The Effect of Mother's Acceptance Parenting Attitude and Optimism on Children's Self-Regulation (어머니의 낙관성 및 수용적 양육태도가 유아의 자기조절에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mother's acceptance parenting attitude and optimism on children's self-regulation including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral regulation. Methods: The subjects were 361 3, 4, 5 - year - old children and their mothers who attended to the early childhood education institutions. One-way ANOVA was conducted to find out age differences in self-regulation. The regression analysis were conducted to find out whether the mother's optimism could predict their children's self-regulation. The stepwise regression analysis were conducted to find out whether the mother's acceptance parenting attitude could predict their children's self-regulation. Results: As for the self-regulation, there were significant age differences in the cognitve regulation and the behavioral regulation, but not in the emotional regulation. It implies that the abilities of cognitive and behavioral regulation increase as the age level goes up. As for the relations between mother's optimism and their children's self-regulation, only the permanence factor of the mother's optimism predicted children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral regulation. As for the relations between mother's acceptance parenting attitude and their children's self-regulation, two components of mother's acceptance parenting attitude (unconditionally love & right) could predict children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral regulation. The component of unique could predict the cognitive and emotional regulation. Conclusion/Implications: These results suggest that mother's optimism and acceptance parenting attitude positively affect on the development of self-regulation ability in children.

The Effect of Multicultural Youth's Cultural Adaptation Stress and National Identity on Dual Cultural Acceptance Attitudes

  • The purpose of this study examines to what extent the multicultural youth's dual culture acceptance attitude is significantly affected by cultural adaptation stress and national identity using the data of the MAPS(Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study) conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. The subject of the study was the first data of the second period of the MAPS, and 2,246 multicultural youth who were enrolled in the fourth grade of elementary school as of 2019 were used as analysis data. As a result of the study, it was found that the attitude to accept dual culture was significantly affected in the order of national identity and cultural adaptation stress. This means that the higher the national identity and the lower the cultural adaptation stress, the higher the attitude toward dual culture. On the other hand, as for the type of multicultural youth, it was found that international marriage families had the lowest attitude toward accepting dual culture. In terms of the size of the area where students live, large cities have the lowest dual cultural acceptance attitude. These results suggest that cultural adaptation stress, national identity, type of multicultural family, and area of residence act as major variables in multicultural youth's dual culture acceptance attitude.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between consumption value, advertisement acceptance attitude, and purchase intention according to the MBTI personality type. The results of a survey and analysis targeting the MZ generation with experience in purchasing digital products are as follows. 1.There was no difference between consumption value and advertisement acceptance attitude according to the MBTI personality type. 2. Among the consumption values, Factors of rarity value and emotional value had an effect on purchase intention. 3. Among the attitude of accepting advertisements, advertising favors, information trust and negative cognition had a positive effect on purchase intention. Accordingly, providing advertising content including information and interest about digital products is considered effective in marketing of the MZ generation, which represents flex consumption and minus-out consumption.

  • This study empirically analyzed which influence the moderating effect of individual characteristics has on adolescents' perceived parenting attitude and school life adjustment. The results showed that parenting attitude positively affected social adjustment; particularly, affection and acceptance had significant effects on academic and social adjustment. As for influence of parenting attitude upon school life adjustment, women showed more significant result than men in schoolwork adjustment, social adjustment, and environmental/general adjustment when attachment factor is high. Also, it could be known that the birth placing moderates the influence upon social adjustment by democratic autonomous parenting attitude and attachment acceptance-based parenting attitude in the parenting attitude.

  • The purpose of the study is to establish a successful the national tax service electronic document system and suggest an application method by investigating relationships among perceived availability, perceived usefulness and system acceptance suggested by Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). As a result, perceived availability and perceived usefulness were playing roles as mediums on the process of accepting an tax electronic document system, and information quality of the electronic document system turned out to influence on perceived availability and perceived usefulness. And perceived availability turned out to influence on perceived usefulness. This suggests that the more tax officials feel comfortable in using an tax electronic document system, the more useful they perceive it is.

