Childcare Teachers' Use of Strategies to Promote Peer Social Competence of Young Children and Difficulties in Implementing Strategies (보육교사의 유아간 상호작용 촉진전략 사용실제와 전략 사용시 겪는 어려움)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine practice of strategies childcare teachers use in order to promote peer interaction among young children and difficulties in implementing strategies by using mixed methodology. The participants of current study were 155 inservice childcare teachers and they completed SIPPY questionnaire. To investigate strategy practice with difficulties, 44 teachers participated in theme writing and 3 teachers were interviewed. SIPPY data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 and theme writing and interview transcripts were coded by qualitative analysis procedure. Results are as follows; First, teachers in this study use more environmental and naturalistic activity strategies than intensive strategies. Depending on educational experience and education level, there was a statistically significant difference. Second, participants reported various natural activity strategies that they use in the classroom such as compliments, modeling, suggestion, cooperative activity plan. Based on the analysis of qualitative data, four categories of difficulties were presented such as environmental component, disconnection with families, child individual characteristics, and teacher component. Implications were discussed in terms of teacher education and teacher driven professional development program.

A Study on Daily Lives of the Disabled in Residential Facilities -Focusing on Daily Life Activities and Interactions by the Daily Time use Method- (거주시설 성인 지적장애인의 일상에 관한 연구 -생활시간조사를 활용한 일상생활활동과 상호작용 분석을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate daily lives of the intellectually disabled living in residential facilities. The daily time use method that monitors and records 24 hours of the subject was used for the analysis of daily lives of the institutionalized disabled and verbal interaction patterns within each facility. In particular, the analysis focused on 'frequency of activities' and 'lives', with the method of time budget. Based on the activity category table of the 2004 nationwide Time Use Survey, the analysis aimed to identify differences and similarities between the non-disabled and the disabled in terms of daily time use. The interaction pattern analysis method on grounds of the Flanders Category system(1963) indicates the level, the type, and the full details of interaction between the institutionalized disabled and the living rehabilitation teachers. This study is all the more significant in that it monitored the daily lives of the institutionalized disabled for the first time to allow in-depth understanding about the daily lives of the disabled; analyzed interaction patterns between the institutionalized disabled and living rehabilitation teachers; applied time budget study method, a frequently used one in adjacent fields, and therefore should serve as a valuable source material for future studies.

Study of interaction of teachers and family for behavior problems and social skills of children with autism (교사와 가족의 상호작용이 초등부 자폐성장애 아동의 문제행동과 사회성 기술에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of teacher and family interaction on behavior problems and social skills of children with autism spectrum disorder. Survey method was performed with 147 pair samples of a teacher and parents of a child with autism to analyze the influence toward behavior problems and social skills. Samples have been classified into three groups such as the high group in which there exists high interaction level in both teacher and family, middle group in which there exists high interaction level in either teacher or family and low group in which there exists low interaction level in both teacher and family. The results show that the correlation between teacher interaction and social skill of autism children is significant and the level of social skills of high interaction group is higher than that of the middle and low interaction group.

A Study on Learning Support based on the analysis of learning process in the college of Engineering (공과대학생들의 학습 과정 분석에 기초한 학습지원 방안 연구 : 수도권 S대 사례를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest some direction to support learning of students in college of engineering. It results from the assumption that engineering education accreditation should come with assessment of the educational process. To analyze the learning process, this study analyzed 5 categories - involvement in and out of instruction, faculty-student interaction, teaching-learning outcomes, and the system of student support. The Research method was questionnaire, and T-test and hierarchical linear model were used. The major findings are as follows. Major-level of satisfaction in teaching-learning and optional-level of satisfaction in teaching-learning are good. But the degree of self-directed learning activities and student-faculty interaction is low, and writing attitude and learning outcomes are not good. Student-faculty interaction, high-order thinking activities and active involvement have a good influence on learning outcomes. So this study suggests to enhance active involvement in instruction, high-order thinking activities, writing skills, and interaction with faculty for the improvement of quality of higher education.

Use of Dietary Supplements and Their Interactions with Prescription Drugs in the Elderly with Chronic Diseases in a Community Pharmacy (지역약국 방문 만성질환 노인환자의 건강보조식품 복용실태와 처방의약품과의 상호작용 연구)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 약국을 방문하는 만성질환을 가진 노인 환자의 건강보조식품 복용여부와 그 종류 및 복용 양상을 알아보고 개별 환자의 처방의약품 목록과 함께 분석하여 발생 가능한 건강보조식품과 처방의약품의 상호작용을 평가하는 데 있다. 본 연구는 지역 약국을 방문한 만 65세 이상의 만성질환을 가진 노인환자를 대상으로 하였다. 먼저, 만성질환 노인환자의 건강보조식품 복용실태 파악을 위해, 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 처방의약품과 건강보조식품 간의 상호작용 여부 및 정도를 파악하기 위한 문헌검색은 2011년 4월까지 출간된 논문을 대상으로 PubMed를 통하여 이루어졌으며, 설문에 응답한 환자의 처방의약품 목록을 검토하여, 현재 동시 복용중인 건강보조식품과 처방의약품이 상호작용을 유발할 가능성이 있는지 파악하였다. 설문에 응답한 만성질환 노인환자 65명(45.5%)이 건강보조식품을 최근 6개월간 꾸준히 복용하고 있었으며 그 중 홍삼이 가장 많은 비율로 34명(31.8%)이 복용 중 이었다. 설문에 응답한 환자의 처방의약품 목록과 복용 중인 건강보조식품 목록을 분석한 결과, 건강보조식품을 복용 중이라고 응답한 65명 중 13명(20.0%)의 환자가 현재 복용하는 처방의약품과 잠재적 (potential) 또는 가능한 (possible) 상호작용이 있는 건강 보조식품을 동시에 복용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 건강보조식품과 처방의약품간의 상호작용에 대한 적극적인 복약지도와 실태 조사를 통해 만성질환 노인 환자에서의 상호작용 발생을 예방함으로써 보다 안전하고 효과적인 의약품 사용이 가능해 질 것으로 사료된다.

