Ruptured Mature Cystic Teratoma Involving Pulmonary Artery - A case report- (폐동맥을 침범한 파열된 성숙 낭포성 기형종 - 1예 보고 -)

  • We report a case of mature cystic teratoma of the anterior mediastinum that ruptured into the pulmonary artery requiring an emergent surgical treatment. A 39-year-old woman presented an episode of massive hemoptysis and treated with bronchial artery embolization (BAE). On the 10th day after BAE, however, she developed sudden massive hemoptysis and had a deteriorated mental status. For a definitive treatment, she underwent the left pneumonectomy and the tumor resection in the anterior mediastinum. On histologic examination, the tumor disclosed cystic structures composed of mature squamous epithelium, pilosebaceous glands, mature fat tissue, cartilage and bone tissue. Also, there was intrapulmonary hemorrhage due to left pulmonary artery invasion of the tumor.

Morphometrical Analysis of Developing Renal Tubular and Glomerular Cells in Rabbit (토끼의 발생기 뇨세관과 사구체 세포들의 형태계측학적인 분석)

  • Using morphometric technique, the present study was made of the kidney of rabbit embryo in the 13 days of the gestation. Their section areas of the renal tubules and the glomerular cells were compared with the those of adult rabbit, 1. In the developing renal tubule, the tubular section areas were larger than that of the adult, but the nuclear section areas of tubular calls were smaller than the adult. The microvilli of their cell surface were poorly developed, and their cytoplasm contained well developed mitochondria with euchromatic nucleus. 2. In the developing glomeruli. the nuclear section area of the cells of the parietal layer, the podocytes, and the endothelial cells were similar size, but their nuclei were larger than those of the adult. The cytopalsm of the podocytes contained well-developed rough endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and round mitochondria.

  • 최근 많은 기업에서는 프로세스 관리를 통한 제품 품질 향상에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 프로세스 관리는 제품 개발과정의 가시성을 확보함으로써 제품 개발 후 발생할 수 있는 문제를 초기에 찾아내고 해결함으로써 제품 개발에 드는 비용과 공수를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 한다. 측정활동은 프로세스 관리에 필요한 데이터 식별 및 분석을 통해 프로세스 관리에 필요한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있으며. 이를 통해 효과적으로 프로세스를 관리할 수 있게 해준다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 많은 기업들에서 프로세스 개선 모델로 채택하고 있는 CMMI 를 기반으로 측정활동에 대해 연구하였다. CMMI 에서는 조직의 성숙도 수준에 따라 5 개의 레벨로 구성되어 있으며, 이 중 측정 프로세스 수립에 대해서는 레벨 2 의 MA(Measurement and Analysis) 프로세스 영역에서 제시하고 있다. 레벨 2 에서 수립된 측정 프로세스는 레벨 2 뿐만 아니라 레벨 3, 4, 5 에서도 지속적으로 수행되어야 한다. 하지만 CMMI 에서는 레벨에 따른 측정 프로세스 관리에 관해서는 언급하고 있지 않다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CMMI의 MA 프로세스 영역을 기반으로, 측정 관련 표준 및 모델을 분석하여 측정 프로그램을 수립하고, CMMI 에서 제시하고 있는 5 개의 성숙도 수준별로 측정 프로그램이 어떠한 차이를 보이는지를 연구하여, 최종적으로 CMMI 성숙도 수준별 측정 프로그램의 적용방안을 제시한다.

AHP 기법을 활용한 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인 중요도 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인들의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하였고, 구체적으로 창업준비기, 창업기, 성장기, 성숙기 창업 성장단계 기준으로 구분하여 가장 먼저 선행되어야 할 특허분석 요인을 AHP기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상위요인의 중요도는 창업준비기(.633), 창업기(.231), 성장기/성숙기(0.136) 순으로 나타났다. 상위요인인 창업준비기의 하위요인 중요도는 환경분석(.593), 특허조사(.236), 특허분석(.171) 순으로 분석되었다. 창업기의 하위요인 중요도는 사업화전략(.415), R&D전략(.333), 보완출원전략(.138), 보유특허분석(.114) 순이고, 성장기/성숙기 하위요인 중요도는 후속IP창출(.337), 핵심특허 대응전략(.260), 후속R&D방향제시(.183), 특허인프라구축(.137), 라이센싱(매입)전략(.083) 순으로 나타났다. 전체 복합신뢰도 상위권 중요도 순위로는 1위 환경분석, 2위 특허조사, 3위 특허분석, 4위 사업화전략, 5위 R&D전략, 6위 후속 IP창출 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 창업을 준비하는 창업자에게 특허와 관련하여 단계별 집중해야 하는 요인의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하고 더 생산적이고 효율적인 일들에 집중할 수 있는 가이드가 되기를 바란다.

