Demand for Silver Products Versus Lifestyle Among Elderly Consumers (노인소비자의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 실버상품 수요에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an understanding of older consumers' lifestyle, and to provide the basic information for developing silver commodities and, in turn, to stimulate the silver industry which has received attention as a next-generation industry. The study divided elderly consumers into four lifestyle categories and analyzed the difference in demographic characteristics among these categories as well as differences in demand for silver products. Data were collected with questionnaire and analyzed with frequency analysis, factor analysis, K-means cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, and a $x^2$ test using SPSS 15.0. Four different lifestyles categories were identified among elderly consumers : conservative and stability oriented (22 persons, 33.3% of the sample), progressive and relation oriented (22 persons, 15.0%), reality adapted (52 persons, 35.4%), and traditional (24 persons, 16.4%). The demand for silver products demands was significantly different among elderly consumers in the four different lifestyle groups.

A Study on Consumer Satisfaction according to Fashion Life Style on the Internet Shopping (인터넷상에서 패션 라이프스타일에 따른 소비자 만족요인에 관한 연구)

  • To investigate the factors that contribute to consumer satisfaction with the purchase of clothing, questionnaires were distributed and then consumer groups were classified according to their fashion life style on the internet shopping. The results were as follows: 1. Consumers groups were classified into trendy, Indifferent, brand inclined, conservative, and practicality- minded group by the fashion life style of the internet users. 2. From the analysis of the satisfaction factors on the internet clothing shopping, the factors were product variety, shopping convenience, customer service, confidence in order filling. 3. The most important consumer satisfaction factors according to the fashion life style were as follows: the trendy group considered the variety of clothing design most important. As for the Indifferent group, the tn, diversified collection of the products, and the convenience of unlimited time and space access that the internet site provided, were highly appreciated. With regard to the brand-inclined group, the presentation of product information and the convenience of unlimited time and space factors were highly appreciated. For the conservative group, the time and space factor were highly regarded, As far as the practicality-minded group was concerned, product price and size, the convenience of unlimited time and space access, and punctual delivery schedule were focused.

A Study on Brand Trust of Color Cosmetics According to Lifestyle of 20~40s Woman Consumer (여성 소비자의 라이프스타일에 따른 색조화장품의 브랜드 신뢰에 관한 연구 -20~40대 소비자를 중심으로-)

  • This study explores the attributes of the color cosmetic products and prices, and their effects on the brand trust. In doing so, our sample population has been segmented according to their lifestyle on color cosmetic to understand the group differences. Based on the previous researches, we have chosen four important characteristics of the customer's lifestyle. The number of iteration on factor analysis revealed that our sample population can be formed into three different groups. The significant group differences resulted on the following study variables; the product functionality, the product fragrance/color, the product vessel design, the price value, the price information, the price rationality. Also, from the product aspect, the product functionality, the product fragrance/color, the product vessel design, explained the significant portion of the Y variance. While, on the aspect of price, the value, the rationality, and information in order, significantly contributed on the brand trust.

Green Consumption Behavior According to the Lifestyles of College Students (대학생 소비자의 라이프스타일에 따른 녹색소비행동에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined green consumption behavior according to the lifestyles of college students. The data were collected from 314 college students in Yeungnam region by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, factor analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square tests, one-way analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range tests, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analyses were conducted by SPSS Windows V.18.0. According to the result of factor analysis, lifestyles were categorized into six factors: thrift-saving type, enthusiastic activity type, brand ostentation type, freedom-seeking type, material oriented type, and practice-seeking type. Cluster analysis showed respondents belonged to one of four groups: thrift practice group, indifference group, freedom-seeking group, and material ostentation group. The levels of green purchase behavior, green usage behavior and green disposal behavior of the respondents was not high. The thrift practice group showed higher levels of green purchase behavior, green usage behavior, and green disposal behavior. Finally, according to multiple regression analyses, environmental consciousness, knowledge about green consumption, lifestyle groups were the significant factors affecting green consumption behaviors. These results imply that green consumption education for college students should be activated to induce green life.

