  • LBS (Location Based Service) services are very useful to our daily life and it should be available inside a building: a huge building, a shopping mall, a large scale underground shopping center, and so on where GPS (Global Positioning System) signal is not available. An LBS which is provided inside a building is called an ILBS (Indoor Location Based Service). One of the most important techniques for ILBS development is indoor positioning. Among the indoor positioning techniques, APs (access points) of WLAN based ones are most economical because WLAN is available almost everywhere. Meanwhile, the web service has been proved to be an excellent practice of software reuse. Therefore, if indoor positioning is provided in the form of web service to programmers then development of ILBS would be greatly accelerated. This paper introduces the AP based trilateration and K-NN indoor positioning and RFID based indoor positioning web services we have developed.

Combining Ability of Japonica Rices for Salinity Tolerance at Seedling Stage (자포니카 벼 품종의 유묘 내한성에 대한 조합능력)

  • This experiment was conducted to evaluate the combining ability of japonica rices for improving the salinity tolerance at seedling stage. Nine varieties used in partial diallel analysis included three varieties of each tolerant, moderately tolerant and susceptible one. Twelve-day-old seedlings were grown in saline solution, initially at an EC of 6 dS /m for four days, followed by an EC of 12 dS /m for 20 days. The agronomic characters at seedling stage such as plant height, dry shoot weight and dry root weight were measured to analyze for combining ability of the parents. General combining ability(GCA) and specific combining ability(SCA) effects were highly significant for all tested parameters. However, mean squares for GCA were about five times larger than that for SCA suggesting the preponderance of additive gene action. Among tolerant varieties, Gaori and Namyang 7 were good combiner for improving the salinity tolerance at seedling stage in GCA as well as SCA.

A Study on the Improvement Method of the Fire Department Connection for Fire Fighting at the Shopping Center Building (상가건물 소방용 연결송수관설비 송수구의 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • Currently, the number of a shopping center building is increasing because most people want to go a shopping center building easily for buying many things and eating some foods. That are a normal trend these days. However, the increasing number of shopping center buildings has been increasing the number of shopping center building fires which also have been making social problems. Therefore, this study was conducted for the fire department connection among other fire facilities because it is important for fire suppression. The research subject is on the fire department connections that are on 70 shopping center buildings of more than 5 years old constructed. Survey and analysis were conducted for 70 fire department connections. The result of this study is that all installed fire department connections have a type that includes one or two holes each at 65mm wide, and the average distance between fire department connections and access roads is 4.85m. The total average percentage of insufficiency conditions such as drive ways for fire trucks, visibility, accessibility, pressure range sign, installed height, cover of the hole, etc. is 45.3%. So improvement of law and systems, that are fire facility construction and maintenance implementations, will be needed in my opinion.

  • The uses of land were relatively simple in the old days, but they are being expanded rapidly to the aboveground and underground due to the urban concentration, the large-scale urban development and so on in these days. Accordingly, the concept of the rights to lands grows from 2D to 3D, and many studies about the 3D cadastral information have been performed in recent years. Several studies were performed about the construction and the visualization of the 3D cadastral information, but most of them focused on the 3D visualization of the buildings and facilities. However, it is more desirable to visualize the individual objects of the rights to lands while considering 'the information on the rights' as well as the 'physical information'. Therefore it is supposed to construct and use the 3D cadastral information based on the individual objects of the rights in this paper. The level of the cadastral information will be upgraded by making and describing more detailed 3D cadastral information through this paper. And also the applicability of the 3D cadastral information will be improved when it is used with the real estate information, the demographic information and many others.

