS-R Korean data (TIMSS와 TIMSS-R 수학성취도 결과로부터의 시사점)

  • 우리나라 중학교 2학년 학생들은 제3차 수학.과학 국제비교연구인 TIMSS와 그 반복연구인 TIMSS-R의 수학 검사에서 최상위권의 성취 수준을 보임으로써 국내외 연구자들의 관심의 초점이 되어 왔다. 이 논문은 우선 우리나라 학생들이 높은 성취 수준을 기록할 수 있는 원인을 $\circled1$ 체계적인 수 세기 방식, $\circled2$ 상급 학교 진학을 위한 시험의 대비, $\circled3$ 수학 교사 의 능력, $\circled4$ 교육과정과 검사와의 관련성, $\circled5$ 검사에 대한 태도라는 다섯 가지 측면에서 탐색하였다. 또한 높은 성취 수준 이면에 드리워진 부정 적인 측면을 조망하여 $\circled1$ 공학적 도구 의 이용에 대한 소극성, $\circled2$ 실생활 관련 문장제에 대한 저조한 성취 수준, $\circled3$ 지역에 따른 성취 수준의 차이, $\circled4$ 수학에 대한 부정적인 태도의 네 가지로 요약하였다. 또한 TIMSS-R 의 수학 성취 수준에 대한 성별 차이를 $\circled1$ 친숙함/생소함, $\circled2$ 대수/기하, $\circled3$ 자유반응형/선택형이라는 세 가지 측면에서 분석하였다. 마지막으로 국제비교 연구의 결과는 국가별 평균성취 수준의 양적인 비교에 초점을 두기보다는, 성취도 이면에 깔린 다양한 요소에 대한 복합적인 고려와 깊이 있는 분석을 통해 수학교육의 현 상태를 점검하는 하나의 잣대로 이용해야 한다는 점을 지적하였다.

An Equivalent Mutation Detection Method for Class-Level Mutation Analysis (클래스 수준 뮤테이션 분석을 위한 동등 뮤턴트 검출 기법)

  • Mutation testing is known as a very useful technique for measuring the effectiveness of a test data set and finding weak points of the test set. An equivalent mutant degrades the effectiveness of mutation testing. Elimination of equivalent mutants is a very important problem in mutation testing.In this paper, we proposed kinds of methods for detecting class-level equivalent mutants. These methods judge the equivalency of mutants through structural informations and behavioral information of the original program and mutants using static analysis. We found that our approach can detect not a few of equivalent mutants and expected that the cost of mutation testing can be saved considerably.

Piagetian cognitive developmental level and learner control as instructional design variables in CAI (CAI 설계변인으로서의 Piaget 인지 발달 수준과 학습자의 수업조절 (learner-control))

  • CAI 프로그램 개발에 Piaget의 인지 발달 이론과 학습자의 수업 조절(learner-control) 전략을 적용하기 위한 기초 연구로서, 미국의 North Carolina주에 있는 Greensboro Day School의 9학년과 10학년 학생 102명을 실험 대상으로 하여 인지 발달의 수준을 조사하고, 3그룹으로 나누어 그들에게 구체적 조작 수준의 CAI, 형식적 조작 수준의 CAI, 그리고 학습자가 수업의 수준을 선택 학습할 수 있는 CAI의 3가지 형태를 각각 학습시킨 후 학습의 효과성을 조사 비교하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 조사 학생들의 3.92%가 구체적 조작의 초기 수준(IIA)에, 37.25%가 구체적조작의 완전 수준(IIB)에, 47.06%가 형식적 조작의 초기 수준(IIIA)에, 그리고 11.76%가 형식적 조작의 완전 수준(IIIB)에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 구체적 조작 수준의 문항에 대하여, 형식적 조작 수준의 CAI를 실시 한 그룹은 학습자 수업 조절 CAI를 실시한 그룹보다 유의하게 높은 학업 성취도를 보였다(F=3.660, P=0.031). 3) 구체적 조작 수준의 문항에 대하여, 형식적 수준의 수업만 학습한 그룹은 구체적 수준과 형식적 수준의 수업을 신어서 학습한 그룹보다 유의하게 높은 학업 성취도를 보였다(F=3.257, P=0.044). 4) 성취도 검사의 전체 문항에 대하여, 구체적 수준의 수업만 학습한 그룹의 구체적 수준의 학생들은 구체적 수준과 형식적 수준의 수업을 섞어서 학습한 그룹의 구체적 수준의 학생들보다 유의하게 높은 학업 성취도를 보였다(F=5,340, P=0.009). 5) 형식적 조작 수준의 문항에 대하여, 구체적 수준의 수업만 학습한 그룹의 구체적 수준의 학생들은 구체적 수준과 형식적 수준의 수업을 섞어서 학습한 그룹의 구체적 수준의 학생들보다 유의하게 높은 학업 성취도를 보였다(F=3.511, P=0.044).

