The purpose of this study is figure out secondary education undergraduates' communication patterns and perceptions of use in KAKAOTALK, one of the most frequently used Social Network Service(SNS). The mixed method research was conducted of survey about 86 students and in-depth interview 10 of them. The chief implication of research showed that it has been firstly functioning them to sustain public and private network and to be an universal tool of expression their opinion, idea, themselves, however, they still regard face-to-face communication important. Secondly, they think that KAKAOTALK is a part of their everyday lives and regarded a communication space to freely express themselves and to adjust and manage their image. Thirdly, they psychologically solved their loneliness and were encouraged, moreover, the contents of communication were different according to usd of public or private team chat room. It needs a follow-up study comparatively to analyze other generation's cognitive psychological values in SNS and to suggest digital culture literacy guideline.

Biometric user authentications, day after day, propagate more to human life instead of traditional systems which use passwords and ID cards. However, most of these systems have many problems for given biometric information such noisy data, low-quality data, a limitation of recognition rate, and so on. To deal with these problems, I used Dual QML which is non-linear classification for classifying correctly the real-world data and then proposed preprocessing method for increasing recognition rate and performance by segmenting a specific region on an image. The previous published Dual QML used face, palmprint, ear for the experiment. In this paper, I used iris for experiment and then proved excellence of Dual QML at iris recognition. Finally I demonstrated these results (e.g. increasing recognition rate and performance, suitability for iris recognition) through experiments.

Augmented Reality (AR) is a mix of the real world that is enhanced by virtual objects from computer-generated information. AR is currently used in a variety of information systems and library services. AR technologies are also being developed for today's children, who are digital natives and are exposed to various technologies even earlier. To assist librarians who need to accurately understand users' information needs and perceptions of the technology being used in their libraries, we conducted a study of AR perceptions among children. We conducted two online co-design sessions using "Would you rather?", a co-design technique that facilitates research into children's opinions. Through the co-design sessions, we found that children were psychologically wary about AR technology due to a lack of trust in the technology, and realism had a significant impact on these judgments. We also identified that children considered AR technology environments as an extension of the real world. Their real-world values directly influenced their perceptions of AR. This research provides insights into the wariness that libraries need to be aware of when developing AR content for children in the future, and how libraries can use AR as an educational tool.

A largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) is an ecosystem disturbance fish species at the highest rank in the aquatic ecosystem, causing a serious imbalance in freshwater ecosystems. Although various attempts have been made to eradicate and control largemouth bass, no effective measures were found. Therefore, it is necessary to find an approach to maximize the effective population reduction based on the unique characteristics of largemouth bass. This study used the transcriptome analysis to derive 182,887 unigene contigs and select 12 types of final target sequences for applying the CRISPR/Cas9 system in the genes of IZUMO1 and Zona pellucida sperm-binding protein, which are proteins involved in sperm-egg recognition. After synthesizing 12 types of sgRNA capable of recognizing each target sequence, 12 types of Cas9-sgRNA ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complexes to be used in subsequent studies were prepared. This study searched the protein-coding gene of sperm-egg through the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and edited genes through the CRISPR/Cas9 system to induce infertile individuals that produced reproductive cells but could not form fertilized eggs. Through such a series of processes, it successfully established a composition development process for largemouth bass. It is judged that this study contributed to securing the valuable basic data for follow-up studies to verify its effect for the management of ecological disturbances without affecting the habitat of other endemic species in the same water system with the largemouth bass.

The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and essence of aged life, which Korean elderly experience in real life and restructure them in the context of time and culture. In order to do so an in-depth interview was done with 15 elderlies over the age of 60 living in Hwaseong City, an urban-rural composite area in Gyeonggi Province where diverse elderlies could be found. In result, first, Korean elderly's understanding of aged life had physical, familial, economical, leisure, and social restoration aspects. Second, it was found that the degree of understanding about preparation for aging and preparedness is quite low. Third, as the gap between actual preparation for aging and aged life that elderly dreamed of became wider 'resentment on children', 'denial of reality', 'physical and economical change', and 'experience from prolongation of life-cycle' was found. Based on such results following suggestions could be made. First, the awareness of aged life and preparation for aging should be strengthened and there is a need for diverse educations aiming successful aged life. Second, elderly welfare policy and practical intervention with an integrated perspective based on the realm of life-cycle are demanded. Third, there is a need to strengthen the Aged Income Maintenance System for existing elder generation. Fourth, an intervention about adaptation and coping means of life event is needed. Lastly, there is a need to expand and carry out the aged life planning program for future elder generation.

