Estimating Economic Values of Parcel Service Attributes (택배 서비스 속성별 경제적 가치 추정)

  • The objective of this paper is to quantify economic values of parcel service attributes (safety, reliability, quickness, and kindness and customer service) using the contingent choice method and to investigate impact factors (such as sex, age, and education), which influence choice of desirable parcel services. As empirical results, the marginal willingness-to-pay for multiple attributes of parcel service is calculated as about 2,349.6 KRW for the safety attribute, about 829.3 KRW for the reliability attribute, about 588.5 KRW for the quickness attribute, and about 358.8 KRW for the kindness and customer service attribute, according to the estimation model without covariates. The overall results indicate that the safety attribute ranks highest among parcel service attributes, followed by the reliability attribute, quickness attribute, and kindness and customer service attribute. These results can be useful in the decision-making process for establishing desirable pricing policies for parcel service.

Estimating Attributes Value of Alternatives Applied for Rehabilitation of Hydrologic Cycle of the Anyangcheon Watershed (물순환 건전화 대안 적용을 위한 안양천의 속성별 가치추정)

  • In recent years, a growing concern exists in watershed and stream improvement projects. Under these circumstances, this paper estimates monetary value of the attributes of alternatives for rehabilitation of hydrologic cycle using choice experiments. Choice experiments shows vivid image and estimates a willingness to pay based on their preference for environmental goods. A preliminary survey shows that the attributes of the Anyangcheon watershed are flood-damage possibilities, Instreamflow, water quality, river characteristic and estimates the tax for the Anyangcheon watershed improvements. We surveyed 200 citizens were selected as samples of watershed beneficing in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and used conditional logit model to analyze the implicit values of the attributive per household. The benefit of the attributes by province based on the implicit price obtained from estimated parameters were calculated. This study is expected to contribute to the decision-making process for policy-makers by providing useful methodological framework and quantitative information related to watershed improvement projects.

A New Test of Attribute Significance for Nonparametric Conjoint Models (컨조인트 모형의 속성 유의성을 검증하기 위한 새로운 비모수통계 검증법)

  • A new chi-square test is proposed to assess significance of attributes for nonparametric conjoint models. The key idea is to form subsets of rankings and test the dependence between the attribute levels and the sets of rankings. The null hypothesis states that the rankings for profiles with the focal attribute are distributed randomly among the sets of rankings. The approach is simple, easy to use, and can be applied at the individual level as well as at the aggregate level. It can be used for the trade-off approach as well as for the full profile approach.

A Comparison Study between Korean and Foreign Shipping Liners on Logistics Service Attributes and Capability (국적선사와 외국적선사의 물류서비스 속성과 역량에 관한 비교 연구)

  • In order to obtain and maintain competitive advantage, under rapidly changing maritime environment, liners should make efforts to reinforce their logistics service capabilities. Most of all, for this, shipping lines should accurately recognize and evaluate their logistics service attributes. In the present research, various logistics service attributes for ocean carriers were selected from previous studies and the observed data for 6 main service attributes were collected through a questionnaire survey to 31 maritime experts. Moreover, shipping lines' relative logistics service capabilities were measured by an additional survey process. The comparative gravity between core evaluation factors were measured by AHP technique and the relative capability levels of 2 Korean liners and 5 foreign shipping companies were assessed by utilizing a fuzzy model. The empirical result presents that Korean liners are superior at customer service capability but inferior at freight rate competitiveness. This research shows that Korean liners are ranked at high position for overall logistics service capabilities and focusing on the differentiation strategy but not on the cost related strategy.

  • 차량 항법 장치의 인간-기계 인터페이스의 중요한 구성요소인 전자지도에서 운전자가 경로를 선택하고 자신의 현 위치를 파악하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 랜드마크는 현재 표준화나 인간 공학적인 요소가 고려된 설계가 이뤄지지 않고 있는 실정이며 개발 회사마다 각기 독립적인 개발이나 종이 지도의 제작 표준에 의해 제작되고 있다. 이는 운전자에게 일관성 및 양립성의 결여 및 안전에 대한 문제 발생의 가능성을 내포하고 있으며, 운전자와 도로의 안전에 직결되는 중요한 문제이다. 이에 본 연구는 운전자가 편하고 빠르게 랜드마크를 인지할 수 있게 디자인 속성 조합을 도출하여 상용화된 전자지도와의 비교를 통하여 속성 각 수준별 조합의 인지능력 평가와 그 결과를 분석해 랜드마크 제작의 가이드라인으로 제시한다. 분석결과는 랜드마크의 속성은 색, 그래픽 차원, 형태, 중복 명명, 복수 색 사용, 외곽선 사용시가 가장 최적 속성 조합으로 나타났다.