  • 1990년대 이후 스키 인구는 성장추세를 보여 왔으나, 현재 포화상태에 도달했다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 스키 참가자의 레크리에이션 전문화 수준 향상이 위기에 봉착한 스키산업의 돌파구로서 작용할 수 있다고 판단하고, 레크리에이션 전문화에 부정적인 영향을 미친다고 보고된 여가제약 요인을 실증적으로 제시하고 스키 참가자의 레크리에이션 전문화 수준별 여가제약 요인의 특징을 규명했다. 스키 참가자의 여가제약은 동반자, 개인적, 경제, 타인의식, 여건, 시설의 6개 요인으로 나타났다. 레크리에이션 전문화 수준별 여가제약 요인의 평균을 비교해본 결과 레크리에이션 전문화 수준이 낮은 집단에서는 경제적 요인, 레크리에이션 전문화 수준이 중간인 집단과 높은 집단에서는 시설요인이 가장 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 여가제약 요인별 레크리에이션 전문화 수준에 따른 여가제약 수준의 차이를 분석해본 결과 모든 요인에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

Case Analysis on the Signification Model of Three Signs in a Mathematically Gifted Student's Abstraction Process (수학 영재의 추상화 학습에서 기호의 의미 작용 과정 사례 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse how a mathematically gifted student constructs a nested signification model of three signs, while he abstracts the solution of a given NIM game. The findings of a qualitative case study have led to conclusions as follows. In general, we know that most of mathematically gifted students(within top 0.01%) in the elementary school might be excellent in constructing representamen and interpretant But it depends on the cases. While a student, one of best, is making the meaning of object in general level of abstraction, he also has a difficulty in rising from general level to formal level. When he made the interpretant in general level with researcher's advice, he was able to rise formal level and constructed a nested signification model of three signs. We suggested 3 considerations to teach the mathematically gifted students in elementary school level.

A Study on the Method of Measuring and Valuation of Technology Level in Public Large-Scale R&D Program (국가 대형 R&D 기술수준 측정 및 평가 방법 연구)

  • In this study, new evaluation perspective and analysis methodology are suggested to assess the technological level of new product produced by national large R&D program and applied to case analysis of the superconducting cable technology. Logical Procedures for the assessment of the technological level include essential technology classification, analysis of evaluation factors, structure and content of assessment items, presentation method of the analysis result. Variable with technological properties are employed to analyze the relative competitiveness subjectively. The principal component analysis are applied to measure the relative competitiveness in terms of size and position. Finally the combined results of technology and right evaluation show that the technology level of DAPAS superconducting cables lies somewhere between 96.11% and 101.76% compared with a global leader in technology. The result provides sufficient evidences that it secures technological edges over other competitors. Therefore it can be called as a globally leading technology. New evaluation perspective and analysis methodology suggested can be applied usefully to assess the technology level of public large-scale R&D program.

Managerial Share Ownership and Capital Structure: Evidence from Panel Data (소유경영자지분율과 자본구조: 외환위기 이후기간 패널자료분석)

  • The agency relationship between managers and shareholders has the potential to influence decision-making in the firm which in turn potentially impacts on firm characteristics such as value and leverage. Using an agency framework, we examine the relation between ownership structure and capital structure during post-IMF period. We used the balanced panel data for 378 korean listed companies during the 1999-2005. The panel data sets consist of time-series observation on each of 378 cross-sectional units. The results indicate a non-linear U-shaped relation between the level of managerial share ownership and leverage with the relation reaching a minimum at 58.48 per cent of management share ownership. As managerial share ownership increase from a low level, managers have incentive to reduce the debt level for decreasing the financial risk, resulting in a lower lever of debt. However, when corporate managers hold a significant proportion of a firm's shares, managers have incentive to increase the debt level for leverage effects, resulting in a higher lever of debt.