Lifestyles and Clothing Values of Male Consumers (남성소비자들의 라이프스타일에 따른 의복가치)

  • The study sought to determine the relationship between lifestyles and clothing values of male consumers. A questionnaire was administered to male consumers in their twenties and thirties and data from 334 respondents were used for the factor analysis. Results indicated that lifestyles of male consumers were classified into venturesome, fashion-seeking, self-fulfilling, self-centered, IT-interest, and leadership. With these lifestyle sub-dimensions, male consumers were segmented into four groups: technology seekers, active trend setters, self achievers, and passive observers. Demographic differences were found in age and clothing expense among these groups. Technology seekers value comfortable-ness, ease of care and versatility; active trend setters value symbolic aspects, emotion, fashion, and confidence; self achievers value versatility and ease of owe: and passive observers value comfortable-ness and ease of care among many clothing values.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the need for smart home service based on the lifestyle of a rapidly growing single household. When we compare the need and the arbitrary service according to the pattern of the lifestyle of the consumer, we try to analyze whether there is an effect on the future use. In the questionnaire survey of 1 person, 8 questions were selected such as food, state, line, leisure, communication, consumption, mobile life, Single household characterization question should be added so that concrete measures can be presented to future services. Competitive smart home services will be presented by examining the lifestyle of the 20th and 30th generation of single households, It is intended to be used as basic data on the direction of development of smart home service of the rapidly increasing single person households, and it is aimed to be a direction of improvement and development direction of the existing plan.

Effects of Chinese Consumer lifestyles on perceived value, purchase intention, and satisfaction of Korean medium & low price cosmetics (중국 소비자 라이프스타일이 한국 중·저가 화장품의 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • Chinese economic growth and Chinese adoption of foreign cultures have changed varied phenomena, consumption patterns and consumer life-styles, in particular. In order to understand behavior of Chinese consumers, it is critical to explore their lifestyles and its effects on their purchase behavior. For attaining this goal, our research classifies Chinese consumer lifestyles related to cosmetics, into four types: brand oriented, price sensitive, rational consumption, and impulse buying. The research further analyzes the effects of consumer lifestyles on perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention in each case of skin care cosmetics and make-up cosmetics. Significant difference are found in perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention of skin care cosmetics exists between brand-oriented type and rational consumption type. This is also the case between rational consumption type and impulse buying type. Purchase intention is only found to be different between rational consumption type and price sensitive type. In case of make-up cosmetics, significant differences in perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention in the pairs of brand-oriented type and rational consumption type, rational consumption type and impulse buying type, and rational consumption type and price sensitive type. This implies rational consumption type should be more appropriate target consumers in the Chinese cosmetics market.

A Study on Consumer Eating out Purchases in Accordance with the Food Lifestyle - Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Consumer Culture - (식생활 라이프스타일에 따른 외식소비자의 구매의도에 관한 영향 연구 - 소비문화를 조절변수로 -)

  • This research was conducted over four weeks from February 1, 2016 until Februay 29. Results were as follows. First, the effects of dietary lifestyle on the purchase intention of consumers was significant and postive, while food flavors (B=0.019 (p<.001)) and convenience (B=0.055 (p<.001)) had a significant and negative effect. To determine the coefficient to measure the adequacy of the model was explained 64.9% of variation in 0.649 premise, the model with F=187.244 (p<.001) to verify the significance level. Second, the moderating effects of consumer culture on the proposed realtionship was examined in 3 stages. The Stage 1 model found a significant effect (0.649, F=18.244 (p<0.01)). The Stage 2 model increased predictive power with the addition of "consumer culture" and was also significant(65.1% and F=142.119 (p<0.01)). The Stage 3 model increased the explanatory power due to the addition of 'lifestyle and found a significant moderating effect of 'Eating consumer culture' (65.9%, so for F=84.469 (p<0.01)).

An Analysis of Influential Factors from Continuous Use by Mobil Game Users : Lifestyle under Gender and Nationality (모바일게임 이용자의 지속사용 영향요인분석: 성별과 국적에 따른 라이프스타일을 중심으로)

  • Lifestyle is an important variable to understand consumer behavior because it is a lifestyle that is common to all members of society or some members of society. so In this study, the survey has been performed on adult mobile game users over the age of 20 in Korea and China to evaluate the correlation between lifestyle and will of continuous use of game by mobile game users, and the hierarchical multiple regression analysis has been performed on the collected data by using the statistical package program SPSS 20.0. There were total 212 respondents with the gender ratio of 50:50, and 107 respondents were Korean, and 105 respondents were Chinese. As a result of study, first, regardless of lifestyle, more male and more Chinese respondents showed higher will of continuous use. Second, among mobile game user lifestyles, the challenge-oriented, trend-oriented, conservative, and ostentatious lifestyles could become significant causal variables for the will of continuous use of game. Yet, the influence of such lifestyle was not correlated with individual genders or nationalities. The result of this study will be provided as the basic data to establish the strategic solution for companies and government policies for entrance into the mobile game market of China in the future.
