The aim of the study intends to investigate the fire safety awareness level of the young children's parents in Seoul and to provide the base data in the education for the fire safety. The results of the study are as follows. The young children's parents consider the fire safety awareness level of our society low, though their fire safety awareness level be above the average. The young children's parents choose infants schools as appropriate place to receive education for fire safety. And the young children's parents consider the development and diffusion of fire-safety teaching materials for young children to be supplied first of all. Also the young children's parents recognized observation learning and a field trip activity as appropriate teaching-learning method for fire-safety education.

국민안전처는 2016년 국민의 생활안전 기반 강화를 위한 정책으로 맞춤형 소방안전교육과 소방안전 문화 확산을 위한 정책을 추진하고 소방안전 교육체제 마련을 위해 소방안전교육 방안을 계획 중이다. 이는 우리사회의 안전에 대한 문제점을 개선하기 위한 방안으로 본 연구가 선행되어진 이유이기도 하다. 현재 안전교육이 시행되고 있으나 실제현장과 같은 상황을 체험할 수 없으며 교육에 대한 이해와 만족도도 기초적인 수준이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제 해결을 위한 효과적인 대안으로 VR(Virtual Reality) 소방체험교육콘텐츠를 개발한다. 이는 화재진압과 대피훈련을 가상공간에서 체험하는 것을 목적으로 1)안전한 소방체험 환경제공 2)흥미를 유발할 수 있는 UI(user interface)제공 3)체험교육으로 소방교육현장에서 활용 4)예산 절감의 경제적 효과를 기대할 수 있다.

This study intends to raise the fire safety awareness level which the teachers have in infant schools. The results of the study are as follows. The early childhood teachers consider the fire safety awareness level of our society low, though their fire safety awareness level be above the average. The education program for the fire safety is mapped out and the teachers prefer an observation class and a field trip for the program in almost infant schools. The early childhood teachers have difficulty acquiring the knowledge for the field experience and work and getting teaching aids for the fire safety. Therefore the early childhood teachers extremely much desire teaching aids for infants to be developed and diffused.

The purpose of this study is to help the education of fire safety in elementary schools be given effectively by teachers through the investigation of their recognition on fire safety. To achieve the purpose, 203 elementary school teachers in Yeongju city were interviewed for 5 days from Sep. 5 to 9, 2003. The results of this study are as follows; Teachers recognized the education of fire safety to be very necessary, but they gave less consequence to it relatively and classes for fire safety were done quite a little in actual education. Teachers put the traffic safety on the top in the list of safety education and play safety, facility safety and fire safety follows it in order. Teachers stated lack of interest (36.0%), lack of material and class hours(31.5%) for the difficulty of the fire safety education and they recognized that a fire safety expert's lecture(62.1 ％) and development and propagation of teaching material were required for the efficient fire safety education.

The purpose of this study is to deal with fire fighting safety education primarily among the fields of child safety education. So, first of all, this study considered the theoretical background of fire fighting safety education. And this study analyzed the present state and cases of safety accidents in elementary schools. And by focusing on the fire fighting science class for elementary schools which Gyeonggi-do Goyang fire station is executing now, this study analyzed the educational outline, present state, educational goal, and content of fire fighting science class, and conducted the satisfaction survey through questionnaire over the elementary school students participating in fire fighting science class and the fire fighting officers in charge of fire fighting science class. On basis of this research, by developing the new field of fire fighting education and publicity into the program which can diffuse the fire fighting-related chemical experiment based on the science of chemistry and physics in the future and so provide the pleasure and surprise of experiencing directly not only natural fire fighting education and publicity but also learning and the common sense of fire fighting, this study tried to present the alternatives about the measures for activating the fire fighting safety education in elementary schools.

The Ministry of Public Safety and Security plans to expand fire safety education infrastructure to provide customized fire safety education, spread fire safety culture and develop a tailored fire safety education system as a part of the 2016 Citizens' Safety Improvement Policy. This study has also been designed to improve safety problems in the Republic of Korea. Even though safety education has been given, citizens aren't still able to experience a close-to-real situation. In addition, their understanding and satisfaction with the curriculum are very low. Therefore, this study offers VR fire-extinguishing experience education contents as an effective alternative. With a goal of having the participants experience fire extinguishing and evacuation drill in a virtual space, this program has the following advantages: i) safe fire-extinguishing experience; ii) UI to create fun ; iii) useful in fire-extinguishing education; iv) budget saving. we configure the VR fire experience system structure and hardware by applying UX design methodology. We also develop for VR-specific motion recognition plug-in and controller that can be feeling in HMD environment.

