The contents of high school 'Common science' textbooks was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Seven common science textbooks were selected and its contents, structure, inquiry, activities, appendix and its characteristics were investigated, and analyzed using the Goal Clusters of Project Synthesis and Romey's indices of text evaluation were calculated. The contents of each unit are not much different among textbooks because they are written according to the curriculum ordinance and textbook guidelines of the Ministry of Education. The textbooks was consist of $471{\sim}519$ pages. It was distribute similarly among the chapter of 'materials', 'forces', lives' and 'earth'. The chapter of 'energy' and 'environment' was treat significantly. The contents and structure of common science is a mere physical consolidation. I make an alternative plan that a topic form. Inquiry activities used in the textbooks are 11 type, however most of that is interpretation of data, experiment, survey and discussion. Ninety six percents of the experiment, belong to the 1st level, four percents of that belong to the 2nd level of the Schwab's inquiry level and there are no activities of the 3rd level. This research aims to identify the relevance of 'Adolescence consumption' units to ESD(Education for Sustainable Development), and to analyze the unit's inquiry tendency through the Romey analysis method. The assessment criteria in association with ESD developed in the previous literature were summarized and established to set up an analysis framework consisted of 11 key points including environmental perspective (natural resources, climate change/disaster prevention and mitigation, and sustainable rural and urban systems), economic perspective (corporate sustainability, market economy, and poverty gap mitigation), and socio-cultural perspective (human rights/peace/human protection, cultural diversity and understanding, health/safety, civic engagement, and management of nation). With this framework, the learning contents of 'adolescence consumption life' unit in twelve middle school Home Economics textbooks were analyzed including the texts, images/illustrations/tables/graphs, and activities. The analysis revealed that the core elements of the 'market economy' and 'management of nation' from the economic perspective were presented in three different formats: texts, images/illustrations/tables/graphs, and activities. However, relatively insufficient contents were presented in terms of health/safety, civic engagement, sustainable rural and urban systems, and corporate sustainability, and thus, development of textbooks dealing with various ESD contents is neededrecommended. Additionally, most textbooks' texts and images/illustrations/tables/graphs tend to be authoritative, while activities and assignments exhibited an inquiry tendency. It is advisable to incorporate a wider variety of ESD-related content in Home Economics classes and creatively employ inquiry-based learning activities for the development of pro-sustainable-development consumption values and behavioral tendencies among young students.
Typhoons are significant meteorological phenomena that cause interactions among the ocean, atmosphere, and land within Earth's system. In particular, wind speed, a key characteristic of typhoons, is influenced by various factors such as central pressure, trajectory, and sea surface temperature. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding based on actual observational data is essential. In the 2015 revised secondary school textbooks, typhoon wind speed is presented through text and illustrations; hence, exploratory activities that promote a deeper understanding of wind speed are necessary. In this study, we developed a data visualization program with a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate the understanding of typhoon wind speeds with simple operations during the teaching-learning process. The program utilizes red-green-blue (RGB) image data of Typhoons Mawar, Guchol, and Bolaven -which occurred in 2023- from the Korean geostationary satellite GEO-KOMPSAT-2A (GK-2A) as the input data. The program is designed to calculate typhoon wind speeds by inputting cloud movement coordinates around the typhoon and visualizes the wind speed distribution by inputting parameters such as central pressure, storm radius, and maximum wind speed. The GUI-based program developed in this study can be applied to typhoons observed by GK-2A without errors and enables scientific exploration based on actual observations beyond the limitations of textbooks. This allows students and teachers to collect, process, analyze, and visualize real observational data without needing a paid program or professional coding knowledge. This approach is expected to foster digital literacy, an essential competency for the future.
This study aimed to investigate the changes of emotional perception biases according to the level of social phobia and the relationship with visuospatial attention allocation ability. This study used the Korean self-report assessment test (Korean version of social avoidance and distress, K-SAD) to measure the level of social phobia. Moreover, the emotional perception and useful field of view (UFOV) tasks were employed for measuring emotional perception biases and visuospatial attention allocation ability, respectively. A total of 118 participants participated in this experiment, and only 107 (males: 94, females: 13) data were analyzed due to the exclusion of response errors and other statistical problems. The average age of the participants used in the analysis was 21 years (SD: 3.64), and those participants were divided into three groups according to the K-SAD scores. Consequently, all experimental groups showed negative emotional perception biases in the emotional perception task, but the magnitudes of the biases of each group were not significantly different. Furthermore, the positive emotional perception biases were higher at higher levels of social phobia, which could be related to the tendency of interpreting positive stimuli negatively. In the UFOV task, the higher the level of social phobia, the lower the visuospatial attention allocation ability. These results suggest that the deterioration of visuospatial attention allocation ability potentially contributes to the increase of positive emotional perception biases by being difficult to perceive external stimuli. Thus, this paper discusses the potential contribution of visuospatial attention allocation ability to the increased perceptual biases of positive emotions as the level of social phobia increases.