Comparison of Quality Characteristics in $\textit{Kochujang}$ prepared with Thermoase during Fermentation (Thermoase를 이용한 속성고추장의 품질 특성)

  • 알칼리성 protease의 일종인 thermoase를 선택하여 다양한 배합비로 고추장을 담금하고, 각 담금별 품질 특성에 대해 조사한 결과, 적정산도는 및 환원당 함량은 개량메주로 담금한 고추장(control)에서 높았다. 아미노태 질소 함량은 thermoase를 0.1% 이상 첨가한 고추장( II ~ V )에서 숙성 30~40일경에 최고 440.23~599.75mg%로, 속성발효 진행을 확인할 수 있었다. 속성고추장의 색상은 숙성이 진행됨에 따라 밝은 적색에서 어두운 암적색으로 변화하였으나 효소제에 따른 일정한 경향은 나타나지 않았다. 각 고추장의 점도는 숙성기간이 경과 될수록 증가 추세였으며, 고추장(IV, V )는 묽어지는 경 향을 나타내었다. 이와 같은 결과를 고려할 때 속성고추장 담금에 적합한 ther-moase 첨가수준은 0.15~0.2%로 사료되었다.

  • 인터넷은 이미 생활의 한 부분이 되었으며 그 중에서 인터넷을 통한 전자상거래가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 전자상거래는 판매자가 일방적으로 제시하는 조건(가격)에 구매자는 단순히 거래를 하거나, 제시된 조건을 비교하여 보다 더 좋은 조건을 찾는 수준에 머물러 있으나 향후 전자상거래는 어느 한쪽의 일방적 제시가 아닌 서로의 이익을 최대화 할 수 있는 협상(negotiation)이 필수적이다. 본 논문은 시간제약 환경에서 다중속성을 이용한 협상 모델을 제안하며, 협상에서 고려되는 다중 속성들에 대해 각 에이전트들의 속성 값 변경과 서로의 제안 값 선택 전략을 제시하게 되고, 동일한 형태의 협상 메커니즘별로 두 에이전트간의 협상을 통해 제안한 협상 모델을 평가 한다.

Prior Industry Experience, Product Attributes and Online Customer Review on New Product Sales: TV Products on Chinese Online Shopping (이전사업경험, 제품속성 및 온라인 고객평가가 제품 매출성과에 미치는 영향: 중국 온라인 쇼핑몰내 TV제품 중심으로)

  • This paper examines the effects of prior industry experience, new product attributes and online customer review on new product sales. Different from prior researches on the volume and valence of customer review on online shopping, this paper investigated multiple factors on new product sales in online shopping mall. Based on 407 TV new products in China online shopping mall, we investigated the relationships of kew factors with new products sales. New products of Incumbent TV manufacturers outsell those of new entrants in TV market. Low initial price and low level of discount rate have positive relationships with new product sales. Technological superiority has positive effect on new product sales but the adoptions of new technological functions show different effects on sales. The volume of online consumer review also has positive relationship with new product sales. This paper suggest some theoretical and practical implications and future research directions.

A Study on the Value Analysis of School Forest (학교숲 속성별 가치평가 연구)

  • This study intends to analyze the value of school forests, one type of urban forest. For this purpose, four attributes of school forests were investigated, considering ecological, educational, social and economic values using a conjoint model as the stated preference. Based on literature reviews, the levels of the four attributes were selected, and a questionnaire survey was given to 279 urban residents divided into 2 groups: those impacted by school forests and those not. The study results suggest that the most important attribute of school forests is economic value, and next is ecological, social and educational value according to the part-worth model. The fitness level of the model is 0.900(total group) which is very significant. As for the economic value, free and 1,000 won are more critical factors than the other 2 levels, 5,000 won and 10,000 won and air pollution purification and making the school landscape are more critical factors than small habitats and microclimate factors. In addition, regarding the social value related to residents' leisure activities,the utility of nature observation is higher than walking and exercising. Finally, for educational value, understanding nature's importance is more critical than the emotions and learning of students. The estimated WTP per household/month is 3,580 won, the group related to school forestsis 3,650 won and the non-related group is 3,540 won. Based on these results, the estimated total economic value of all households per year is 6,820 hundred million won. The group related to school forests is 6,970 hundred million won and the non-related group is 6,750 hundred million won.

Research on Adoption and Preference of 5G using Learning Service (5G 교육 서비스의 채택과 선호에 관한 연구: 대학생을 중심으로)

  • This study commercialization of 5G will enable transformation of university education. This study identifies five attributes (device type, learning place, learning content, learning field and expense payment) and corresponding levels to study the impact of 5G in the future of university education. The attributes and the levels are then combined into few 5G education service alternatives for respondents to rank. 102 students ranked the alternatives based on their preferences and intent to use. Results indicate that the intent to use 5G-based education service was high with 86% and the most important factor was expense payment (37%), followed by learning field (26%), learning content (24%), device type (8%) and learning place (5%). Specifically, students preferred smart device, practical and experiential content, ubiquitous (no limitation of space and time) learning, practical education and free rate when adopting 5G-based education service. These will provide implications to accelerate adoption of and exploitation of 5G for innovating university education.
