Predicting Regional Soybean Yield using Crop Growth Simulation Model (작물 생육 모델을 이용한 지역단위 콩 수량 예측)

  • The present study was to develop an approach for predicting soybean yield using a crop growth simulation model at the regional level where the detailed and site-specific information on cultivation management practices is not easily accessible for model input. CROPGRO-Soybean model included in Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) was employed for this study, and Illinois which is a major soybean production region of USA was selected as a study region. As a first step to predict soybean yield of Illinois using CROPGRO-Soybean model, genetic coefficients representative for each soybean maturity group (MG I~VI) were estimated through sowing date experiments using domestic and foreign cultivars with diverse maturity in Seoul National University Farm ($37.27^{\circ}N$, $126.99^{\circ}E$) for two years. The model using the representative genetic coefficients simulated the developmental stages of cultivars within each maturity group fairly well. Soybean yields for the grids of $10km{\times}10km$ in Illinois state were simulated from 2,000 to 2,011 with weather data under 18 simulation conditions including the combinations of three maturity groups, three seeding dates and two irrigation regimes. Planting dates and maturity groups were assigned differently to the three sub-regions divided longitudinally. The yearly state yields that were estimated by averaging all the grid yields simulated under non-irrigated and fully-Irrigated conditions showed a big difference from the statistical yields and did not explain the annual trend of yield increase due to the improved cultivation technologies. Using the grain yield data of 9 agricultural districts in Illinois observed and estimated from the simulated grid yield under 18 simulation conditions, a multiple regression model was constructed to estimate soybean yield at agricultural district level. In this model a year variable was also added to reflect the yearly yield trend. This model explained the yearly and district yield variation fairly well with a determination coefficients of $R^2=0.61$ (n = 108). Yearly state yields which were calculated by weighting the model-estimated yearly average agricultural district yield by the cultivation area of each agricultural district showed very close correspondence ($R^2=0.80$) to the yearly statistical state yields. Furthermore, the model predicted state yield fairly well in 2012 in which data were not used for the model construction and severe yield reduction was recorded due to drought.

  • With the overwhelming development of information technologies, the need for software development that can deal with diversified and complex business processes has increased dramatically. As a result, companies prefer softwares that can handle far more complex processing ability and also it should be stable as well as easier to maintain. These ambivalent requirements keep the software development organizations from assessing the quantitative abilities, so that under the support of the U.S. Department of Defense the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) have been developed. The CMMI upper levels for the software development companies will be evaluated to be excellent and authenticated, which drives the companies to get and maintain high levels of maturity. In this paper, a case study for a domestic software company has been exploited how to achieve CMMI level 4 and what kind of factors have been played an effective role. These issues at the domestic and international software and maintenance program, can influence the trustworthiness and marketing effects for the global market. In this paper, the company's actual case study will give clues to find out the important factors for the development and maintenance of software companies maturity levels.

  • 형상관리가 소프트웨어 개발과 유지보수 단계에서 중요하게 사용되고 있다. 연구와 실제 구축을 거듭하면서 형상관리는 소프트웨어 개발의 성숙한 기술이 되었다. CBSD(Component Based Software Development)는 소프트웨어 개발의 새로운 패러다임으로 자리 잡고 있다. 즉. CBSD가 소프트웨어 재사용과 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 기술에 관한 연구로 시작되어 왔고. 소프트웨어 개발에 새로운 패러다임으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 CBSD에 관한 형상관리 연구가 뒤따르지 못하였고, 관련 문헌도 상당히 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서 설계한 모델은 CBSD를 더 효율적으로 지원하기 위하여 사용될 것이다. 또한 본 모델은 CBSD 개념을 이용한다. 이 모델은 전통적인 소프트웨어 형상관리(SCM ; Software Configuration Management)와 관련이 있고 이를 컴포넌트 환경을 지원하도록 개선시킨 모델이다.

A Study on the Design of EA Performance Evaluation Model and the Application Case (EA성과평가 모델의 설계 및 적용사례에 관한 연구)

  • Korean government has operated EA by the act on efficient introduction of information system and operation, etc. But the evaluation system for EA and the criteria don't prepare well. Particularly, There is no model for EA performance measurement and the way is insufficient. In this study, we derived 8 areas and 17 criteria for the performance evaluation based on the Performance Reference Model of U.S FEA and Korea. And we also derived 8 areas and 10 criteria for it based on the OMB EA Assessment Framework and the EA maturity model in Korea. We propose the performance evaluation model of the five areas that consists of the business performance, customer performance, process, human resource and the technology for EA performance evaluation. To verify the model, we applied the model to three organizations and evaluated EA performance. In addition, we compared the performance result with the performance evaluation area of EA maturity model of Korea to verify the result. We also analyzed the criteria of the proposed performance evaluation model with the current EA maturity model and Performance Reference Model of Korea. As a result of the evaluation, we verified of the proposed performance evaluation model, too.