How Watching Stock Market Channels Influences Invest Intentions of People in Twenties: Focus on the Para-social Relationship with Influencers on YouTube (유튜브 주식방송 시청이 20대 투자자의 주식 투자 의도에 미치는 영향: 인플루언서와의 준사회적 상호작용을 중심으로)

  • As interest in stock markets is growing recently in Korea, more investors in their twenties are using the information provided by personal broadcasting channels on YouTube. This study explores how watching the stock market channels on YouTube influences watching behaviors and investment intentions. A structural equation modeling analysis of survey data from 219 adults in the twenties revealed that the perceived credibility of and para-social interaction with the YouTube influencers affected continued viewing intentions. The findings also showed that the effect of identification with the influencers on viewing satisfaction was more prominent when identification mediated the effect of para-social interaction on viewing satisfaction. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

Relationship between Peer Interaction, Self-regulation and Leadership of Young Children: Analysis on Mediating Effect of Self-Regulation (유아의 또래 상호작용, 자기조절과 리더십간의 관계 연구: 자기조절의 매개효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between peer interaction, self-regulation and leadership of young children, and examine the mediating effect of self-regulation ability in the effect of peer interaction on the leadership of young children. The subjects of the study were 211 children aged 4 to 5 who attended in child education institutes in the Seoul-Incheon area. A survey was conducted on teachers who worked in kindergartens and day care centers with questionnaires, and the collected data were analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS WIN 21 program was used to calculate mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis, and correlation analysis was conducted. Also, the structural equation model was validated using Amos 21, and the following results were obtained. First, the positive peer interaction, self-regulation and leadership of children were positively associated. Second, the peer interaction did not have a significant effect on the leadership of young children, and the self-regulation of young children had a positive effect on the leadership of young children. It was found that peer interaction had a positive effect on the self-regulation of young children, and in the relationship of effects on the leadership of young children, the self-regulation was found to play a role of significant mediating effect. Such results are remarkable elements in leadership education for young children, implying the importance of peer interaction and self-regulation of young children.

  • 새로운 재료의 개발과 사용 중인 기존재료의 손상을 판단하기 위해서 변형 중 재료 거동을 정확히 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만, 대부분의 공학 재료는 다결정으로 이루어져 결정 상호작용의 규명이 복잡하여 정밀한 분석이 어렵다. 고에너지 X-ray 회절실험법을 이용한 다결정 고체 거동의 측정기법이 발전함에 따라 해석을 통한 실험법의 검증 및 추가 분석 방법에 대해서도 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 특정 결정과 주변 결정 간의 결정간 방위차(intergranular misorientation)의 상호작용에 의한 결정 거동 영향을 조사하였다. 결정간 방위차를 정의하고 결정 응력 방향 변화를 단결정 항복면 꼭지점과 방향과 비교함으로써 결정간 방위차의 변화에 대한 결정 응력 변화를 분석하였다. 소성 발생이 증가함에 따라 결정 응력의 방향은 단결정 항복면 꼭지점으로 이동하지만 결정간 방위차에 의해서 응력 분포가 변화함을 정량적으로 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 생물체의 세포 내에 존재하는 방대한 객체들 사이의 복잡한 관계들로 표현되는 상호작용 네트워크를 효율적으로 구축할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 바이오 도메인 지식을 사용하여 상호작용 네트워크를 관리 및 활용하기 쉽도록 구축하고, 단백질과 같은 단순 바이오 객체뿐만 아니라 여러 개의 바이오 객체들로 구성된 복합 객체도 관리 할 수 있다. 여기서, 사용자가 바이오 객체들과 이들간의 복잡한 상호작용 관계를 직관적으로 정의 할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공한다. 또한, 정의된 객체 및 상호작용 관계 정보를 이용하여 바이오 네트워크를 개념적으로 단순하게 표현할 수 있으며, 시각적으로도 네트워크를 자동으로 최적화하여 사용자가 복잡한 네트워크를 쉽게 분석 할 수 있도록 지원한다.

  • 최근 페이스북 (Facebook), 유투브 (YouTube) 등과 같은 소셜 미디어 서비스가 인기를 얻고 있다. 그러나 기존의 사용자 경험에 대한 이론으로는 사용자간 상호작용에 중점을 둔 소셜 미디어 상의 사용자 경험을 충분히 설명하기에 부족한 면이 있다. 본 연구에서는 경험에 대한 철학적인 고찰을 통해 기존 사용자 경험 개념을 보완하는 개념인 공동경험을 재정의하였다. 촉지적 상호작용을 통해 사용자들간에 향상된 품질의 상호작용이 가능해져, 사용자들의 공동경험 지각이 증가한다는 가설을 검증하기 위해 실험 목적의 소셜 미디어 시스템을 구축하고 그 시스템 상에서 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과에 대한 분석과 연구의 의의가 제시되어 있다.
