The purposes of this study were to identify influence of social networks and social support on depression among older women in rural area on agricultural off-season. The sample consisted of 112 women aged 65 years or over who lived in rural areas of Chung-Nam. Some variables related to depression in older women, including depression, social network, social support were measured using reliable instruments. Pathway analysis was used to test the proposed conceptual model designed to explain the direct, indirect and total effect between social networks and social support on depression. Result, direct effect of satisfaction with kin network and instrumental support on depression was found. And indirect effect of network size with kin, satisfaction with kin network on depression was found. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop supportive system to reduce depression and to improve satisfaction with kin network and instrumental support.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of caregiving burden of a developmentally disabled child on marital conflict and to examine the moderating effects of social support and social activities. For the purpose, a total of 124 mothers of developmentally disabled children who were enrolled at specialized school in Incheon were surveyed from May 15, 2011 to May 31, 2011 by using self-reported questionnaires. Our analysis on the data suggested as follows: first of all, the burden from caregiving a developmentally disabled child was a significant predictor of marital conflict. In addition, informal social support and participation in social activities moderated the relationship between the caregiving burden and marital conflict. Based on the findings, we provide measures to resolve the family problems of those with a disabled child.

지구적 차원의 물부족 현상은 우리에게도 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있으며, 이에 대처하기 위한 방안의 하나로 지표수-지하수 연계이용이 거론되고 있다. 지표수와 지하수 연계이용은 유역의 지표 및 지하수자원을 수문학적 순환 사이클의 통합적 관점에서 파악하는 것으로부터 시작한다. 본 연구는 국내에서 지금까지 이렇다 할 사례가 없는 지표수-지하수 연계이용의 첫 단계로서 연계이용 가능지역을 선정하기 위한 체계적인 적지분석 방법론에 관한 것이다. 복잡한 의사결정 문제를 계층적으로 나누어 분석하는 기법(AHP)이 채택되었고, 분석에 필요한 의사결정인자가 도출되었다. 각 인자의 상대적 중요도가 정량화 된 후, 이를 바탕으로 특정 지역의 지표수-지하수 연계이용 적합도가 산정될 수 있다. 개발된 방법론을 국내 두 개 지역에 적용하여 그 적용성을 예시하였다 개발된 방법론에 의한 적합도 분석은 중앙정부나 지자체가 특정 지역의 연계이용 사업의 추진과 관련된 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 판단근거를 제공할 것이며, 지역 간 연계이용 우선순위를 평가하는데도 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The tap water supply in Korea mainly depends on the surface water. However, the advanced water purification process becomes a necessity due to the deterioration of surface water quality and the risk of accidental spill. High cost of water treatment and public concerns make the decision makers turn to riverbank filtration as an alternative to the surface water. Riverbank filtration has been employed for water supply in many developed countries for more than 150 years. In Korea, riverbank filtration has drawn attention since 1990s as a supply source having potential to stably meet the ever-increasing water demand. Some cities located in the Nakdong River Basin are currently supplying water through riverbank filtration. This work studies the site suitability analysis for riverbank filtration using game theory. Theory of games, which is a branch of applied mathematics used in social sciences (most notably economics), biology, engineering and computer science, was applied to candidate locations for the selection of riverbank filtration site. We proposed a policy game model as a new method adopting a probabilistic approach. The model developed turned out to be an effective tool for site selection.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ego-resilience and professionalism awareness on occupational stress of early childhood teachers. The subjects of this study were 154 early childhood teachers working at day care centers and kindergartens. The data and information were collected through questionnaires. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data with the SPSSWin 18.0 statistics program. The following results were shown: First, in regards to the relationship between ego-resilience, professionalism awareness and occupational stress, there were high correlations among them. Second, ego-resilience of early childhood teachers had a greater influence on occupational stress. Third, professionalism awareness of early childhood teachers had an influence on occupational stress. Forth, ego-resilience and professionalism awareness of early childhood teachers had influences on occupational stress, and their explained variance was 28%. These results imply that the support systems shoud be prepared to improve positive thoughts and attitudes of early childhood teachers.