A Case Study of Blast Demolition at Chung-Ang Department Store in Daejeon City (대전 중앙데파트 발파해체 사례)

  • Recently, construction techniques have been rapidly developed with reconstruction of old buildings, urban regeneration and efforts of restoring natural ecology, so demolition of deteriorated buildings has been rapidly increasing. Demolition work of building should be executed without damaging surrounding environments according to relevant regulations. There are various demolition methods and among them, explosives demolition is the most practical way for expenses and safety of work. As a part of Daejeon stream ecological restoration project, this thesis is a case of executing demolition of Chung-Ang Department Store which was built 35 years ago as covered structure on the upper part of Daejeon stream with explosives demolition. This structure is 8 stories high, total height of 41.6 m including basement floor, $1,650m^2$ for building area and $18,351m^2$ for total floor area. It is located in the center of Daejeon city where shopping centers and buildings are crowded and main facilities are Daejeon subway (18m), backside shopping center (20m), underground shopping center(15m), Mokchuk bridge, Eunjung bridge(0.25m) and fiber-optic cable(0.25m). In this project, implosion was selected for explosives demolition methods by considering this area being a busy urban area, and this project was executed after examining collapse movement of structure in advance using simulation program not to damage main facilities. Total 80kg of explosives and 1,000 detonators were being used. This project will be a good case of executing explosives demolition successfully by applying implosion on urban area in the country.

Safety Performance Evaluation of Technical Independence 5kW Class Fuel Cell System (기술자립형 5kW급 건물용 연료전지시스템 안전성능 평가)

  • 최근 국내에서 발생된 대규모 정전사태로 인해 안정적인 전력공급에 대한 국민들의 요구가 커져, 지난 3월 일본 후쿠시마 원전사고 이후 다시 한번 분산전원에 대한 필요성이 대두되어지고 있다. 여러 분산전원 중 연료전지는 다른 에너지원에 비해 에너지의 지속성이 우수하여 가장 안정적인 분산전원 형태의 하나이다. 이에 따라 국내의 경우 우수한 도시가스 인프라로 인해 건물용 연료전지라는 신기술에 대한 국민의 수용성은 점점 높아질 것으로 기대된다. 현재 건물용 연료전지의 경우, 주로 1kW급 연료전지가 시범보급되어 각 가정에 설치되어지고 있으나, 상가, 주유소 및 편의점 등의 상업시설과 생활관 및 소형빌라 등의 집단 주거시설 같은 1kW급 보다 용량을 더 필요로 하는 응용처에 국내에서 개발된 5kW급 연료전지시스템이 적용되어지기를 기대한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 제작된 5kW급 고분자전해질 연료전지시스템의 보급이전에 안전성능 평가를 통해 시스템의 성능 및 안전성 평가결과를 제조사에 피드백 하여 5kW급 건물용 연료전지시스템의 조기 상업화에 앞장서고자 한다. 5kW급 연료전지시스템의 기술개발은 핵심부품인 연료변환기, 스택 및 BOP 기술의 경우 1kW급 연료전지시스템에 적용된 것과는 다른 기술이 필요하고, 단순한 scale-up 과정이 아닌 새로운 기술개발로 제품에 적용시켜야 하는 난점을 가지고 있다. 특히, 연료변환기의 경우 연료 유량의 증가로 인하여 reformer, CO shift 및 Prox 반응기의 유체역학, 열교환 흐름 및 촉매반응 공학적으로 이론을 응용한 새로운 반응기 설계와 제작기술 확립이 선행되어 전체적인 시스템 제작 설계에 반영되어져야 한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 연료전지시스템 안전성능 평가를 위해 용량증대에 따른 안전성평가 항목을 검토하고, 5kW급 연료전지시스템평가를 수행하여 시스템의 제품성능, 작동성능 및 계통연계성능에서의 안전성을 확인하였고, 정전 유풍과 같은 이상조건 및 실외 환경에 대한 시스템의 안전성도 확인하였다. 또한 부하운전 조건을 75% 및 50%로 변화시켰을 때 빠른 응답시간과 안정적인 부하변동운전을 확인하였다.

Implementing Special Transportation Management Zone System for Dongdaemoon Garment District (동대문 의류밀집상가 교통혼잡특별관리구역 사례연구)

  • The Purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of Special Transportation Management Zone system (TZ) when it is applied to Dongdaemoon commercial zone located in downtown Seoul. The study consists of two Parts ; the legal components of TZ and the case study on Dongdaemoon district. The case study includes the analysis of current traffic situation on the study zone, the design of implemention alternative for each component of TZ, the framework of impact analysis system, and the analysis results. The study finds, if 2,000 won mandatory parking fee on drivers parking in the buildings only with over 10 parking spaces and over 3.000$m^2$ in floor area, strong illegal parking enforcement, and Pro-hibition of parking passenger cars whose last digit plate number matches with the last digit of date, are implemented in the zone simultaneously, the traffic speed increases to 20.56km/h which is above the target set in the zone. In conclusion, we find that TZ2 can be an effective tool relieving traffic congestion in Seoul, and that it is necessary for introducing TZ in Seoul that relevant laws should be revised and expecting problems should be overcome.

