This paper shows an analysis of the effectiveness of internet games shutdown policy being conducted in Korea and focusing on a verification of the effects of the selective games shutdown and the compulsory games shutdown running for the prevention of adolescents' addiction by korea government (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family). According to the results, It is difficult to clearly prove the causal relations between internet games and addiction. Also the internet games shutdown policy is not only the most effective means for preventing internet games addiction. On the basis of it, this paper proposes effective policy measures to prevent the internet game addiction of adolescents.

This study analyzed 817 articles published in Korean professional journals over the past three years, from 2020 to 2022, using text mining techniques to identify trends in addiction research in Korea and explore development directions. The analysis results are as follows. First, as a result of the analysis of the top keywords, online addiction studies such as smartphones, games, Internet, gambling, and relationship addiction were prominent as the top keywords. Second, as a result of TF-IDF analysis, many addiction studies related to behavioral addiction such as smartphones, games, the Internet, and work addiction have been conducted over the past three years, and in particular, there are many studies on addiction problems such as smartphones, games, and the Internet that have not yet been clinically diagnosed as addiction problems. This is the same as the result of word frequency analysis, and it can be interpreted that recent studies have been remarkably conducted on more diverse addiction problems. Third, the 2-gram analysis shows that words that mainly correspond to behavioral addiction, such as smartphones, games, and the Internet, appear side by side with the keyword addiction, and among them, words paired with smartphones are mentioned a lot in research papers and are being studied. Fourth, as a result of the CONCOR analysis, there were five clusters: a study on universal addiction issues such as alcohol use disorders and the Internet, a study of recovery on drug and gambling addiction, a study on mobile devices and media addiction, a study on the latest trends related to behavioral addiction, and other addiction issues. Finally, based on the results of this study, a direction for future addiction-related research was suggested.

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between ADHD trait and life satisfaction among male adolescents, and to examine the mediating effect of interpersonal initiation and internet game addiction on that relationship. The participants were 285 male students from middle and high schools. For this study, World Health Organization ADHD Self-Report Scale, Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire, Internet Gaming Use-Elicited Symptom Screen, and Satisfaction with Life Scale were used. PROCESS Macro 3.5 Model 4 was used to analyze a double mediating effect. Results revealed that male adolescents' ADHD trait was negatively correlated with interpersonal initiation and life satisfaction, while it was positively correlated with their internet game addiction. And, male adolescents' interpersonal initiation was positively correlated with life satisfaction, whereas internet game addiction was negatively correlated with life satisfaction. In addition, male adolescents' interpersonal initiation and game addiction were mediating ADHD trait and life satisfaction. These findings suggest that the interpersonal initiation and game addiction should be treated to improve life satisfaction of male adolescents with high ADHD trait.

본 연구는 전산직과 비전산직 종사자의 인터넷 중독 정도가 직무스트레스 및 우울감에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자, 2009년 10월 25일부터 12월 9일까지 서울 및 대전에 소재한 2개의 공공기관 건물내 근무하고 종사자 500명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 일반적 특성, 직무스트레스, 우울감 정도, 일상적인 인터넷 이용, 인터넷 중독 자가진단을 조사하였다. 주요 결과는 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 직무스트레스 요인별 분류에서는 개인 관련요인이 낮은 연령과 미혼인 경우, 아파트 외 기타에서 거주하는 경우 높게 나타났고, 조직 외 요인의 직무스트레스에서는 전산직에 비해 비전산직이 통계적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 둘째, 인터넷 중독에 따른 직무스트레스에서는 직무 관련요인, 개인 관련요인, 조직 외 요인 모두 일반 사용자보다 잠재적 위험사용자가 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 셋째, 우울감 정도에 따른 직무스트레스에서는 우울감 정도가 정상인 경우에 비해 경미함 및 중증도의 경우가 직무 관련요인, 개인 관련요인, 조직 외 요인 모두 높은 직무스트레스를 나타냈다(p<0.05). 넷째, 직무스트레스와 우울감을 종속변수로 한 다중회귀분석 결과를 보면 직무스트레스는 결혼여부, 가족구성원 수, 인터넷 중독이 유의한 변수였고, 25.6%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 우울감은 결혼여부와 인터넷 중독이 유의한 변수였고, 26.4%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 전산직 및 비전산직의 인터넷 중독과 직무스트레스 및 우울감은 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 인터넷 중독이 심할수록 직무스트레스가 높았으며, 우울감 정도가 심할수록 역시 직무스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

