A Study on the Application and the Effect of Business Culture Class Using Keller's ARCS Motivational Model (Keller의 ARCS 동기모델을 적용한 비즈니스문화 수업과정 설계 및 효과에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to apply Keller's ARCS motivational model to the business culture lessons and to examine the effects on cultural knowledge, interest, awareness and attitude of university students. To accomplish this purpose, the teaching-learning method applying ARCS model for business culture was designed, aiming to improve all elements of learning motivation such as attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. The experiment was conducted with two groups as follows; one experimental group that received instruction using ARCS model and the other comparison group that received traditional lecture instruction. Both the instruction using the ARCS model and the traditional lecture instruction was effective in increasing knowledge of culture. The instruction using the ARCS model was verified to improve interest in culture, understanding of others from other cultures, motivation to create culture, perception of importance of culture, and perception of necessity of culture education. But the traditional lecture instruction did not show statistically meaningful effects on cultural interest, awareness and attitude.

  • 본 논문에서는 on-line을 통한 교육방법의 하나인 e-learning(Web Based Instruction)을 활용한 음악과 수업모형을 개발하여 교육적 활용 효과를 검증하였다. 웹 기반 교수학습 자료를 구축하고 각종 학습 자료를 탑재하여 수업에 활용하였으며, 교육 효과를 보다 정확히 알아보기 위해 수준별(상,중,하) 3개 그룹으로 나누어 e-learning 기법을 적용 사전평가 및 사후평가를 통하여 얻어진 결과를 통계 처리하여 검증하였다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 능력과 필요에 따라 능동적인 학습이 이루어지도록 하였다. 개별학습, 반복학습 및 자기주도적 학습을 진행할 수 있도록 구성하였으며, 그 결과 구체적이고 실질적인 학습 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. e-learning 활용수업을 실시한 실험 집단 전체에서 off-line 수업을 실시한 통제집단보다 학습 성취도에 있어서 효과적인 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 상위, 중위 그룹의 학생들에게는 웹 기반 교수학습 활용수업이 학습효과에 있어서 큰 차이가 없었지만 하위 그룹의 학생들에게는 크게 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스크래치 프로그래밍을 활용한 초등과학 '작은 생물' STEAM 수업을 개발하고 적용하여, 초등 영재학생의 창의적 인성, 창의적 문제해결력, 과학적 태도의 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 개발한 STEAM 수업은 과학 지식과 스크래치 프로그래밍을 통합한 내용적 융합의 방법을 통해 학습자가 창의적 설계와 감성적 체험을 효과적으로 경험할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 연구 대상은 26명의 초등과학 영재학생들이었으며, 양적 및 질적 접근을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 7차시의 수업을 적용한 결과, 개발한 STEAM 수업이 창의적 인성 및 과학적 태도에 효과가 있었다. 창의적 인성 하위 요소 중, 독립성에서 효과가 있었으며, 과학적 태도 측면에서는 자발성 및 인내심에서 유의한 상승을 보였다. 본 연구는 생명 과학 및 컴퓨터 프로그래밍처럼 STEAM 수업을 위한 효과적인 수단을 통합하는 일이 과학 기술에 대한 학생들의 창의성과 흥미를 신장시킬 수 있음을 제안한다.

A Study on Effectiveness of Online Interactive Cinematherapy Course Due to COVID-19: Emotional Intelligence and Empathic Ability (COVID-19로 인한 비대면 상호작용적 영화심리치료 수업의 효과성 연구: 감성지능과 공감능력)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify whether the Interactive Cinematherapy Course developed based on discussion is still effective for emotional intelligence and empathic ability, even in a college lecture environment where courses are given online due to COVID-19. The subjects were enrolled in the Interactive Cinematherapy Course and experienced either an online (N=139) or offline (N=212) course before and after COVID-19. To the offline course, students were given structural questions and conducted discussions, whereas the online course students were given feedback via e-mail to substitute discussion. The results were as follows. Compared to the offline courses, students in both online/offline courses commonly showed an increase in "Other's emotion appraisal", "Cognitive Empathy", "Perspective taking", "Fantasy", and "Emphatic Concern". The online course students showed an increase in the "Use of emotion", while offline course students showed an increase in "Self emotion appraisal". This shows that online and offline courses do not have a significant difference in effects. In qualitative research, the lecturer's communication ability and concern helped enhance the effectiveness of the Interactive Cinematherapy Course given online. This implies that communication between the lecturer and students and role of the lecturer are more important than the online environment.

  • The effects of three teaching models were compared in this research. One of those is concept change model, another is concept change model based on students learning motivations, the other is traditional teaching method based on science textbooks. The subjects of this research were the 8th grade students of Korean middle school. They were divided into three groups, and tested learning motivations. All of the three groups improved their learning motivations and concept understanding by the classes. Especially, the group of concept change model based on students learning motivations represented most effective improvement of learning motivations. The concept change teaching model and concept change teaching model based on students learning motivations are more effective in concept understanding than traditional teaching method based on textbooks. The students who have high learning motivations improved their concept understanding by the classes of concept change model based on students learning motivations. The students who have low learning motivations improved their learning motivations by the classes of concept change model based on students learning motivations also.

  • 학습자가 어려움을 느끼게 되는 프로그래밍 수업의 특징 중의 하나는 단계별 학습으로 이전 단계를 이해하지 못하면 그 다음 단계로 넘어가는데 어려움이 크다는 점이다. 이러한 어려움을 극복하고 학습 효과를 높이기 위해서는 단계별 학습을 유도하는 적절한 학습 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 성찰일지를 프로그래밍 수업에 적용한 후 설문조사를 실시하여 성찰일지가 프로그래밍 수업의 단계별 학습 효과 및 만족도를 높이고, 특히, 수업시간에는 기본적인 내용을 이해하고 있으나 복습이 부족한 학습태도를 가진 학습자들에게 보다 긍정적인 효과가 있었음을 조사 분석하였다.

  • This study is for analyzing the effect of smart blended instructional strategy in history class. The effectiveness of this strategy is set as students' academic achievement and learning interest. This study is applied to elementary school students who participated in history class by classifying the experiment group with smart blended instructional strategy and the comparison group with traditional teaching method. As a result of the t-test, the smart blended instructional strategy positively affected the students' academic achievement and learning interest. Through the qualitative analysis, the students' understanding of the class is improved and the concentration is also improved.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate 1) learner's satisfaction and perception on PBL 2) the relationship between learning styles and PBL preferences 3) the effects of decreasing communication apprehension through PBL. The results were as follows: 1) the students were satisfied with PBL and perceived positively on PBL 2) the students with high participative or cooperative learning styles were satisfied with PBL and perceived more positively on PBL, but those who had avoidant or dependent learning styles didn't perceive positively on PBL 3) the degree of communication apprehension in meeting was decreased significantly. We expect this research to be foundation in instructional design of PBL with individual differences
