A Study on the Effect of Selection Attribute of Cruise Service on Tourism Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention (크루즈 서비스 선택속성이 관광만족과 행동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The interest on cruise service has been increased due to the economic development and income growth all over the world during last several decades. However, cruise industry in Korea is located in the initiating stage and the service is just focused on costal cruise service. This study investigates relationship between influencing factors of the selection attributes of cruise service on tourism satisfaction and behavioral intention. Additionally, the study aims to provide information to establish customer-oriented marketing strategies for cruise tour service. Literature review is conducted to find out the factors in order to meet the future users preference and expectations. The data was collected on-board customers of "One Night Cruise" on Panstar Line. The result of the study shows that a certain number of factors are statistically significant on the cruise tour intention of potential customers. It shows that there is significant difference related to the using purpose and the usage attitude. Managers in the cruise company are able to utilize the practical implications of the present study when the cruise service launches in Korea. This study exists limitations that samples are not sufficient and the research can not be generalized due to the inadequate samples of target company.

The Effects of Hotel Visitors' Cultural Characteristics on Hotel Selection Attributes: Focusing on the Hofstede Cultural Dimension (호텔 방문객들의 문화적 특성이 호텔 선택속성에 끼치는 영향: Hofstede 문화차원을 중심으로)

  • As cultural background contributes members of society to recognize and behave in a specific direction, customers with different cultural backgrounds show various reactions even when they are provided with the same service. Previous studies have used the Hofstede cultural dimension to understand how hotel visitors' satisfaction varies with the provided service as per their cultural background. However existing research only considered the cultural background of the guests, and there are not many studies focused on the types of travel. Therefore, in this study, the travel types of hotel visitors are classified into business travel visitors and leisure tourism visitors, and analyzed the effect of Hofstede's cultural dimension on hotel selection attributes according to the styles of travel. In this study, we collected information on six cultural dimensions of Hofstede, and from TripAdvisor, a representative tourism platform, 204,261 optional attribute ratings for hotels in New York to investigate the satisfaction of hotel selection attributes. In conclusion, it is expected that this study will be able to identify which service attributes the customers of various cultures who visit hotels put emphasis in advance, and therefore provide suitable service accordingly.

Study on Multi-modal Transit Network Assignment with Dial Algorithm (다이알 알고리즘을 이용한 다수단 대중교통 노선배정기법에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 대중교통 노선배정 시에 여러 수단간의 환승을 고려함으로써 다수단 대중교통망 내에서 수단선택과 노선선택을 동시에 수행할 수 있도록 확률적인 통행배분(traffic assignment) 모형의 하나인 다이알 알고리즘을 응용할 것을 제시하고 그 알고리즘의 속성을 정확하게 규명하는데 있다 승용차의 확률적 통행배분모형으로 잘 알려져 있는 Dial 알고리즘은 로짓모형에 기초한 것이므로 다수단간의 대중교통 수단선택과 노선선택과 같은 선택 행태를 동시에 설명할 수 있는 모형적 특성을 기본적으로 내재하고 있다. 본 연구에서 제시한 대중교통 노선선택에 적용될 수 있도록 수정된 다이알 알고리즘은 기존의 결정적 대중교 통 노선배정 모형들의 단점을 극복할 수 있는 특성을 갖고 있다. 즉 결정적 대중교통 노선배정모형은 기종점간 최단경로에 교통량을 전랑배분(All-or-Nothing)하여 통행자들의 행태적 속성을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있으며, 다수단 대중교통망 내에서 환승을 포함한 복합 대중교통수단의 선택을 효용극대화 이론에 기초하지 않고 최소비용노선에 전량배분하는 모형의 한계점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 결정적 대중교통 노선배정모형의 단점을 수정된 다이알 알고리즘은 개선할 수가 있다. 본 연구에서는 알고리즘의 특성을 파악하기 위한 모의실험으로 Sioux Falls 형태의 대중교통 네트워크를 이용하여 기존의 알고리즘과 비교 분석하였다. 분석의 탄력성을 갖고 있는 수정된 대중교통 다이알 알고리즘이 현실적 대중교통 통행패턴을 기존 모형보다 합리적으로 설명할 수 있을 것으로 보이며, 특히 다수단 대중교통망이 형성된 대도시의 대중교통 정책분석에 적합한 기법이 될 수 있을 것으로 고려된다.

A Study of Chinese Consumers' Selection to Korean Products: Focusing on the Local Western Region (중국 서부지역 소비자들의 한국제품 선택에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, by increasing the importance of the western China as consumer market, the need for a systematic and scientific study of the western Chinese consumers has been raised. This study researches how country image and product attributes as well as brand personality influence the western Chinese consumers' selection of Korean products. This study used the data which were collected through survey of adult consumers residing at six city of western China on Korean products' selection. Then the results are used for statistical analysis. The empirical findings are as follows: country image and product attributes as well as brand personality influence on the western Chinese consumers' selection of Korean products although there exist difference. Among three factors, the western Chinese consumers have most influences by product attributes. And brand personality in relation to its symbolic aspect has an important influence on the western Chinese consumer's Korean products selection. This study has presented the main implications of the preferred marketing strategies for Korean enterprises in the western China on the basis of these research results.