Recently, our society is affected by frequent occurrence of disaster such as local heavy rain and landslide. So, disaster organization and facility are stepping up their efforts to establish an effective disaster information system. Especially, researches of smartphone based disaster information service are conducted actively because smartphone becomes an ubiquitous to society and has various advantages. However, in general, these services only provide simple disaster information and do not consider several elements that is desired by the situation and conditions. Therefore, this paper establishes efficient disaster information service through implementation of application that connect disaster collection system and ability to search disaster information according the terms desired of user.

Agroforestry is an ecological and economic land-use system that enables sustainable agriculture by combining forestry, agriculture, and livestock industries. North Korea chose agroforestry as a strategy for the restoration of sloping land and deforested land. Agroforestry was proposed for the inter-Korean forest cooperation subcommittee meeting and is currently highlighting carbon removal and promoting the '2050 Carbon Neutral Strategy' and 'Korea Peninsula Green Détente.' The study area, Suan-gun, Hwanghaebuk-do, is a constant deforestation monitoring area and a pilot site for management by the International Center for Research in Agroforestry. The requirements for agroforestry were analyzed through literature analysis. The agroforestry site-suitability map was visualized by applying GIS overlap analysis. Approximately 8,839 ha of sloping area was selected as suitable for agroforestry management, which is about 15% of Suan. We compared the map with Google Earth images and visually detected the land use status, such as agroforestry in Suan, to verify the results. As a future study, we will consider both natural-environment and socioeconomic factors and evaluate the relative importance of the factors to produce a high-accuracy agroforestry sitesuitability map at the national scale with the goal of producing basic data for the inter-Korea forest cooperation policy for long-term goals.

Since the 1990s, the handmade shoes industrial agglomeration district has formed in the city center, Hyangchon-dong, Jung-gu in Daegu. This paper aims to examine the formation process, to analyze the viability, and to propose policy implications of manufacturing industrial districts in a city center through studying this industrial district. The district's creation began as the result of the dissolution of local production and marketing system of handmade shoes in the 1980s, the excellent accessibility of the location and an inexpensive rent. The district's core viability lies in the external economies derived from local networks through social divisions of labor of production and marketing systems. Because of the lack of organizers of the social division of labor and 'integrated production system done by single business', the effect of external economies created by the social division of labor is limited. To get over this limitation, the district should to be restructured into a 'cultural street of leather crafts' as a part of 'making modern historical and cultural belt' programs within Daegu downtown regeneration policies. To support the restructuring, public assistant measures such as the establishment of a corporate services center should be strengthened.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of interest in the elderly job project and resilience in the relationship between social support and retirement readiness of the MZ·X generation. This survey conducted reliability and frequency analysis, t/f-verification, descriptive statistical analysis, and analysis of reliability and frequency using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 27.0 programs on the collected data of 359 MZ and X generations of G, Y, and A cities in D and G provinces. Analysis was performed using correlation analysis and structural relationship statistics. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a significant correlation between the level of interest in the employment project for the elderly, social support, resilience and readiness for old age. Second, in the relationship between social support and retirement readiness, the degree of interest and resilience of the elderly job project were partially mediated. Therefore, in order to increase the MZ and X generations' interest in and resilience in the job projects for the elderly, the provision of emotional, evaluative, informational, and material support systems as a social support system and the elderly in government agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family A realistic policy of job business policy is needed.

Government-related organizations and institutions are stepping up their efforts to establish information system and service for disaster prevention because of the increasing occurrence of disaster. Therefore, they are collecting numerous disaster data using various way such as using mobile device or disaster history document. However, these method requires large amount of time and effort. Moreover, it is difficult to connects with another system because previous ways fall short of standard and connectivity. Therefore, this paper focused on collecting various disaster information using smartphone application and then complement the drawbacks of previous system.