  • The SSE-CMM model is how to verify the level of information protection as a process-centric information security products, systems and services to develop the ability to assess the organization's development. The CMM is a model for software developers the ability to assess the development of the entire organization, improving the model's maturity level measuring. However, this method of security engineering process improvement and the ability to asses s the individual rather than organizational level to evaluate the ability of the processes are stopped. In this research project based on their existing research information from the technical point of view is to define the maturity level of protection. How to diagnose an information security vulnerabilities, technical security system, verification, and implementation of technical security shall consist of diagnostic status. The proposed methodology, the scope of the work place and the current state of information systems at the level of vulnerability, status, information protection are implemented to assess the level of satisfaction and function. It is possible that measures to improve information security evaluation based on established reference model as a basis for improving information security by utilizing leverage.

Maturity-Based Model for Concrete Compressive Strength with Different Supplementary Cementitious Materials (혼화재 치환율을 고려한 성숙도 기반의 콘크리트 압축강도 평가 모델)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a simple model to evaluate the compressive strength development of concrete with various supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and cured under different temperatures. For the generalization of the model, the ACI 209 parabola equation was modified based on the maturity function and then experimental constants A and B and 28-day compressive strength were determined from the regression analysis using a total of 265 data-sets compiled from the available literature. To verify the proposed model, concrete specimens classified into 3 Groups were prepared according to the SCM level as a partial replacement of cement and curing temperature. The analysis of existing data clearly revealed that the 28-day compressive strength decreases when the curing temperature is higher and/or lower than the reference curing temperature ($20^{\circ}C$). Furthermore, test results showed that the compressive strength development of concrete cured under $20^{\circ}C$ until an early age of 3 days was marginally affected by the curing temperature afterward. The proposed model accurately predicts the compressive strength development of concrete tested, indicating that the mean and standard deviation of the ratios between predictions and experiments are 1.00 and 0.08, respectively.

  • 소프트웨어 시장의 요구가 빠르게 변화됨에 따라서 소프트웨어 프로젝트의 관리가 비용, 스케줄, 품질의 관점에서 절충하는 문제가 제기되고 있다. 소프트웨어 개발 업체들은 적은 개발비용으로 사용자의 기대를 만족시키는 고품질의 소프트웨어를 단기간에 출시하고자 많은 노력을 기울이고 있으며, 소프트웨어 제품과 프로세스를 관리하고 예측할 수 있는 능력을 확보하고자 노력하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CMM의 성숙도 단계를 구현하기 위해 달성해야하는 핵심영역인 KPA 성숙도 설문서의 rating 보정을 통해서 KPA 설문의 결함을 추출하고, 원인분석을 통한 결함분석 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Domestic software test maturity level is the most Level 2 below based on TMMi. The first condition of enhancement of test maturity is that know exactly what the current maturity. There is no Level 1 definition in TMMi, but even the same level of maturity level of an organization, there are clear differences. In this study, grasp a maturity level of Level 1 organization, while less effort to improve in Level organization, the ways to achieve Level 2 is presented. Sub practices with dependencies in Level 2 is grouped with the corresponding process areas and define a Level 1 newly at 3 phases. If sub practices with dependencies are tied and improve a process, it will produce the effect which attains the practices all at once. Verify the adequacy of three phases, as a result, an organization clearly identify Test Maturity Level 1, we know that the organization can set specific improvement goals and direction.

  • 최근 공공기관 및 금융권에서는 경쟁력 향상을 위한 정보시스템의 통합으로 프로젝트 규모가 대형화되고 또한, 프로젝트 수가 증가하고 있어 적절한 소프트웨어 프로젝트 관리 방안이 필요하다. 그러나 프로젝트 관리 영역간의 미치는 영향에 대하여 체계적인 연구가 미흡하였다. 따라서 선행 연구를 통하여 프로젝트 관리에 중요한 영역을 도출하였고, 도출된 "범위, 일정, 품질, 인력, 위험"의 각 영역들간의 상호 미치는 영향도의 분석과 각 영역의 진행 상태를 "계획, 실행, 완료" 단계로 구분하여 수행도를 분석하였다. 분석된 영향도와 수행도의 결과를 종합하여 프로젝트 관리 수준을 평가하는 모델을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 IT 분야의 전문가 그룹을 통해 프로젝트 관리 영역들간의 영향 분석이 실증적으로 연구가 이루어졌고, 또한 각 영역의 진행상태를 측정 함으로써 실무적인 측면에서 더욱 체계적이고 균형 잡힌 프로젝트 관리와 감리 수행 시에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