  • 우리나라 여행업은 1989년 이후 해외여행 전면 자유화 실시 이후 다양한 유통채널을 통해 양적 질적 발전을 이루어왔다. 그러나, 학문적 관점에서는 다양화된 유통채널에 대한 다양한 접근은 아직까지 부족한 실정이었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 선행연구 검토를 통한 다각적인 접근을 통해 서비스 기업의 상품 선택속성에 관한 이론적 토대를 제시하는 데 일조하는 데 연구목적이 있다.

  • This paper is to analyze the relationships between the factors of choice attributes and the related satisfaction focused on Domestic tourists in Jeju region. First, this paper used the structural equation model with the questionnaires to investigate the attributes affecting the visitors' satisfaction and service value. In conclusion, the attribute factors influencing service value and the visitors' satisfaction are 'equipment and convenience' and 'culture and leisure'. Also, this paper presents that the 'foods' factor is affecting re-visit and others' recommendation through the mediation of satisfaction factor.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the selection factors of sports climbing center, customer satisfaction, and re-registration. Data collection for the purpose of this study was collected through S center, B center, V center located in Seoul and K center located in Gyeonggi-do. A total of 296 valid samples were used for the analysis. To make sure the theory, it was based on analysis of frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression. First of all, it was found that the factors of selecting the sports climbing center partially affected the customer satisfaction level. Second, it was found that the factors of selecting the sports climbing center partially affected the decision to re-register.

  • In this study, the relationship between Customer Satisfaction and Selection Attributes of Hotel Michelin Restaurant was studied. It was attempted to investigate the influence relationship on whether there is a moderating effect by introducing a variable into the Hotel Brand Image. Convenience sampling was used for customers who have recently experienced Hotel Michelin Restaurant, which is currently located in a hotel in Seoul. It has been held for about 60 days from July 1, 2020. The survey tool constructed through prior research was distributed to customers who have experienced the Michelin Restaurant commissioned by hotels in Seoul. 287 copies of the collected effective specimens were statistically processed using SPSS 22.0. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, it was found that among the factors of Selection Attributes, physical environment, food quality, service quality, and convenience had a significant positive (+) effect between customer satisfaction. It was found that price fairness had no influence. Finally, it was found that there is a moderating effect on the physical environment and service quality variables by introducing the interaction variable between Selection Attributes and Customer Satisfaction.

The Effect of the Selection Attributes of Coffee Shops on Customer Value and Revisit Intention - Focusing on College students in Busan - (커피전문점 선택속성이 고객가치와 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 부산 지역 대학생들을 중심으로-)

  • This research investigates the causal relationships between the selection attributes of coffee shops and customer value and revisit intention. To do this, the statistics programs SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used targeting 218 college students from three universities (K, D, Y) in the Busan area. Frequency analysis, explanatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structure model analysis for hypothesis verification were conducted to analyze the data. Based on the results of exploratory factor analysis, five factors were drawn as quality of coffee, indoor environment, service, discount, and brand. Model fidelity and validity was confirmed by implementing the confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, results of structure model analysis confirmed partial relationships among the selection attributes of the college students regarding coffee shops, customer value, and revisit intention. Furthermore, a positive relationship between customer value and revisit intention was also confirmed. Thus, this research suggests that coffee shop managers should manage in a way that customers may acknowledge the value of the expenses they pay.

Effects of Information Retrieval and Coffee Shop's Attributes on the Means of Repositioning (정보검색과 커피전문점 선택속성이 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, the number of coffee shops has continued to increase, and information searches have been increasing for consumers who want to visit coffee shops. We wanted to find out the impact on the intention of revisiting a coffee shop by adding information search factors to the existing coffee shop's selection properties and search for the actual selection properties, and summarize the results as follows. The analysis of this study was conducted in two ways, before and after visiting a coffee shop through information search. First, the four factors and optional attributes that are important in information retrieval were the reliability of information (the number of reviews and views by coffee shops, recent postings), physical environment (the proximity of stores, the atmosphere, size, presence of side menus), visuality of information (physical environment, background, design, easy composition), merchantability (the taste of coffee, convenience of parking). In addition, the selection properties for satisfaction after visiting coffee shops through information search were derived from five general characteristics of coffee shops, menu, information consistency, taste of coffee, and convenience of parking, and among them, the consistency of information, taste of coffee, and general characteristics of coffee were found to affect the intention of revisiting again.