Study on Problems and Its Improvements of Legislation for Shop Key Money (상가권리금 법제화의 문제점과 개선방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the contents of the legislation(2015.5.12.) for shop key money concretely and to find an effective way in making an improvement of practical protection in the process of tenant's shop key money collection. From this point of view, this study tries to make some legislative suggestions as follows. First of all, the code of conflicting definition between 'shop key money' and 'shop key money contract' in the amended Commercial Building Lease Protection Act need to be harmonized with each other because they are likely to face potential problems in the protection of tenant's shop key money collction as well as risks for confusion. In the second place, it requires to strengthen the protection of tenant's shop key money collection by approval of direct opposing power of shop key money itself on condition that it satisfies a certain prerequisites. In addition, the ambiguous codes related to the landlord's disturbance should be distinctly arranged and the distribution principle of demonstration about landlord's disturbance on tenant's shop key money collection also should be made clear. Finally, the standard level of shop key money by region, business district, and category of business should be set and announced by Ministry of Land and Transport.

  • 최근 국제 표준 및 규격의 국내 도입에 따라 다양한 접지 방식에 대한 안전성과 신뢰성이 요구되고 있으나, 현재 국내 규정은 국제 규격과 부합되지 않는 측면이 있다. 따라서, 국내 건축물의 접지시스템에 대한 정확한 현장 실태를 바탕으로 국내 실정에 맞는 접지시스템의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 아파트, 공장, 상가, 학교 등의 신축 건물에 시설된 접지방식 및 등전위 본딩 실태 등을 현장 조사를 중심으로 분석하였다. 접지실태조사는 접지방식, 접지단자의 접속방식, 공결방식, 접지요소간의 접속방식 등을 분석하였으며, 등전위 본딩 실태조사는 IEC 60364에 규정된 방법을 근거로 계통외 도전성 부분과 기기외함의 연속성을 평가하였다.

  • 급격한 산업화와 도시화는 인구, 산업시설, 교통 등의 증가를 가져왔고, 점차 부족해지는 지상공간의 효율적 활용을 위해 건물이 고도화되고 건물의 공간 배치 계획이 수립되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 확장하는 도시화에 따른 지상공간의 부족은 공간이용의 고도화를 위해 지하도로, 지하상가, 지하철, 지하공동구, 변전소와 같은 다양한 형태의 지하공간 개발로 이어져 도시는 지상공간과 지하공간이 혼재하는 매우 복잡한 구조를 가지게 되었다. 최근 기후변화와 국지성 집중호우로 인해 도시 배수시스템의 설계용량을 초과하는 유효강우량의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있고, 이것은 지상의 침수뿐만 아니라 지하공간에서의 침수로 이어지고 있다. 하지만, 도시홍수 모델링 연구는 주로 지상에서의 홍수류가 지하공간으로 유입되는 것을 고려하지 않거나, 지상과 지하공간의 침수를 독립적으로 구분하거나, 두 공간의 연계를 고려하더라도 지상과 지하공간의 침수 해석을 모두 수행하는 방향으로 이루어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 도시침수해석에서 지상과 지하공간을 간단한 연계를 위한 2가지 방법 (경계조건형과 폰드형)을 제안하고, 지하공간이 도시침수해석에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 제안한 방법을 2010년 9월 21일 발생한 집중호우로 인하여 큰 침수피해가 발생한 효자배수분구의 광화문 일대에 적용하기 위해, 1차원 SWMM으로 계산된 맨홀의 월류량으로 2차원 도시침수모형에 경계조건으로 이용하였으며, 지하공간을 고려하지 않은 경우와 고려한 경우(경계형, 폰드형)에 대한 해석을 수행하고 실측된 홍수범람범위와 침수심을 실측치와 비교하여 계산의 정확성과 효율성을 분석하였다.