This study was conducted to identify the operation status of Dobong-gu public libraries in order to establish a mid- to long-term development plan for Dobong-gu libraries, and to analyze local residents' perceptions of libraries by factors through user surveys to suggest specific development plans for Dobong-gu libraries. Overall, the satisfaction level of Dobong-gu residents with library services was found to be high, and all libraries were analyzed to be providing high-quality services. From this, the following operational strategies for the mid- to long-term development plan of Dobong-gu public libraries can be derived. First, libraries need to continue to collect and provide books that meet the quantitative and qualitative levels to satisfy the needs of the community and users. Electronic and online materials, including e-books and audiobooks, as well as subject-specific materials should be expanded to provide relevant programs. Second, although Dobong-gu is an aging city, a wide range of age live there, so there is a need to promote communication and understanding between generations and promote integration of the community through a generational empathy program. Third, it is necessary to remodel and improve the space of aging libraries by organizing library facilities and environments into open spaces and creating makerspaces and multicultural spaces for direct experience and practice, reflecting the latest trends in library space organization.

Recently, the IoT (Internet of Things) environment is being developed rapidly through network which is linked to intellectual objects. Through the IoT, it is possible for human to intercommunicate with objects and objects to objects. Also, the IoT provides artificial intelligent service mixed with knowledge of situational awareness. One of the industries based on the IoT is a car industry. Nowadays, a self-driving vehicle which is not only fuel-efficient, smooth for traffic, but also puts top priority on eventual safety for humans became the most important conversation topic. Since several years ago, a research on the recognition of the surrounding environment for self-driving vehicles using sensors, lidar, camera, and radar techniques has been progressed actively. Currently, based on the WAVE (Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment), the research is being boosted by forming networking between vehicles, vehicle and infrastructures. In this paper, a research on the recognition of a traffic signs on highway was processed as a part of the awareness of the surrounding environment for self-driving vehicles. Through the traffic signs which have features of fixed standard and installation location, we provided a learning theory and a corresponding results of experiment about the way that a vehicle is aware of traffic signs and additional informations on it.

According to the era, area, culture, and scholars, the beauty has been variously interpreted. This paper is analyzed about human beauty, the university environment beauty, and the relevance of awareness about beauty and convergence education. Especially this paper is researched on the basis of the survey data for the B University students. Also in this paper, we considered that what is beauty, whether and how to recognize human beauty, which was investigated whether the beauty of the campus environment. Futhermore, we discussed about relevance of beauty and convergence education. We describes relevance of major education and aesthetics, and relevance of characteristics education. In this survey, it can be seen that theses students have awareness of holistic human beauty and that inner beauty rather than outer beauty is more preferentially. The beauty of university environment is important to know university member's beauty, and individual character and major competencies of faculties and staffs suited to establishment ideology of the university, and the emotional education and administration suited to the emotional generations. Because beauty awareness of university programs appear through the students' character and major competence, it was recognized that the convergence beauty education of university program is properly carried out is important.

The purpose of this paper was to study on the attitudes about Reverse-Mortgage among Baby Boomers to offer the basis for revitalization of Reverse-Mortgage. Social survey research using a questionnaire was conducted among the babyboomer's living in Seoul area from September $30^{th}$ to October $14^{th}$. The data from 102 respondents were analyzed using SPSS PASW 18.0. The main findings were as followings 1) although 64% of the respondents prefered to type which could withdraw temporary cash, but main factor that affected the use was a stability in one's old age 2) 72% of respondents thought adequate age for application was over 66. So lowering the qualification of age looked not need for revitalization 3) babyboomer's said that they would use reverse-mortgage if they couldn't get benefit from other pension inspite of getting lower recognition on house inheritance. It was be cause they regarded Reverse-Mortgage as a final step. In conclusion, current qualification and limit for withdraw looks adequate but it need public relations about its merit unlike other pension. And it has to emphasize its stability so that baby boomer can feel easy from holding a mortgage on their house.

생체인식 기술이 차세대 보안 기술로서 주목을 받고 있으나 대부분의 생체 시스템이 독립적으로 존재하고 있어, 표준화 노력의 일환으로 세계적인 생체인식협회인 BioAPI Consortium에서 표준 BioAPI version 1.1이 제정되었다. 본 논문에서는 BioAPI에서 제안한 명세서를 토대로 하여 클라이언트-서버구조로서 웹기반 사용자 인증시스템을 설계한다. 클라이언트는 입력 장치 및 BSP에 따른 Hybrid기법을 적용함으로서 신뢰성을 부여하여 웹 상에서 사용자의 취득 가능한 여러 생체 정보를 검증 자료로 사용하고, 실 시간성을 부여하기 위하여 ActiveX를 사용하여 객체의 크기를 작게 한다. 서버는 생체검증의 기본기능인 등록, 인증, 검증을 할 수 있도록 BioAPI 인터페이스를 사용하여 BSP에 따른 기 입력된 사용자의 생체 정보를 검증하게 되며, 본 논문에서는 구조적 접근 방법을 사용한 서명과 ID 및 password 의 조합을 검증기로서 사용하게 된다. 개방형 네트워크인 웹 상에서 생체 정보를 이용한 사용자 검증시스템은 전자 상거래 등의 신원확인이 필요한 분야에 신뢰성을 제공한다.
