소프트 스위칭 모드에 의한 고역률의 AC-DC 강압형 컨버터 토폴로지 (AC-DC buck converter topology of high power factor with soft switching mode)

  • This paper proposed that a AC-DC Converter topology of high power factor with soft switching mode operates with four chopper connecting a number of parallel circuit. To improve these, a large number of soft switching topologies included a resonant circuit have been proposed. And, some simulative results on computer is included to confirm the validity of the analytical results. The partial resonant circuit makes use of a inductor using step up and a condenser of loss-less snubber. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of system is high. And the snubber condenser used in partial resonant circuit makes charging engergy regenerated at input power source for resonant operation. The proposed conversion system is deemed the most suitable for high power applications where the power switching devices are used.

  • The conventional high frequency phase-shifted full bridge dc/dc converter has a disadvantage that a circulating current flows through transformer and switching devices during the freewheeling interval. Due to this circulating current, RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices are increased. To alleviate this problem, this paper provides a circulating current free type high frequency soft switching phase-shifted full bridge (FB) dc/dc converter with energy recovery snubber (ERS) attached at the secondary side of transformer. The energy recovery snubber (ERS) adopted in this study is consisted of three fast recovery diode(Ds1, DS2, Ds3), two resonant capacitor (Cs1, Cs2)

  • In this paper, we report the experimental results of the novel Soft-Switching DC-DC converter and synchronous rectifier The experimental converter, that has a output voltage 3.3V, output current 20A, maximum power of 66W, switching frequency of 100kHz and input voltage range of 44-52V, has been successfully implemented. As a result, in the entire voltage range the measured full load efficiency was above 90$\%$, and the output voltage was regulated at 3.3V within ${\pm}3{\%}$ tolerance.

  • Recently the PDP is the most remarkable media for a next generation display device. In this paper, we proposed the PDP dedicated DC-DC converter using a new soft switching method because the PDP has a lot of power dissipation so we need to develope. The proposed converter using one transformer has soft switching and a advantage to lower voltage stress in switch and also is predicted to have high power efficiency. we proposed the principles and theory using the zero voltage switching and verified the validity through a simulation.

  • This paper is concerned with a zero-voltage soft-switching PWM DC-DC high-pelter converter using IGBTs, which Bakes the most of the parastic LC parameters of high-voltage transformer link, for diagnostic X-Ray power generator. The converter circuit basically utilizes phase-shift pulse width modulated series resonant full-bridge PWM DC-DC high-Power converter operating at a constant frequency:20kHz. This technique brings about dramatic decreases in the switching losses of power devices and their electrical stresses as compared with the commonly-used hard-switching PWM DC-DC power converter. The high-frequency switching operation of the converters has some effective advantages, which consist in the physical reduction in size and weight and lowered acoustic noise.

  • In this paper proposes the soft-switching boost converter and MPPT control for improving the efficiency of PV system. The proposed converter designed H-bridge auxiliary resonant circuit. By this circuit, all of the switching devices perform the soft switching under the zero voltage and zero current condition. Therefore the periodic switching losses can be decreased at turn on, off. The soft switching boost converter designs for 1.5[kW] solar module of the power conversion. Thus, this soft switching boost converter is simulated by MATLAB simulation using Newton-Method algorithm. As a result, Proposed Soft Switching Converter compared to a typical boost converter switching loss was reduced about 61%. And the overall system efficiency was verified to increase about 3.3%.

  • 이 논문에서 정 전압형 PFC 전자식 안정기에 대하여 제안하였다. 제안하는 PFC 전자식 안정기는 고효율 승압형 컨버터와 기존의 하프브리지 인버터를 조합한 것이다. 제안된 PFC 전자식 안정기는 전압 분압기와 소프트 스위칭기술을 사용하여 입력전류의 왜형과 입력전류의 고조파가 감소됨을 증명하였다. 형광램프에 대한 시뮬레이션결과는 이론적인 분석과 일치함을 나타내었다.

  • New grid connected PV system of high-frequency link with soft-switching is proposed to solve problems related with transformer and switching loss. The operation of suggested equipment using the soft switching that consists of high frequency transformer is confirmed by computer simulation and experiment that it can improve its efficiency and solve the problems mentioned above.

  • A new soft switching boost converter is proposed in this paper. The conventional boost converter generates switching losses at turn on and off. Because of that, the whole system efficiency is reduced. The proposed converter utilizes soft switching method using an auxiliary switch and resonant circuit. Thus, the converter reduces switching losses lower than ones of hard switching method. The proposed soft switching boost converter can be applied to photovoltaic system, power factor correction circuit and so on.