Effect of PCB on the Oocyte Maturation and Proges- terone Production of Frog, Rana dybowskii in Vitro

  • In order to know the effects of PCB(Arochlor 1248) on the oocyte maturation and proges-terone(P$_4$) production by FPH(Frog pituitary homogenate: 0.01 p.e/$m\ell$) of frog in vitro, the oocytes were cultured for 20 hours in presence of the PCB at various concentrations and exam-ined their maturation(germinal vesicle breakdown: GVBD) rates and P$_4$ levels secreted by the oocyte in the culture medium. The results show that PCB concentration of 10 ppb suppressed the maturation of the oocytes and secretion of P$_4$. To examine the reversibility of the inhibitory effects, the oocytes were exposed to the PCB only for 3 hours, and then transferred to plain medium and cultured further for 17 hours. The oocytes were recovered from the toxic effect of the PCB when they were exposed to 2.5 ppb, but not to 5 ppb of the PCB. These results indi-cate that PCB suppress the maturation of oocytes and secretion of p, at low concentration, sug-gesting that the frog oocyte culture system can be used as a useful tool to evaluate the toxicity of the pollutants in the environment.

  • Evaluating the work process of the organization is necessary to improve efficiency and make high quality of results. As size of construction projects are bigger, it is also applied to design firm. By applying efficient process, design team can reduce rework and waste. To make systematic process and keep a continuous progress, process evaluation is required. On this study, CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) concept is benchmarked. Originally CMMI is suggested to evaluating capability of work process of Soft Ware developing organization by SEI(Software Engineering Institute). From CMMI system, direction of making evaluating method of design project performing team is drove. After worked out the evaluation method of capability maturity of process in design team, it could contribute making progress in the design process and satisfying client.

  • The newly updated Rail Safety Act is required to build a comprehensive railway safety management system with corresponding accreditation regulations for the purpose of safe railway operations. However, such efforts would not be enough to achieve a successful safety-performance solely without being in place of an appropriate level of safety cultures in an organization. No research was taken place to propose a safety culture maturity model and its estimate procedures in Korean railway industries. The research reviews a variety of safety maturity models applied in many other industries and the process of conducting surveys in order to propose a framework of railway safety maturity estimates, with a set of railway safety elements. This research is expected to contribute in diagnosing weak areas and finding their appropriate treatment, along with in placing the railway safety certificate program from 2014.

  • The purpose of this case study is to suggest the indicators of an informatization maturity level and critical success factors in small and medium automotive parts manufacturers. To achieve this goal, literature reviews and case studies on 7 automotive parts manufacturers that confirmed to implement information systems successfully, were conducted. Based on literature review, the six functional processes including development, production scheduling, purchase, production, order, and support process, were defined. Each process has 5 levels from 1(low level) to 5(high level) depending on the degree of informatization maturity. In addition, critical success factors were discovered with interviews of CEO or CIO. The results of this study can be applied to any companies which are implementing or intended to the information systems near future.

Mediating Effect of Self-Resilience in Influences of Female College Students' Self-Efficacy, Interpersonal Competence on Career Maturity (여대생의 자기효능감과 대인관계능력이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 자아탄력성의 매개효과)

  • This study was carried out as a preliminary study to help prepare a career support program that combines self-efficacy, interpersonal competence, and self-resilience for female college students. To that end, a survey was executed on 345 female students of two universities, one in the Southern area and one in Norther area of Kyunggi-do from March 6 through 20, 2017, and 333 questionnaires were used for final analysis using SPSS v.22. Major study findings are as follows: First, family income and school years showed no statistically significant differences among groups. Second, self-efficacy was found to influence career maturity. Third, interpersonal competence was found to influence career maturity. Fourth, self-resilience was shown to have a mediating effect in the relationship between both self-efficacy and career maturity, and interpersonal competence and career maturity. These findings have significance in that a career-maturity enhancing program combing all the factors mentioned herein can be served as useful information for universities and colleges which intend to offer such program to female students.

  • Limanda yokohamae was studied on its growth, age at maturity, fecundity and survivorship, based on the specimens off the southeastern coast of Korea from December 1983 to November 1984. The total lengths at the formation of annulus on the otolith were back-calculated. The age at the first reproduction is 2yrs in both sexes. Fecundity was estimated to be $121{\times}10^3{\sim}429{\times}10^3$. Annual survival rate is 0.435 in female and 0.335 in male.
