  • Open Innovation is expanding worldwide as a new paradigm for technology development strategy to maximize return on investment of R&D according to recent change in knowledge environment. Although the interest in Open Innovation is increasing in domestic ground, the actual circumstance of domestic research and study regarding Open Innovation are insufficient. This study on case indicates what types of preparation and consideration are needed to enforce Open Innovation as a means of important technology development strategy through certain processes, which are applied to a new product in terms of management of technology.

A Study on the Intelligent Electronic Device for Non-Linear Loads (비선형 부하에 적용이 가능한 IED에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the IED(Intelligent Electronic Devices) with the consideration of harmonic problems is discussed, With significant development of power electronics technology, the proliferation of a nonlinear load has more deteriorated power quality, As continuous harmonic current makes for a shortening lifetime, overheat and abnormal operation, it should be considered to improve these problems. However, the conventional digital protective relay which eliminates harmonic elements with orthogonal filter has a defect on actually implementation. The prototype IED is constructed with Digital Signal Processor(TMS320C32) and Complex Programmable Logic Device. According to the experiment and simulation results, it is proved that the proposed system has good performance of measuring harmonic factors and protecting electrical equipment.

  • 최근 경량화, 리사이클성, 기기의 소형화, 내환경성 등의 이점을 가지고 있는 알루미늄 합금이 여러 분야서 재인식 되고 있다. 그러나 이런 알루미늄 합금이 부식 환경에 노출 될 경우 음력부식균열이 발생할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 음력부식균열의 발생은 알루미늄의 기계적 특성에 안 좋은 영향을 미치므로 제품의 품질저하, 수명 단축, 효율저하, 재해발생 등 직간접적으로 광범위한 피해를 입게 되기에 부식에 대한 많은 연구가 진행이 되고 있다. 이 중에 고비강도용 알루미늄 압출소재인 Al 6xxx계 합금의 열처리 및 조성 변화에 따른 음력부식 균열의 거동에 대해 연구하였다. 응력부식균열 시험은 SSRT시험으로 많이 하고 있는데, 이 시험은 인장시편을 부식 환경 하에 노출하면서 천천히 일정한 변형속도로 당기는 시험이다. 본 연구에서는 Strain rate를 ${10^{-6}}s^{-1}$ 부식용액은 1M-NaCl + 0.6M-$Na_{2}SO_{4}$ + 0.3%-$H_{2}O_{2}$을 사용하여 시험을 하였다. 그러나 시험에 대한 분석은 Tafel polarization curve, SEM, OMS를 이용하였다.

  • The highspeed railway bridge which support continuous and high moving mass evalute the dynamic state and make the displacement of the bridge makes more or less, but up to this time the bridges are designed by the static design concept. for example when we design bridge we use impact factor, which only times the static load makes dynamic load. But becouse it simples. it can't express all of the effects. And so, in this report we study the modeling method of the moving mass and the dynamic factor.

  • NiO is commonly used as the cathode for the molten carbonate fuel cell due to its stability and high electrical conductivity in molten carbonates and oxygen atmosphere. However, long-term operation of MCFC has a serious problem which is the degradation of cathode material, the so-called Ni dissolution. In the present study, we have attempted to synthesize a new alternative cathode material as Co/Nb-coated NiO cathode. The results obtained in this study suggest that the Co/Nb-coated NiO cathode can be utilized as having lower dissolution and higher cell performance than those of the pure NiO cathode.

  • 기계가공으로 인한 사고는 작업자에게 치명적인 경우가 많다. 이러한 사고는 완벽한 가공지그을 통해 대부분 예방이 가능하지만 제품설계초기 후가공과 양산 공정은 고려되지 않고 설계되어 기계가공 시 재해로 연결되는 경우가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 사형주조법은 수작업으로 손쉽게 제품을 생산하는 장점을 가지는 반면 치수오차가 다른 양산공정 보다 크다는 단점을 가진다. 이런 사형 주조품을 기계 가공할 때 제품의 치수편차로 인해 불안전한 고정및 과다한 절삭, 제품이탈, 공구파손, 장비와 공구의 빠른 수명감소 등의 다양한 문제가 발생 하지만 사형주조의 특성상 개선하기 어려운 문제로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 원형의 용기형태의 제품을 사형주조 후 기계가공 하는 것을 금형으로 대체하기 위한 셸몰드법을 제시하고 셸몰드로 만든 셸주형으로 주조함으로서 표면조도 평균 $Ra9.94{\mu}m$의 기계가공에 준하는 표면을 구현하였다. 외형의 정밀한 제품을 대량 생산하여 가공공정의 간소화 및 평균 두께 편차를 줄임으로서 제품파손 및 제작 시 발생할 수 있는 안전사고예방에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 기계가공전 제품의 치수정밀도를 높여 안전성, 생산성향상, 가공 공정단축, 환경개선 등을 이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • The importance of maintenance of rail surface defects is increasing more according to the KTX operation. That is because during high speed operation of rolling stock, rail surface defects may cause shortened fatigue life of rail, acceleration of track degradation and reduced ride comfort. The paper was intended to study the establishment of rail grinding criteria of high-speed railway lines considering the KTX operation circumstances. For this, the specimens of UIC 60 rail on Kyeong-Bu high-speed operation lines were collected and they were tested for metallographic structure and measured for the hardness. As the factors affecting RCF causing the defects of rail surface, passing tonnage, running speed and track condition are considered.

A Study on the Optimization of Heat Dissipation in Flip-chip Package (플립칩 패키지의 열소산 최적화 연구)

  • According to advance of electronic packaging technology, electronic package becomes smaller. Miniaturization of package causes the temperature rise of package. This can degrade life of electronic device and generate the failure of electronic system. In this study, we proposed a new semi-embedded structure with micro pattern for maximizing heat dissipation. A proposed structure showed the characteristics which have maximum temperature lower than $20^{\circ}C$ compared with conventional structure. And also, in view of thermal stress and strain, our structure showed a remarkably low value compared with other ones. We expect that the new structure proposed in this work can be applied to an flip-chip package of the future.

Nonlinear Effects on the Cable Dynamic Behaviour (케이블의 동적거동에 미치는 비선형 영향)

  • The effects on the dynamic behaviour of the geometric nonlinearity and large dynamic tensile forces occurring in hostile sea environments must be investigated for assessing extreme tensions and fatigue life expectancy of cable. In this paper, the combined effects on the cable dynamic responses are shown through comparisons between numerical solutions to the cable dynamic equations with geometric nonlinearity and large tensile force terms as well as nonlinear drag term and those to the cable equations with only nonlinear drag term. It is found that, in steady state, the cambined effects increase the maximum dynamic tension and reduce the magnitude of the minimum of the dynamic tension at the middle of the cable. This decrease together with the increase of the maximum dynamic tension, cause the average tension to become higher and, therefore, it may deteriorate the cable fatigue life.

  • The nitrogen adsorption method was used to evaluate the change fine pore structure of concrete under high temperature. The mechanical properties and chloride ion diffusion coefficient were also measured. Two dimension FEM model for the life expectancy of RC structure was built considering the effect of high temperature. The porosity under 0.01${\mu}m$ decreased in proportion to the temperature. However, that of $0.01{\mu}m{\sim}0.1{\mu}m$ increased. The strength decreased and the chloride ion diffusion coefficient increased in the temperature range of $200{\sim}600^{\circ}C$.