With recent surge of Internet use, many people become concerned with side effects of Internet. Especially Internet addiction has become a significant issue. As the rate of teenagers' Internet use is higher than the rates of other age groups, and Internet takes an important part in teenagers' everyday lives, many people become concerned with Internet addition. Internet addiction is salient even among elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to grasp the realities of elementary students' Internet addiction using an evaluation tool developed for elementary school students, and to analyze differences in the addiction rate according to students' gender and grade. A survey was conducted to 989 5th and 6th graders selected from nationwide schools. The results of this study show that 5.0% of the students are in the stage of serious addiction, and 15.7% in the stage of early addiction. In addition, significant differences are found between boys and girls and between 5th graders and 6th graders.

As teenagers' Internet use increases and Internet takes an important part in their everyday lives, many people become concerned with Internet addiction. In this study, I attempt to analyze the current status of teenagers' Internet addiction using an evaluation tool developed for students, and to compare elementary students' Internet addiction level with secondary students. Also I analyze factors affecting Internet addiction. For the analysis, 18 variables are selected from the areas such as demographic background, the experience of Internet use, family-related traits and social activities. A survey was conducted to 1,155 elementary students and 1,822 secondary students selected from nationwide schools. The main finding of this study is that among the elementary students 5.0% of the sample students are in the stage of serious addiction, and 19.7% in the stage of early addiction. In addition, the level of elementary students' Internet addiction is significantly higher than the level of secondary students. Also, the degree of elementary students' Internet addiction is significantly affected by some factors such as gender, surfing time, surfing purpose, satisfaction with parental relationship, parents' interference in Internet use, conversation frequency among family members, and satisfaction with school life.

Recently Internet addiction problems of teenagers are so serious that the education to solve the problems are required in school. However, teachers are suffering difficulties to intervene students' Internet addiction because they do not have expert knowledge about student counselling and Internet addiction problems. In this study, in order that nonprofessional teachers in student counselling can consult easily a student who is addicted to Internet. we developed consulting contents consisted of twelve weeks consulting activities and the student consulting support system about Internet addiction problems. This system offers the consulting contents module for teachers and the information management module for students. For the experimental operation of the system and contents. we made a consocium of twenty primary and secondary schools. We selected a students who is most serious in Internet addiction problem in the school We made a class teacher counsel a student individually by applying the system. Thereafter, we analyzed the effects of consultation and presented the results.

Addiction to online games has been causing many problems for elementary school students such as school life, humanity, scholarship and physique. Considering the increase in children being addicted to internet games, there are growing needs for attention and countermeasures toward the children. Nevertheless, it leaves something to be desired. Especially, studies and counterplans for the children who live in the metropolitan are not suited with the circumstances of each regional child. Therefore, it's necessary to work out new research by regional student groups. That is why this study understands fundamental facts about the usage of the internet of elementary school students living in Geoje, Gyeongnam and figures out the effects of online game addiction on the formation of character. Also, it suggests the right direction of internet use to parents and teachers, as rousing the public interest about computer game addiction.

The purpose of this study was to investigate adolescents' internet addiction tendencies according to their human resources which is composed of personal resources and interpersonal resources. The subjects of this study were 396 middle school students in Daegu. Analysis of data were done with the use of frequency. percentage, meat factor analysis, and MANOVA with the Scheffe test applied. The main results of this study were as follows : First, there were meaningful differences in adolescents' internet addiction tendencies according to their personal resources such as self-control ability, Problem-solving ability, and time management ability. Second, there were meaningful differences in adolescents' internet addiction tendencies according to their interpersonal resources such as parents-support, peer-support, and teacher-support.

The purpose of this study uses a structural equation model to investigate the relationships between impulsivity, internalizing - externalizing behavior problems, internet addiction, and mobile phone addiction in adolescents. We investigated whether internalizing - externalizing behavior problems plays a mediating role in the relationship between impulsivity and mobile phone addiction/internet addiction. Survey responses of 433 middle school students in Seoul areas were analyzed for this study. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The "research model" in this study was found suitable, and was selected as a final model. Structural equation modeling analyses indicated that impulsivity influenced internet addiction and mobile phone addiction, and externalizing behavior problems showed a significant effect on mobile phone addiction. In addition, impulsivity had a significant effect on internalizing - externalizing behavior problems. (2) Externalizing behavior problems was a mediator in the relationship between impulsivity and mobile phone addiction. Lastly, the meanings and implications of this research to counseling strategies and education were suggested in this research.
