A Study on Causal Relations among BSC Performance Measurement Indexes - Focused on the case of C University Hospital - (BSC 성과측정지표간의 인과관계에 관한 연구 - C대학병원 사례 중심으로 -)

  • The present study purposed to examine whether BSC, a management renovation method, is as effective in university hospitals, which are non-profit institutions, as it is in profit-making corporations. In order to determine causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes, we analyzed a case of university hospital using a structural equation model. The results of analyzing the causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes were all statistically significant, and therefore the research hypotheses were all accepted. Future research needs to study causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes from the viewpoint of the learning of financial data, growth, internal processes, and customers.

  • Modern times are called 'the system and fusion era'. One system has been compounded with the other system repeatedly, and the new systems form a great mixed system again and again. Discrete electronic devices have been integrated as one semiconductor system and have been unified as a great mixed system frequently. This study proposes a module based 2-year college electronic engineering curriculum focused on system and integrated circuit design. This curriculum is devised to be suitable for the industrial environment, especially in the school-industry cooperation, and is recomposed to promote the organic union of interdisciplinary courses. The newly designed course has been developed as a multi semester module model which enables a practical field training and in-depth study.

  • 현대사회는 전통적인 경제체제에서 디지털 경제체제로의 급속한 이전과 더불어 정보기술이 국가발전의 주요 원동력으로 등장하게 되었다. 특히, e-정부의 출현은 기존의 정부서비스에 대한 시공간적 제약을 극복하는 새로운 패러다임으로 간주되고 있다. 본 연구는 e-정부 실현을 위한 대표적인 사례로 KICIT을 중심으로 정보기술의 활용사례와 더불어 EC-Bank를 중심으로 한 지방정부의 사이버 마케팅에 대한 사례연구를 통해 e-정부의 조기 실현을 위한 산업부문의 e-비즈니스화에 대한 하나의 대안으로 소개하였다. e-구미의 모형은 행정, 생활, 산업 차원에서의 네트워크화, 균형과 조화, 부문간의 연계로 시행정의 디지털화, 사이버 정보생활의 실현 및 산업의 e-비즈니스화의 실현을 중심으로 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 KICIT은 중소도시에 집중되어 있는 지역정보센터의 산학관 협력의 모델케이스로 효율적으로 운영되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이제는 구미지역 기업체와 연구교육기관에서 핵심적인 지원기관으로 지역관련기관과의 보다 유기적인 협력을 계속 유지. 발전해 나가야 할 것이다. 지자체의 사이버 마케팅 사례인 EC-Bank는 정보서비스를 단순히 제공하는 수준인 전자상거래의 초기단계로 사이트 및 콘텐츠 관리의 소홀로 인하여 초기의 목적을 거의 이루지 못한 실정이다. 앞으로 산학관의 친밀한 협력과 e-프로세스의 대혁신을 통해서 새로운 업무활용, 웹기반의 거래처리 및 e-비즈니스 모형의 창출을 위해 계속적으로 노력해야할 것이다.

  • The educational approach using Capstone Design is gradually expanding with the change in social and educational paradigms. Course development utilizing the Capstone Design in models in the department of fashion can create a positive effect in that it enhances the practical capabilities of the fashion model and expands the perspective of various fields related to fashion shows. This study proved the educational efficacy by applying the Capstone Design to the model work presentation course and investigating the implications of the design from the instructor's perspective. The research methods used to guide this course utilizing the Capstone Design were theatrical research and model development research. This study showed that learners' satisfaction for this course combined with Capstone Design was very high, and students were very satisfied with the progress of the class. The instructor's point of view in progressing this course showed the need for education from an in-depth and convergence perspective related to fashion, improvement of temporal and spatial utilization of space, concerns about establishing connections with experts and various industries, and expanding the scope of education through continuous exchanges and cooperation with industry.

  • The development of industry and the increase in the use of fossil fuels have accelerated the process of global warming and climate change, resulting in more frequent and intense natural disasters than ever before. Since electricity facilities are often installed outdoors, they are heavily influenced by natural disasters and the number of related accidents is increasing. In this paper, we analyzed the statistical status of domestic electrical fires, electric shock accidents, and electrical equipment accidents and hence analyzed the risk associated with climate change. Through the analysis of the electrical accidental data in connection with the various regional (metropolitan) climatic conditions (temperature, humidity), the risk rating and charts for each region and each equipment were produced. Based on this analysis, a basic electric risk prediction model is presented and a method of displaying an electric hazard prediction map for each region and each type of electric facilities through a website or smart phone app was developed using the proposed analysis data. In addition, efforts should be made to increase the durability of the electrical equipment and improve the resistance standards to prevent future disasters.

  • In this paper, we will provide the critical success factors(CSF) for successful northern american co-op programs which are very important and crucial for a unique Korean long-term Co-op(Co-Operative education) education model developed and will be implemented by Korea Tech by benchmarking US and Canadian universities' Co-op eduction model that has 100 years of history. We will discuss and analyze the education systems, strong and weak points of Co-op programs of University of Waterloo, Northeastern University and Drexel University by analyzing the information from various Co-op reports, Co-op manuals, 1:1 interviews with students, faculties and Co-op staff of those universities, etc.

BIM System Development for Conceptual Design and Pre-Feasibility Study of Cable-Stayed Bridge (BIM 기반 사장교의 개념설계 및 예가분석 시스템 개발)

  • This paper has developed the system for supporting the approximate construction cost and the quantity estimation based on 3D model information in the pre-project planning phase of 3-span continuous cable-bridge with 2-pylons. First of all, we'd analyzed the design information (structural design report, blueprint and quantity) of the existing cable-stayed bridges and derived the design variables of cable-stayed bridges. We developed the BIM wizard that generates a cable-stayed bridge model parametrically based on derived design variables. The principle material quantities of cable-stayed bridge are calculated directly from 3-dimensional bridge model built by using the BIM wizard. Then, we can estimate the construction cost in relation to its quantities and unit cost of cable-stayed bridge. In a result, we have established the system that the construction cost can be estimated more specific than the conventional method (construction estimates per meter or square meter). We hereby will be able to review various alternatives as soon as possible in bidding process.

  • IPP (Industry Professional Practice) is an educational model that combines academic study and industrial work through university-industry cooperation. Students would decide suitable career based on their IPP experience, that will lead a university graduate to improve their recruitment potential. IPP could also be a key to solve national employment problems as well as a chronic manpower supply and demand mismatch issue between university and industry. This paper discusses about an academic program operation for the IPP implementation, that includes operation plan for semester-based quarter system, a guideline for new curriculum, an academic credit allocation, evaluation guideline, a capstone design class operation, and interim measures.

  • This paper proposes a blockchain-based urban service-operation model that can enhance usability by integrating several data-driven services operated in a city. In the proposed model, in order to encourage the participation of service users, the providers of data and values that can be consumed and utilized by each service acquire incentives, and consumers can use various services by paying the incentives. In this way, the proposed service model provides a structure in which various services can be interworked within the incentive system. The characteristics of blockchain technology can also guarantee service operation and management transparency. In addition, in this paper, by establishing and operating a prototype, the efficiency and operability of the proposed model are verified. As a result, three implemented data-driven urban management services are organically inter-compatible based on the concept of the proposed integrated incentive system. In the future, the proposed service model can be applied as an elemental technology of urban operational and management architectures based on citizen participation using local currency, and by cooperating with local economic revitalization projects of interest to many local governments. It is expected that the expansion of the blockchain technology area will also be possible through convergence with smart city services.
