Women's welfare needs to claim a women-centered and independent welfare implementation line rather than simply staying within the framework of overall social welfare. A significant number of existing women's welfare programs have shown a tendency to protect women under the patriarchal premise. However, women's welfare in the future should go in the direction of helping women to improve the quality of life as an individual out of the limited frame of family. Providing compensation for protecting dependent families is also an important aspect of women's welfare. In other words, it is necessary to study how the government provides economic direct and indirect compensation to women who have lost the opportunity to participate in labor because they have to take care of children, the disabled, or the elderly. In addition, it is expected that welfare can be improved by inducing men's participation in reproductive activities through social education and relieving women's obligations to their families.

This study focuses on the right to self-determination, which has a higher possibility of infringement on rights, for people with developmental disabilities, who are more vulnerable to rights protection than other types of disabilities, and seeks to obtain implications of the basis for academic discussion and practical strategies. To this end, data were collected through a structured survey on 302 social workers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon area to identify the importance and execution degree of self-determination components of the developmental disabled, and descriptive analysis, differences. analysis, matrix analysis was applied. As a result of the analysis, the importance and performance degree were evaluated at an absolute level lower than the positive level, and the overall average standard execution degree was found to be applied relatively later, and the difference between the two levels was statistically significant. Meanwhile, goal setting and achievement, self-management and regulation, branch recognition and perception, etc. were identified as under-action elements as disparity between importance and performance. Therefore, in order to improve the balanced positivity of social workers and people with developmental disabilities in consideration of the reciprocity of human rights protection, applied behavior analysis, positive behavior support, and individualized service plan based on the application of a person-centered program and self-determination improvement program are applied. Suggestions were made on detailed strategies such as accounting.

The purpose of this study is to identify increasing needs for training students as managers in social service agencies and to suggest ways to develop the education of social welfare administration. Agency evaluations and performance management has increased demands for effectiveness and accountability of social service agencies, which also has increased the roles of managers in social service agencies. Using 'Korean Social Worker Survey' conducted by Korean Association of Social Workers, this study examines job characteristics of 2,479 social workers. The results show that administration/management activities take about 40% of social workers' daily activities. Community organization, human resource management, and planning/financial management are regarded as more important and difficult than other tasks. However, sufficient education for preparing students as social service managers is not provided in undergraduate and graduate level of college education. In addition, social workers make their life long careers as managers. Thus, the education of social welfare administration needs to refocus on the provision of knowledge and skills required for competent social service managers. This study suggests future directions for developing education of social welfare administration in undergraduate and graduate level of college education including field practice.

Korea Youth Panel (2008) has 2 panels of the 5th year of Knowledge data to perform statistical analysis and regression analysis, the risk factors in the risk conditions of the family of functional deficits, protective factors, the relationship between the mediating effect of psychological adaptation and protective factors verification mechanisms and the psychological adaptation level it is an objective to analyze the protective factors that protect the high youth. To investigate the differences by frequency analysis and personal characteristics of the analyte's was performed t test using PASW (Predictive Analytics Software) 18.0. And to verify the effect of the parameters is performed rank regression analysis for verification of the effects of protection factors for adaptation. Rather than focusing on youth risk factors in social welfare practice field, focusing on processes and protective factors to reduce the risk factors, it is possible to convert the viewpoint overlooking the youth exposed to risk factors. Also, for young people experiencing difficulties that features loss of the family, it is determined that the prepared foundation which can be provided in the direction of social welfare practical intervention.

Education is essential for specialists in charge terminal care of cancer patients. In the second 10-year plan to conquer cancer under the Cancer Control Act, the Korean government announced a plan to train more hospice and palliative care (HPC) specialists based on quantitative HPC expansion. Specifically, the government aims to develop e-learning programs to foster social workers in HPC, following those offered to doctors and nurses. In HPC, social workers have served a vital role in helping patients overcome psychological and social issues. As professionals, they have carried out their responsibilities and played their part in the field to help HPC to take root and be institutionalized in Korea. To date, it has been difficult to obtain practical knowledge and skills for social workers due to the lack of systematic training program. Development of an e-learning program for social workers, as proposed in this study, should strengthen social workers in charge of terminally-ill cancer patients in terms of their identity, expertise, and practical skills in clinical setting and improve their access to education. We also hope the program to be further developed by the government by introducing an education system that offers refresher courses to guarantee social workers' continued expertise through.