Factors Affecting Mobile Advertising Acceptance: How Young Consumers React to Online Mobile Ads (모바일 광고 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인들: 젊은 소비자들은 온라인 모바일 광고에 어떻게 반응하는가)

  • Mobile devices have become the most influential media platform. Mobile advertising has thus grown much faster than any other type of advertising. This study is designed to examine antecedents of attitude toward mobile ads, antecedents such as irritation, personalization, and online information privacy concerns. The study also examines consumers' attitudes toward mobile ads as an antecedent of mobile advertising acceptance. Study findings suggest that irritation is not a statistically significant predictor of attitude toward mobile ads. An antecedent found to be positively related to attitude toward mobile ads is personalization and one found to be negatively related is online privacy concerns. Finally, consumers' attitudes toward mobile ads are found to be positively related to a general acceptance of mobile advertising. Practical implications are discussed.

Credibility of e-WOM in Travel Industry, and Its Influence in WOM Effect (온라인 구전 여행정보의 신뢰와 구전효과 연구)

  • Today's wide-spread Internet technology allowed consumers to access much Word-of-Mouth information through an online board. As communication and exchanging information between travelers becomes easier and faster, e-WOM (Electronic Word-of-Mouth) is recognized as one of the most influencing communication methods in today's society. This new trend implies a significant impact to travel industry. This study focuses on interaction between Credibility on e-WOM, brand attitude, WOM acceptance, WOM activity and purchasing intention of travel product. The result of this study suggests: (1) Credibility in e-WOM provides positive effect in brand attitude, (2) Brand Attitude gives positive effect on WOM acceptance, WOM activity and purchasing intention of travel product, (3) WOM acceptance gives positive effect on WOM activity, but it is not effective on purchasing intention of travel product. Regarding e-WOM management of travel agencies through its website or online community, authors would like to argue that travel agencies need to build positive brand attitude based on Credibility in brand, which would lead consumers to positively acknowledge its brand and spread words out to other consumers.

The Effect of Bicultural Acceptance Attitude on Depression of Multicultural Adolscent: Mediating Effect of Social Withdrawal (다문화청소년의 이중문화수용 태도가 우울에 미치는 영향과 사회적 위축의 매개효과)

  • The study aims to explain the effect of bicultural acceptance on depression of multicultural adolescents and to analyze the mediating effect of social withdrawal between two variables. To accomplish the purpose, 1,158 subjects were selected from the 8th(2018) data of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS), and the data collected were analyzed by using Process Macro Model and Bootstrapping analysis. The major findings are as follows. First, positive bicultural acceptance attitude of multicultural adolescents was shown to decrease their social withdrawal and depression. Second, social withdrawal of multicultural adolescents affected increase of their depression. Third, the effect of bicultural acceptance on depression of multicultural adolescents was partly mediated by their social withdrawal. Based on the above findings, practical alternatives and programs to reduce depression and social withdrawal of multicultural adolescents were suggested.

THE PARENT INFLUENCE ON STUDENT'S TEST ANXIETY (부모의 양육태도가 자녀의 시험불안에 미치는 영향)

  • It has long been accepted that test anxiety is developed by parent-child relationship. The purpose of this study was to investigate the parent influence on student's test anxiety. The Korean Form of Test Anxiety Inventory(TAI-K) and the Parent Attitude Scale were used. 481 primary school-and 500 high school students were participated in the study. The results were as follows ; 1) The parental factor identified as 'rejecting' was positively correlated with students' test anxiety, while the parental factor identified as 'rearing as self-controlled being' was negatively correlated. 2) The students who identified their parents as 'being achievement-oriented' reported significantly higher test anxiety than those who identified their parents as 'accepting'. Many studies also report that high test anxiety interferes with student's performance. Therefore, parents should accept and understand their children in order to alleviate test.
