  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the cases related with PBL and to suggest the activation plan of LAI based on the derived results. The analysis objects were the PBL cases which have been performed from 2000 to 2018 in Korean schools. The PBL cases were analysed in the aspects of school levels, target grades, subject clusters, teaching patterns, information sources, cooperative teaching status, library cooperative teaching status, and educational effects. The results were like these; 1)The PBL was applied at the elementary schools the most, the next middle schools, and high schools. 2)The teaching pattern was the exclusive teaching the most, and the next pattern was team teaching with other teacher, and the lowest pattern was with librarian teacher. 3)The subject cluster was natural science cluster the most and the next was the human & social science cluster and the art, music and physical education cluster. 4)The PBL performed with school library was low. 5)The main effects of PBL were the improvements of academic achievement, learning satisfaction degree, creative ability, problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning capability. As the results, it's proposed that it's important for librarian teachers to have the aggressive attitude for the activation of LAI as well as the cooperation with PBL subject teachers from the planning step to the evaluation.

  • Applying iterative learning utilizing SNS & Community to the class for pre-kindergarten teachers, the effectiveness of teaching satisfaction, self-efficacy, and curriculum understanding was verified. A iterative learning model utilizing SNS & Community in teachers leading traditional off-line teaching at college education field was applied separately into thinking to one-self by advance organizer, thinking together by presentation in the beginning of the class, and sharing the thoughts by community activities after the class. Iterative learning begins by being sent SNS to students from teachers before the class, but learners for themselves subsequently start to proceed self-directed learning activities. As a result, class satisfaction and understanding of pedagogy have been increased, and it had a positive influence on self-efficacy. Thus, it is to suggest utilizable SNS of professors and a teaching method utilizing Community to college students who need basic learning skills.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting flow state of the cooperative learning on nursing students live in convergence era. Data was collected a total of six weeks to two nursing freshman class 93 people from April to June 2015. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson's correlation coefficients and factors affecting the flow state was used for the multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Flow state of the cooperative learning was correlated with major satisfaction and learning satisfaction. The results of major satisfaction and learning satisfaction were significant predictors with 65.4% of the variance in flow state of the cooperative learning, learning satisfaction was confirmed by the affecting factor the flow state. This presents a basis for teaching method applied to maximize the flow state.

As a college English subject, 50-60 minutes of online classes were conducted for one semester where TED talks were used, and the data collected by conducting a survey on learners' English learning motivation, interest, attitude, satisfaction, and learning effect were analyzed utilized SMART PLS 3. The results are as follows. First, English learning motivation had a statistically significant effect on learning attitude while it did not affect the learning satisfaction. Second, the level of interest in the TED Talk-using class had a positive effect on the learning attitude and satisfaction. Third, the learning attitude positively affected the learning effect perception. Fourth, satisfaction with the TED Talk class had a positive effect on the learning effect perception. In conclusion, English classes using TED talk can increase the interest and satisfaction of learners, and induce active class participation, which lead to a positive perception in learners' learning effects. Therefore, this study implies that TED talks are valuable and significant enough as materials in college English classes.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for measuring obsessive compulsive and to verify structural validity from students participating in physical education class. The procedure for this purpose was firstly conducted through an open questionnaire, followed by item search and appropriateness assessment, then analyzing the reliability of the final version based on the preliminary criterion and checking the construct validity. After analyzing the factors of the criticism, We collected the data and analyzed the items and the factors from 387 respondents. The subjects were social obsession (4 items), psychological obsession (3 items) and physical obsession (3 items) The final determinant of the 10 factors was completed. We conducted A multivariate analysis on the determinants of gender and class satisfaction to confirm the external relationship review. The reliability of the scale developed in this study showed not only a high level of confidence from .856 to .907, but also reasonized and proved to be an obsessional scale for physical education for the promotion of life care. • The purpose of this study is to analyze Korean college students' perceptions of interactions and senses of community, among students, and instructors and students as they took face-to-face classes by the time students and instructors came back to the classroom. Forty-nine college students participated in the study, and all of them had experienced non-face-to-face classes during the last two years from 2020 through 2021. They responded to the revised Rovai (2002)'s Classroom Community Scale (CCS), and the data were analyzed using a frequency analysis. The findings of data analysis showed that the students positively perceived the class contents and teaching formats of face-to-face classes, in terms of understanding and concentration on the class. On the other hand, it was found out that the students would still need more time for being familiar with face-to-face classes, and their affective variables of the educational environment should be considered.

  • The present study aims to investigate how general education EFL instructors who teach in a higher education institution in Korea perceive mixed-ability classes and the teaching strategies that they utilized to teach learners who have varying English proficiency levels and may have different instructional needs. Twenty instructors at a higher education institution in Korea who teach general education EFL courses participated in a questionnaire and three of the twenty instructors participated in follow-up interviews. The findings from the questionnaire and interviews showed that instructors' experiences teaching mixed-ability classes were positive. They offered clear guidelines for participation to help motivate learners and found that higher level students helped lower level students through group work. The instructors also felt that ESP could be a possibility in mixed-ability classes to meet the learners educational needs.

  • This study suggested a process of redesigning and implementing problem based learning to enhance students' active and collaborative learning activities and learning outcomes. The results of this study are as follows. First, the ef ect of class participation, academic self-regulated learning, and academic self-efficacy were examined. As a result, first, the average of learning activity, class extension, and participation in class was high in the difference between before and after class. Second, the post average scores of all the factors except the 'evaluation' were higher than before. Third, academic self-efficacy showed a significant difference only in 'task preference'. Finally, students' satisfaction with the class was also high. The professor was also able to grasp the characteristics of individual students by designing and operating the classes using PBL, and it was confirmed that the interaction with students increased. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the limitations and educational implications of the problem based learning class and propose successful problem based learning design and operation of the classroom.
