An Analysis for Deriving New Convergent Service of Mobile Learning: The Case of Social Network Analysis and Association Rule (모바일 러닝에서의 신규 융합서비스 도출을 위한 분석: 사회연결망 분석과 연관성 분석 사례)

  • This study is conducted to explore the possibility of service convergence to promote mobile learning. This study has attempted to identify how mobile learning service is provided, which services among them are considered most popular, and which services are highly demanded by users. This study has also investigated the potential opportunities for service convergence of mobile service and e-learning. This research is then extended to examine the possibility of active convergence of common services in mobile services and e-learning. Important variables have been identified from related web pages of portal sites using social network analysis (SNA) and association rules. Due to the differences in number and type of variables on different web pages, SNA was used to deal with the difficulties of identifying the degree of complex connection. Association analysis has been used to identify association rules among variables. The study has revealed that most frequent services among common services of mobile services and e-learning were Games and SNS followed by Payment, Advertising, Mail, Event, Animation, Cloud, e-Book, Augmented Reality and Jobs. This study has also found that Search, News, GPS in mobile services were turned out to be very highly demanded while Simulation, Culture, Public Education were highly demanded in e-learning. In addition, It has been found that variables involving with high service convergence based on common variables of mobile and e-learning services were Games and SNS, Games and Sports, SNS and Advertising, Games and Event, SNS and e-Book, Games and Community in mobile services while Games, Animation, Counseling, e-Book, being preceding services Simulation, Speaking, Public Education, Attendance Management were turned out be highly convergent in e-learning services. Finally, this study has attempted to predict possibility of active service convergence focusing on Games, SNS, e-Book which were highly demanded common services in mobile and e-learning services. It is expected that this study can be used to suggest a strategic direction to promote mobile learning by converging mobile services and e-learning.

  • IT 기술을 이용하여 학습하는 것을 e-러닝이라 한다. 최초의 e-러닝은 DistanceLearning과 Distributed Learning이라는 두 가지 측면만으로도 훌륭한 역할을 하였다. 그러나 최근 정보통신산업의 비약적인 발전에 따라 새로운 e-러닝 서비스에 대한 사용자의 요구가 높아지고 있다. 무선 이동통신기술과 하드웨어기술 등의 발전에 따라 언제 어디서나 양질의 교육에 접근할 수 있고, 멀티미디어 처리기술의 발전에 따라 개인맞춤형 e-러닝 서비스가 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 기고에서는 e-러닝 시스템이라는 측면에서 차세대 e-러닝 서비스를 구상하고자 한다.

Service Learning: A New Approach in Science Education to Address Environmental Challenges (서비스 러닝: 환경문제를 다루기 위한 과학교육의 새로운 접근)

  • Researchers in science education have recently focused on service learning as an important educational approach to address environmental challenges including climate change. However, there are a limited number of studies focused on service learning in science education in Korea. In this study, based on existing related literature, the theoretical background of service learning is introduced and a conceptual framework that can be applied in the science education environment in Korea as a new approach to address environmental challenges is proposed. Given this, 112 relevant academic documents collected by searching a global database were analyzed. As a result, the theoretical background of service learning rooted in Dewey's experiential learning is introduced. Specifically, service learning is defined as a form of experiential learning that supports students in helping communities with structured services related to learning content, while at the same time fostering their in-depth understanding of content and engaging in civic and social responsibility as members of their community. In addition, a conceptual framework for service learning to address environmental challenges that can be applied to the science education environment in Korea is proposed. The proposed framework classifies the members of service learning into schools, students, and communities, and presents knowledge, experience, and learning through critical reflection as its core elements. It is important to actively implement service learning in science education to address various environmental challenges including climate change, biodiversity loss, air pollution, and deforestation, as just a few pressing challenges. Therefore, based on the proposed conceptual framework for service learning, studies that apply and verify diverse forms of educational approaches to addressing environmental challenges in local communities at school sites are needed.

  • This study tried to explore the ways to operate service learning more effectively by analyzing the educational effects of service learning and changes in learning sentiments that appeared in the service learning operation process established for the realization of the Christian educational philosophy at a small local Christian university. The analysis was conducted using NVivo11, focusing on the reflection journals of students who participated in service learning in the first semester of 2022 at J University. As a result of the study, through service learning, personal competence growth, self-reflection and will to change, self-esteem and self-efficacy, social and civic aspects, social responsibility enhancement, community (community) empathy and awareness of participation, and helping others There were educational effects such as an increase in the breadth of understanding. In addition, learning emotions that appeared in the service learning process included positive emotions such as gratitude, challenge recognition, pride, confidence, and responsibility, and negative emotions such as worry (difficulty), upset, regret, and awkwardness. It is a measure to increase the educational effect based on the learning emotion shown in the service learning process. When operating service learning, the service period at the visiting institution is increased to 6 weeks or more, and based on close interaction and detailed analysis of the educational environment in the planning stage, Suggest to develop and operate a plan. In addition, if you have the opportunity to receive feedback from your professors and colleagues through demonstrations and mock presentations in the classroom before visiting the institution, and finally have the opportunity to visit the institution again after the results of service learning are announced, more quality service learning education will be operated. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that more valuable and meaningful service learning education opportunities will be provided to learners by designing and operating a practical and sophisticated service learning curriculum.

