  • Security measures for the current insurance crime has focused on the capture oriented and reactive response in the screening stage of insurance payments. However, since leaving the damages that can not be healed by post-punishment, it is necessary to take measures to prevent the insurance crimes in advance. In this paper, I would like to try to identify problems through analyzing the characteristics and cases of the insurance crimes, and to present alternatives to it. The problems with the current insurance system that causes the insurance crimes are, First, When signing the insurance contract, it is too inattentive to confirm about the credit status of the policyholder, duplicate join or not, whether voluntarily sign up etc. Second, a thorough investigation or criminal charges in case of insurance accident is not being done properly. Third, information exchange and management to malicious policyholders is not being done properly. Therefore, in order to guard people from insurance crimes, First, it should strengthen the audit of such credit conditions, accident experiences in the insurance contract at the policyholders. Second, we need to block insurance crimes in advance through the continuous upgrades of insurance fraud analysis systems and social network. Third, it is necessary to strengthen the surveillance systems for the insurance crimes by the information sharing.

  • Due to the spread of unreliable online information on the social network services, the users are faced with a difficult problem for determining if the information is trustworthy or not. At present, the users should make a decision by themselves throughly for the trustworthiness of the information. Therefore, we need a way to systematically evaluate the trustworthiness of information on the social network services. In this paper, we design a trust index, called KTI (Korean Trust Index for SNS), as a criterion for measuring the trust degree of the information on the social network services. Using KTI, the users are readily able to determine whether the information is trustworthy. Consequently, we can estimate the social trust degree based on the variation of KTI. This paper derives the various factors affecting trust from the properties of the social network services, and proposes a model to evaluate the trustworthiness of information that is directly produced and distributed over the online network. Quantifying the trust degree of the information on the social network services allows the users to make efficient use of the social network.

  • This study examines the contrasting effects of an aging workforce on organizational innovation and the moderating role of age diversity. By utilizing a knowledge-based view, this study asserts that an aging workforce can contribute to organizational innovation to some degree due to accumulated firm-specific knowledge and experiences as well as various social networks within and outside the firm. On the contrary, as the portion of an aging workforce increases, the negative effect of the aging workforce on organizational innovation can overwhelm the positive effects because of the limitations of new knowledge creation. In addition, this study explores the effect of age diversity to moderate the relationship between aging workforce and organizational innovation.Empirical findings showed that an aging workforce and organizational innovation had an inverted-U relationship, and age diversity moderated this curvilinear relationship as this study predicted. These theoretical arguments and empirical findings highlight the necessity to explore the complex effects of an aging workforce on organizational innovation as well as additional factors influencing the relationship between aging workforce and firm innovation.

  • As increasing of using induction motors, the induction motors faults cause serious damage to the industry. Therefore to find out faults of induction motor is recognized as important problem awaiting solution. But to make matters worse, the faults of induction motors often progress through long time. It means that early diagnosis is very important. Many researches have been progressed and general method of diagnosis is using vibration sensor to diagnose fault of induction motor. However, although it is reliability technique, it demands high price and it is difficult to use. This paper presents an implementation of technique for fault diagnosis of induction motor using wavelet transform based stator current and it is composed with algorithm that decides whether fault existence or not using C++ based on windows software. The algorithm will be accomplished in real-time using current data acquisition board and PC automatically with Neural Network algorithm.

  • Traditionally, a congestion charge based on first-best congestion pricing theory, namely, the theory of marginal cost pricing theory, is equal to the difference between marginal social cost and marginal private cost. It is charged on each link so as to derive a user equilibrium flow pattern to a system optimal one. Based on this theory this paper investigates on the characteristics of first-best congestion pricing of multiple user class on road with variable demand, and presents two methods for analysis of social and spatial equity. For these purposes, we study on the characteristics of first-best congestion pricing derived from system optimal in time and in monetary unit, and analyze equity from this congestion pricing with an example network.

  • This is the Study of descriptive research to look into influence factors about how pain, nutritional risk, loneliness and perceived health status have an effect on the health-related quality of life. The subjects were 110 elderly women living alone over the age of 65 living in D gu, Y gu, D metropolitan city and collected data by giving questionnaire, and used the SPSS/WIN 18.0 version to analyze. The correlated factors of health-related quality of life included pain(r=-.565, P<.001), nutritional risk(r=-.485, P<.001), loneliness(r=-.546, P<.001) and perceived health status(r=.706, P<.001). Factors influencing health-related quality of life are perceived health status, loneliness, pain, type of residence, number of diseases. Therefore, in order to improve health-related quality of life for elderly women living alone, it is necessary to induce the practice of education and health behavior for improvement of health status, to establish social network to increase emotional support and to apply various protection systems.

  • With big data analysis, companies use the customized marketing strategy based on customer's information. However, because of the concerns about privacy issue and identity theft, people start erasing their personal information or changing the privacy settings on social network site. Facebook, the most used social networking site, has the feature called 'Likes' which can be used as a tool to predict user's demographic profiles, such as sex and age range. To make accurate analysis model for the study, 'Likes' data has been processed by using Gaussian RBF and nFactors for dimensionality reduction. With random Forest and 5-fold cross-validation, the result shows that sex has 75% and age has 97.85% accuracy rate. From this study, we expect to provide an useful guideline for companies and marketers who are suffering to collect customers' data.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out ways for establishing the identity and for strengthening the function of Dong-office minilibraries, which are nation-widely sprouted according to the Government’s policy of converting the Dong-office’s functions. The general operating status of the minilibraries were investigated by telephone interviews with the minilibrary operators, the collection and usage status by on-site observation, and the user behaviour by user surveys. For the effective operation of the Dong-office minilibrariea they should be identified as service stations of public libraries, supported technically by the local public libraries, and connected to the local educational and social service institutions for the securance of users and volunteers. Networks among the minilibrary operators should also be established for exchanges and cooperations. Furthermore, operating models should be developed according to the library’s environments and the user’s needs.

  • This study conducted an analysis of the current use of and satisfaction with 40 village-unit core facilities that were created through a village-building project in Busan targeting users and non-users of the facilities. The study then examined ideas to promote the availability of the facilities. The results showed that for the users, they had been using the facilities for gathering and information-sharing, and the facilities were improving the interactions among the locals. In terms of non-users, the study confirmed that any relevant fields should develop diverse programs, start promotions in various ways and establish networks among neighbors to increase the non-users' use of the facilities In addition, the study found that the village-unit core facilities are working to encourage interactions among residents and that the locals' voluntary participation in operation of the facilities are needed. The study also suggested that networks across the local communities and diverse programs should be formed and developed.
