Close-fitting enclosure design for small generator (군용 소형 발전기의 차음상자 설계)

  • 1~10kVA 대의 소형 발전기는 엔진, 알터네이터와 제어기로 구성되어 있다. 소형 발전기의 소음은 주로 엔진에서 발생하며, 이 소음은 전투 중 아군의 위치를 적군에게 노출시킬 수 있으므로 소음 저감이 요구된다. 소형 발전기의 소음을 저감하는 방법으로 차음상자를 이용할 수 있다. 소형 발전기의 경우 이동이 용이하여야 하므로 무게 및 부피가 연료의 소모, 엔진의 내구성 등에 비해 더 중요시 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소형 발전기의 이동의 용이성을 고려하여 사람이 들 수 있는 가벼운 무게의 근접(close-fitting) 차음상자를 설계하고자 한다.

Paperboard Box Laminated with Functional MA Film for Freshness Extension of Squash(Cucurbita moschata) (기능성 필름이 부착된 골판지상자에 포장한 애호박의 신선도에 미치는 효과)

  • Squash(Cucurbita moschata) during 7 days of storage at 2$0^{\circ}C$ were packed with functional MA film laminated in corrugated paperboard box(FC), LDPE pouches and control, and weight loss, firmness, chlorophill contents, vitamin C and marketability was erluated. Weight loss of control was 5.8% after 7 days, and 30LD, 50LD was 0.4%, and FC was 1.2%. Firmness of FC, 30LD and 50LD was higher than that of control. Chlorophill content of squash between control and FC box was 46.43 and 53.66 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml, that of FC box was 15.6% higher than control. Total ascorbic acid cpntent(TAA) of squash packed with control and FC box were 28.11 and 35.65mg%, TAA of squash packed with FC box was 26.8% higher than that of control. Marketability of squash packed with FC box was better than that of control.

  • In the combat environments at the sea, the naval ships should have enough structural integrity to perform the task under the enemy's attack and possible damages. Although the naval ships can be damaged from the enemy's attack, those damages should be minimized and the naval ships must maintain their combat capabilities continuously after recoveries from the damages. Therefore, it is ve교 important for modem naval ships, especially combat naval ships, to ensure the survivability. This paper reviewed the developing procedure for the technique of the naval ships structures and described method, especially box girder system considering survivability. The efficiency of box girder is examined by numerical simulation, and it is found that the establishment of box girder is a good design method to improve the survivability.

Freshness Extension of Tomatoes by Packaging Methods (포장 방법에 따른 토마토의 품질변화)

  • This study was measured weight loss, total ascorbic acids, titratable acidity and soluble solids contents to investigate the effect of EPS(expended polystrene foam) box, double wall corrugated paperboard box and LDPE film pouches during storage at 25oC. The rate of weight loss was 5.9% in corrugated paperboard box after 7 days, but those of 20LD, 40LD film and EPS box were 1.1, 1.0, and 1.1% , respectively. Total ascorbic acid content of EPS box was 20% higher than that in corrugated paperboard box, but the obvious differents were not observed among the LDPE film pouches and EPS box. The titratable acidity was decrease during storage, but total soluble solids content was increase. Overall appearences of LDPE pouches and EPS box were better than those of corrugated paperboard box.

  • Electron spin resonance (ESR) is one of an experimental choice for studying magnetic materials that have one or more unpaired electrons. ESR spectroscopy finds its wide applications in branches of science encompassing physics, chemistry, biology, medicine and quantum computation. In this brief review we introduce a basic principle of ESR and describe how to extract information on g-factor, spin and orbital states from the ESR spectral parameters. Finally, several examples are discussed with an intention to have a practical feeling of what ESR can do in magnetism.

Phase Transition Temperature Shift of a Ferromagenetic Gadelonium Film due to the Finite-Size Effects (Finite-Size Errect에 의한 강바성 Gd박막의 상전이온도 이동)

  • Abstract We report the result of measurement for the ferro-to paramagnetic phase transition temperature shift of a gadolinium film. The phase transition temperature has been determined by measuring the resistance changes of film as function of temperature. At the ferro-to paramagnetic transition temperature, we can observe the inflection point of resistance changes. The phase transition temperature of 6600$\AA$ gadolinium film is found to be shifted by 4 $\pm$ 0.$3^{\circ}C$ below the transition temperature of bulk gadolinium. This is the first measurement for the phase transition temperature shift of ferromagnetic gadolinium film. This and further results might give a milestone in resolving the differences between experiments and finite-size scaling theory.

Energy Level Calculation of Fe3+ Paramagnetic Impurity Ion in a LiTaO3 Single Crystal (LiTaO3 단결정 내의 Fe3+ 상자성 불순물 이온에 대한 에너지 준위 계산)

  • Ground state energy levels of the $Fe^{3+}$ paramagnetic impurity ion in stoichiometric $LiTaO_3$ and in congruent $LiTaO_3$ single crystals were calculated with electron paramagnetic resonance constants. Energy levels between six energy levels were obtained with spectroscopic splitting parameter g and zero field splitting constant D for $Fe^{3+}$ ion. The energy diagrams of $Fe^{3+}$ ion were different from different magnetic field directions ([100], [001], [111]) when magnetic field increases. The calculated ZFS energies of $Fe^{3+}$ ion in stoichiometric and congruent $LiTaO_3$ single crystals for ${\mid}{\pm}5/2$ > ${\leftrightarrow}{\mid}{\pm}3/2$ > and ${\mid}{\pm}3/2$ > ${\leftrightarrow}{\mid}{\pm}1/2$ > transitions were 12.300 GHz and 6.150 GHz, and 59.358 GHz and 29.679 GHz, respectively. It turns out that energy levels of $Fe^{3+}$ paramagnetic impurity in $LiTaO_3$ crystal are different from different crystal growing condition.

  • A study on the structural dissipation energy and crushing strong is presented for the axially compressed straight square box column and off-axially compressed tapered box column. A new formula on the energy dissipation and crushing strength of the tapered box column is proposed, where the tapered box column is replaced by the equivalent straight square box column. It is seen that the theoretical solutions agree well with experimental results.