The objective of this study examined the effect of job characteristics on the job satisfaction of social worker employed by 1st social agency, hospitals. Data were collected by 240 social workers. Based on Hackman and Oldham's(1975) theory of core job characteristics, this study was to defined other element of job characteristics, in social worker's duties, focused on moderating effect of self-confidence for job satisfaction, and compared to social worker's job characteristics between 1st social agency and hospitals. The results of this study were summarized as follows; first, job autonomy, feedback among Hackman and Oldham's 5 core job characteristics showed positive influence on job satisfaction. The other job characteristics found out significantly effected social worker's job satisfaction than Hackman and Oldham's 5 core job characteristics. Second, identities of social worker's job, cognition of professional level, necessity, and self-confidence variables were found to have a statistically significant strong relationship with job satisfaction of 1st setting social worker. The other side, necessity, self-confidence, sex, social worker's academic career variables positive influenced medical social worker's job satisfaction. Third, the moderating variables which had significant difference among social worker's working conditions. 1st setting social worker's self-confidence partial moderated the effect of job characteristics on social worker's job satisfaction. But, medical social worker's self-confidence not moderated the effect of job characteristics on job satisfaction. As a result, Social worker's job satisfaction depended on job characteristics and self-confidence. Therefore, to assure the job satisfaction, redesign for social worker's job characteristics, reinforced their self-confidence. Staff-development education program, supportive environment, supervision program is strongly recommended.

The purpose of this study is to find influencing factors of the pay satisfaction of the social workers in the private sector and to suggest improvement plan. Therefore, we analyzed the overall condition of social workers' pay level and the factors affecting pay satisfaction. The main results are as follows. First, social workers had many female, advanced, disciplined, regular workers and were dissatisfied with the pay. Second, female, lower age, lower education level, higher level of pay, non - regular workers had higher pay satisfaction. Third, the main factors influencing pay satisfaction were the level of pay and welfare factors. Finally, we suggested practical and policy implications that reflect the factors of pay satisfaction of social workers.

The study looked into the effect of internet utilization (utilization frequency and utilization ability in internet) on the life satisfaction level for the elderly in depth. In order to verify the correlation of two variables, a mediating model structured by ego integrity was used which gave out the Seoul welfare panel data created by Seoul welfare foundation in 2010. The total sample size was a group of 1862 elders aged over 60. When it came to our research methods, structured equation analysis was applied to verify the mediating effect and theoretical background. The findings are as follows: First, elderly's utilization frequency in internet is not an influencing factor to life satisfaction and elderly's utilization ability in internet is an influencing factor to life satisfaction. Second, the level of social activity did function as partial mediator on relationship between elderly's utilization ability in internet and life satisfaction. This study indicates theoretical and practical interventions to promote elderly's utilization in internet.

This study is to investigate determinants of social workers' career commitment, compare the level of career commitment of social workeks by social work organization, and analyze the effects of career commitment on job attitudes. Social workers working for government agencies and community welfare centers and institutions in Busan city and Gyeongnam province were surveyed using structured questionnaires and 326 usable questionnaires were obtained. The questionnaires were analyzed for job, career, role, and organizational justice characteristics models and comprehensive model using SPSS/PC+.. The results are as follows; the level of social worker's career commitment was relatively high but the level of career commitment of social workers working for government agencies was slightly lower than that of social workers working for private agencies. According to the demographic characteristics, the level of career commitment of males was higher than that of famales. That of older workers was higher than that of younger worker, that of 2nd rank workers was higher than that of 1st rank workers. Task significance, task identity, feedback for the job done, career satisfaction, low role conflict, high distributive justice and interactive justice were related to higher level of career commitment while the skill variety was related to the lower level of career commitment. However, the main determinants differ according to the social work organization. Career commitment affected negatively on the career turnover intention while it affected positively on organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, job involvement, and intrinsic job satisfaction. Therefore, different approaches and systematic measures are needed according to the organization.

가정학은 현대 생활에서 떼어놓을 수 없는 한 부분이며, 사회 복지를 위해서 필수적인 요소이다. 사회, 경제, 기술, 문화적인 면에서의 여러 가지 변화는 가정학의 초점과 내용, 가정학이 여러 계층의 사람들과 가지는 관계에 영향을 미쳐왔다. 가족 생활형태의 변화는 가정학의 일반적인 원리나 가정학 교과과정의 내용 등과 같은 여러 차원에 영향을 준다. 가정학의 image를 우리 사회의 중요한 학문으로서 개선시키는 방법들이 연구되어져야 한다. 가정학은 변화하는 학문이며, 따라서 변이기중에 개선되기 쉽다. 가정학의 미래는 우리의 실천 정도와 현재 가정학에 종사하는 사람들의 생산성과 노력에 달려 있다. 지금까지의 가정학의 업적, 힘에 기반을 단단히 세움으로써 가정학은 사회의 급속히 변해가는 욕구에 보다 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 것이다. 가정학이 지니는 특이성은, 사회.경제의 주요 단위로서의 가족의 reinforcement, 산업사회로부터 정보 사회로의 급속한 이동, 새로운 기술들의 이용에 대한 도덕적.윤리적 문제, 경제적인 변호, 힘의 분산등과 같은 현 사회가 당면한 많은 도전에 대처해 나가는데 도움이 된다. 사회가 더욱 복잡해질수록 가정학은 새로운 차원을 추가하면서 적응해 나갈 것이다. 그러나 가정학의 특이성은 변하지 않고 그대로 남아 있을 것이다.