The purpose of this study is to help the education of fire safety of technical high schools through the investigation of skills club students's recognition on fire safety in Seoul city. To achieve the purpose, 56 skills students who going to skills competition were surveyed for 3days from Jun. 19 to 21, 2006. The Results of this study are as follows ; First, a large numbers of students in technical high school placed low value on the importance of safety in life, and fire safety was very important, however, lower than structural safety. Second, the education of fire safety was arranged by school authorities, carried out only by the half of these school. It was necessary that the specific education of fire safety for major and skills competition was hosted by a department. Third, it was necessary that the system all accidents were certainly reported by the related student and the method prevented a recurrence. 4th, the field of fire safety in Industrial Introduction subject of national curriculum was satisfied by students. And if this subject revised, students wanted to extend the contents of fire safety and to orient to practical technique.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of apartment residents' safety education satisfaction and the application of fire protection plans on fire safety awareness. The analysis results are as follows. First, the low levels of satisfaction with safety education content had a negative effect on anxiety about fire safety. This means that apartment residents' low levels of interest or participation in education affected their safety awareness, which prevented them from securing safety from fire. It is necessary for control staff to have a positive impact on their educational satisfaction via the learning support information system, among others, in order to create a satisfying education and safety culture. Second, competence in the execution of firefighting plans had a positive effect on fire safety awareness. These results indicate that apartment residents do not have the opportunity to access the education and training necessary for safety, nor the legal responsibility to complete mandatory safety education, which leads to their lack of safety awareness. Therefore, the control staff need to raise awareness of fire safety and the importance of participating in safety education among apartment residents by strengthening and activating the execution of firefighting plans in order to ensure safe living. Third, the competency of the firefighting plans moderated the effects of apartment residents' educational satisfaction on their awareness of fire safety.

현대사회가 발전 할수록 대량산업화와 도시화가 심화되어 건축물의 초고층화 및 대형화가 증가하고 있으며, 안전적인 건축물 보다는 건물 및 제조사업장의 시각적인 디자인에 치우쳐 화재하중이 높은 건축자재의 내 외장재 및 고급스러운 장식물을 사용함으로써 그 위험뿐 만 아니라 화재발생시 대규모 인명 및 재산상의 피해를 가져오게 된다. 그리고 제조사업장화재는 화재로 인한 직접적인 손실 즉 물적 손실은 물론 생산중단으로 인한 간접적인 손실은 실로 측정하기가 어렵다. 지금까지 발생한 제조사업장화재의 발화요인별 분석은 부주의, 전기적, 미상 순으로 인한 화재가 가장 많고 발화열원은 작동기기, 담뱃불(라이터), 마찰 전도 복사등이 주요 원인이 되고 있고 대형화제 취약시설로는 공장 및 창고로 나타나고 있다. 소방방재청의 통계자료를 살펴보면 2012년 화재 발생현황 중 발화요인에 대한 화재별 장소 건수를 검토 한 결과 비주거의 화재발생 16,009건 중 5,758건으로 (36%)부주의이고, 주거에도 화재발생 10,715건 중 5,560건으로 51.9%의 부주의로 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 제조사업장의 사소한 부주의로 발생하는 화재를 예방하기 위해서는 소방안전관리자의 처우개선과 기업활동규제완화의 겸직 허용을 재검토 하여야 하며, 소방안전관라자의 실무능력 강화를 위한 소방안전관리 실무교육과정을 이론적 교육 보다는 현장 실습위주로 할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해서는 소방안전관리자에 대한 법정 실무교육 횟수를 확대하여 현행 2년에 1회 에서 1년에 1회로 하고, 실무교육에 있어서도 우수송방안전관리 업체를 선정하여 화재예방에 대한 구체적인 업무를 활성화 하고, 문제 발생요소들을 분석하여 실습을 통한 소방안전관리자의 실무교육을 실시해야 할 것이다. 이러한 전문 소방안전관리자로 소방대상물의 소방교육 및 훈련을 성실히 수행 해야 할 것 이다. 한순간의 부주의로 인하여 화재가 발생하면 돌이킬 수 없는 수백명의 생명을 앗아가고, 수백억원대의 재산피해를 줄이기 위해서는 소방안전관리자의 역량을 넓히고 화재예방 업무를 최우선적으로 수행해야 할 것이다. 화재예방을 위해 소방안전관리자의 업무개선 및 전문교육을 활성화 하여 업무능력을 향상 시켜 화재발생시 초기진압에 신속하고 정확하게 대처해야 한다는 것이 전문적인 화재예방 대책 일 것이다.
