Postbuckling Analysis of laminated composite-stringer stiffened-Curved panels Loaded in Local compression. (국부 압축력을 받는 스트링거 보강 복합적층 만곡 판넬의 좌굴후 거동해석)

  • In this paper, postbuckling behavior of laminated composite-stringer stiffened-curved panels loaded in local compression is analyzed using the finite element program developed. Postbuckling Analysis is performed in dividing the panel behavior into three basic parts. The eight node degenerated shell element is used in modelling both panel and stiffeners, and the updated Lagrangian description method based on the 2nd Piola-Kirchhoff stress tensor and the Green strain tensor is used for the nonlinear finite element formulation. The progressive failure analysis is adopted in order to grasp the failure characteristics. The postbuckling experiment of the laminated composite-stiffened-curved panel had been done to verify the finite element analysis. The buckling load and the postbuckling ultimate load are compared in parametric study.

  • 고압 방전 램프는 점등 후부터 정상상태에 이르기까지 방전관 내부의 온도 및 압력이 광범위하게 변화하는 복잡한 동작 특성으로 모델링이 어렵다. 이러한 특성은 램프를 구동하는 안정기의 설계에 어려움이 따른다. 램프의 구동에는 초기 점화 시 높은 점화용 전압 펄스를 필요로 한다. 점화 후에 정상상태에 다다르면 램프 전극의 소모를 줄이기 위해 교류로 구동되어야 한다. 하지만 램프를 교류로 구동하게 되면 음향 공진 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 음향 공진 현상은 램프 구동 전류의 맥동성분이 큰 경우에도 발생을 할 수 있으므로 구동 전류의 맥동 성분의 크기는 최소화 돼야 한다. 램프의 수명시간을 길게 하려면, 안정기는 램프를 정격전력으로 구동하여야 한다. 따라서 안정기에서는 정전력 제어가 필요하게 된다. 램프 전류의 극성이 변화할 때, 램프 전류는 spike전류와 중첩이 된다. 본 논문에서는 spike 전류를 저주파구형파 램프 전류의 포락범위 안에 유지하고, 고주파 스위칭시손실을 줄이기 위해 소프트 스위칭 기법을 이용한 회로 설계를 제안했다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션 및 이론적 수식적 방법으로 검증 했다.

  • Predictive filter theory proposed recently can be characterized by inherent advantages of estimating modelling error and overcoming the disadvantage of the Kalman filter theory. A one-step ahead error is minimized to produce optimized filter performance in the form of the predictive filter. The main advantage of this filter lies in the ability to estimate both state vector and system model error. In this paper, attitude estimation results based upon the predictive filter theory is addressed. Mathematical formulation for estimating bias signal is peformed by using the predictive filter theory, and attitude estimation based upon vector observation is presented. From the results of this study, the potential applicability of the predictive filter is highlighted.

  • To guarantee the quality of service for user request, we should consider various kinds of things. The important thing of QoS is that response time of service is transparently suggested 'to network users. We can know the response time of service using the information of network latency, system latency, and software component latency, In this paper, we carried out the modeling of network latency and analyzed the effects of packets loss to the network latency, Also, we showed the effectiveness of modeling using the NS-2. This research can help to provide the effective methods in case of SLA(Service Level Agreement) agreement between service provider and user.

  • Recently, with the development of ubiquitous computing, the study and development about context awareness models is required for the application of ubiquitous environment. This paper presents the design and implementation of a matrix based context awareness model for vehicle environment. The matrix construction method using 5W1H and CAM (Context Awareness Model) expression is proposed for context awareness modeling. The system with the proposed model is implemented by Zigbee modules for the recognition of individual identification and position and a navigator for current spatial and temporal information of GPS. The result of experiments shows that the proposed model is available.

  • In this paper, the Square Split Ring Resonator(: SRR) of Defected Ground Structure(: DGS), applicable to MMIC(: Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) design, is proposed. The mathematical method to solve the equivalent parameter of the resonator from the measured results of resonator is introduced in this paper. To verify the method, SRR-DGS resonator with 2.95 GHz center frequency is fabricated, for measuring characteristics and calculating the equivalent parameter. The result from this process is compared with the data of the ADS simulation, and as a result both were identical.

  • This paper presents the cure kinetics studies on the cure reaction of thermosetting resin. Above all, change in degree of cure and specific heat capacity according to temperature are observed using DSC and MDSC. The results are analyzed by cure kinetics and specific heat capacity model. Glass transition temperature was also measured to apply to the specific heat capacity model. Model parameters were gained from the modeling result. As a result, behavior of specific heat capacity can be calculated mathematically.

  • The frequency dependent input resistance observed in RF MOSFETs is analyzed in detail by deriving pole and zero frequency equations from a simplified input equivalent circuit. Using this theoretical analysis, we find that the reduction effect of the input resistance in the low frequency region arises from the channel resistance between source and pinch-off region in the saturation region. This channel resistance effect on the low frequency reduction of the input resistance is physically validated by performing small-signal equivalent circuit modeling with varying the channel resistance.

  • This paper presents a methodology for recovering the industrial radiographic images from the effects of nonlinear distortion. Analytical approach based on the inverse square law and Beer's law is developed in order to improve a mathematic model of nonlinear type. The geometric effect due to dimensions of the radioactive source appeals on the digitized images. The relation that expresses parameters values(angle, position, absorption coefficient, length, width and pixel account) is defined in this model, matching with the sample image. To perform the search for image recovery most similar to the model, a correction procedure is designed. The application of this method on the radiographic images of steel tubes is shown and recovered results are discussed.

  • 셀 내의 모바일 노드들의 수가 많고 셀 간의 이동이 빈번한 고속 모바일 네트워크에서는 기존 802.11 프로토콜로는 좋은 성능을 보장할 수 없다. 셀 내에 새로 진입한 노드들은 네트워크에 참여하기 위해 자신의 존재 여부를 알려야 한다. 802.11 표준에서는 이러한 선행되어야 할 작업을 스캐닝, 인증, 결합의 3가지 단계로 규정한다. 이 등록 작업은 셀 내의 다른 데이터 패킷을 보내려는 노드들과의 경쟁을 통해 이루어진다. 그러므로 셀 내의 노드 수가 많을 경우 기본적인 통신을 위해 선행되어야 할 등록 작업이 지연될 수 있다. 802.11 표준에서는 DCF 방식을 기본 매체 접근 프로토콜로 한다. DCF는 BEB (Binary Exponential Backoff) 알고리즘을 기반으로 한다. BEB 알고리즘의 여러 문제점[5]으로 이를 대체할 알고리즘이 연구되어왔으며, 그룹화를 통해 경쟁하는 노드의 수를 줄이는 방법도 고려되었다. 본 논문에서는 802.11의 성능 평가를 위한 모델링에 Markov chain을 이용한 논문[1]을 기반으로 하나의 노드가 등록 작업에 소요하는 평균 시간을 해석적으로 계산하였다. 셀 내의 전체 노드 수에 증가함에 따라 등록 시간을 계산하고, 직접 시뮬레이션을 통해 수식으로 얻어진 결과와 비교하였다. 또한 그룹화를 시뮬레이션 하여 전체 노드 수에 따라서 적절한 그룹 수의 조정이 그룹화하지 않았을 경우보다 더 나은 성능을 보여줄 수 있다는 것을 보였다.