  • IPTV 기반의 이러닝 마켓플레이스는 IPTV를 통한 이러닝 서비스 제공을 하기 위한 교육 콘텐츠 공급자와 수요자간의 마켓플레이스로써, 이는 양방향 매체 하에서의 이러닝 서비스로써 많은 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며, 방송통신융합의 초기 단계에서 IPTV는 다양한 콘텐츠와 서비스 모델의 개발을 통하여 그 효용성을 높이는데 기여를 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 IPTV기반의 이러닝 마켓플레이스에서 핵심적인 프레임워크를 구성하기 위하여 이러닝, e-마켓플레이스, IPTV에서의 특징과 기존의 이러닝 마켓플레이스들의 기능을 매트릭스를 통한 비교분석으로 기본요소를 추출하고, 이를 통하여 프레임워크를 구성한다. 또한 비즈니스모델 개발을 위하여 비즈니스모델설정, 참여자/역할, 제품/서비스 커버리지, 운영시나리오, 수익모델을 작성하고 이를 통하여 실제적으로 비즈니스모델의 구현이 가능한지를 검증한다.

  • 최근 e-러닝의 확산 속도에 따른 많은 문제점도 발생되고 있으며 그중 가장 큰 이슈가 e-러닝 사이트에 대한 평가인데 즉, 제공하는 사이트의 서비스품질이 사용자들에게 얼마만큼의 성과를 통한 만족을 가져다 줄 수 있는지에 대한 문제이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 e-러닝의 사업 분류 중 일반인과 학생을 교육대상으로 하는 B2C e-러닝 사이트의 서비스품질 결정요인이 개인성과, 사용자만족, 재이용의향 등에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 연구목적에 따른 결과를 토대로 e-러닝 사이트의 벤더가 사용자들에게 고품질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최우선적으로 고려해야 할 요인들과 전략적 시사점을 제시하여 실제적인 e-러닝의 활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

  • This paper presents a model of e-learning based on ubiquitous computing configuration. First of all, we survey the advanced e-learning systems for foreign and domestic universities. Next we propose the optimal e-learning model based on ubiquitous computing configuration. The proposed e-learning model as following. we propose the e-learning system's hardware and software configurations, that are server and networking systems. Also, we construct the proposed e-learning systems's services. There are attendance and absence service, class management service, common knowledge service, score processing service, facilities management service, personal management service, personal authorization issue management service, campus guide service, lecture-hall management service. Then we propose the laboratory equipment management service, experimental materials management service etc. The proposed model of e-learning based on ubiquitous computing configuration will be able to contribute to the next generation university educational paradigm.

  • Recently, MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), which has the characteristics of open content, has been changing the paradigm of university education as it is being serviced by various universities. In addition, MOOC based e-learning service has been developed into various types. The quality management of MOOC-based e-learning services has been studied on the general factors provided by MOOC regardless of MOOC type so far. In this study, we propose a method to improve the quality management of MOOC - based e - learning service by analyzing the factors affecting the quality of e - learning service by MOOC type.

  • 최근 딥러닝의 급격한 발전에 따라, 다양한 영상처리에 기반한 새로운 어플리케이션과 서비스가 개발되어지고 있다. 이러한 다양한 서비스들이 동작되는 플랫폼이 다양하고, 리소스에 제약이 많은 경우가 있어 일반적으로 이러한 딥러닝 기반 영상처리 서비스에서는 클라우드를 이용한 백엔드 서비스를 이용하는 경우가 많다. 그러나, 알고리즘 개발단계에서는 클라우드 백엔드 서비스가 적절하지만, 실제로 제품 및 서비스의 필드 적용에 있어서는 클라우드 사용에 따른 제약이 상당한 걸림돌로 작용한다. 그리하여 본 논문에서는 다양한 디바이스의 영상 데이터를 로컬 또는 기관에 있는 충분한 자원 활용이 가능한 서버로 전송하여 프로세싱 후 실시간 결과를 feedback받을 수 있는 효율적인 back-end 딥러닝 영상분석 서비스 프레임워크를 제안한다.

  • The e-learning market in korea has been growing rapidly over the past several years. We selects the variables well matched to service quality of e-learning site on the basis of independent variables of this study, sets the models as adding the factors newly noticed such as convenience of site use in e-learning. We also see the significance of the relationships between service quality of e-learning site, personal performance, customer satisfaction and customer's reuse intention.