This study seeks to clarify the mechanisms of anthropomorphism and positive user experience. This study adopts the "computers are social actors" (CASA) paradigm to verify the causal relationship between social response and anthropomorphism and correctly explicate this paradigm. The intimacy-forming and anthropomorphizing effects of deep self-disclosure in interpersonal relationships were replicated in relationships between humans and conversational agents to induce both social response and anthropomorphism. Then, the mediating effect of intimacy on the anthropomorphizing effect of deep self-disclosure was explored with psychological models that revealed the causal relationships between social connections, including intimacy and anthropomorphism. Furthermore, we explored how intimacy and anthropomorphism trigger positive user experiences. The results demonstrated that the deeper the self-disclosure depth was, the more intimate and humanly the agent was perceived and the more positive the user experience was. In addition, the effect of self-disclosure depth on anthropomorphism and positive user experience was completely mediated by intimacy. This means that when using a computer with interpersonal characteristics, people anthropomorphize it and have a positive experience because people react socially to objects with social cues. This study bridges the gap between the CASA paradigm and anthropomorphism research, suggesting the possibility of psychological explanations for the principle of human-computer interactions. In addition, it explicates the mechanism of anthropomorphism and positive user experience, emphasizing the importance of social response-that is, intimacy.
This study examines how people perceive and experience busyness, which is a great social pressure in the Korean society, and The socio-psychological motives that drive people's different paces of life, such as busyness or slowness, despite being in the same busy reality, were examined. Furthermore, an in-depth study was conducted on the adaptation factors in the real society according to the speed of individual life. The analysis of this study was based on an in-depth interview data of 21 unmarried men and women in their 20s and 30s, and was conducted using a phenomenological qualitative analysis method. As a result, the perception and experience of being busy had both positive and negative parts. The components of socio-psychological motivation that affect the speed of an individual's life are 'internalization of positive values of (busy/rest)', '(future/present) centric', 'selection & concentration/Inertial busyness', 'personality characteristics' were derived. In addition, 'self-selection', 'successful time management', and 'maintenance of psychological health' were derived as common factors among adaptation factors in real society, 'a sense of achievement' and 'understanding and accepting self-characteristics' were derived as discriminatory factors. became Based on these results, the value and meaning of being busy in Korean society was discussed from a social psychology perspective, and a new perspective was presented to existing studies and discussions related to the speed of life. In addition, several follow-up studies were proposed.

This study examined the effects of curiosity, the personal characteristics of start-up founders, on entrepreneurship. Among the various factors that make up the entrepreneurship, this study identified the relationship between the practical factors (challenge, innovativeness, competition) and the founder's curiosity. Based on previous studies, curiosity was divided into four individual factors: deficiency, playfulness, social curiosity, and stimulus pursuit. For each individual factor, we analyzed meaningful relationship with entrepreneurship. In addition, the founders were classified into those who simply think of starting a business, those preparing to start a business, and those who started the business. Each group was analyzed their degree of curiosity. The data were analyzed based on the final 248 data for entrepreneurs who are preparing or starting their own business in Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. Analysis shows that curiosity is higher in those who prepare or start a business than those who think about it. Curiosity has been found to have a positive effect on both the challenge, the innovation, and the composition of the competition. In addition, in entrepreneurship, the challenge was found to have a positive effect on innovation, but it did not affect competition composition. The characteristics of individual factors of curiosity were also different, and there was a significant effect of deficiency and playfulness on challenge, social curiosity and stimulus pursuit on innovation, and stimulus pursuit on competition. These findings are significant in identifying and analyzing curiosity as a factor influencing entrepreneurship. The results of the analysis can help theoretical expansion of entrepreneurship. In addition, it can provide important implications for the direction of entrepreneurship education and program development among volunteer activities for prospective entrepreneurs.

The purposes of this study were to categorize the type of student-student interaction and analyze the pattern of group interaction by cognitive level in interactive science inquiry experiments. For this study, two homogeneous and two heterogeneous groups by cognitive level were selected. Social interactions during group discussions were audio/video taped. The types of student's interaction were classified as intellectual and emotional aspects. Intellectual aspects were consisted of asking question, response, making suggestion, receiving opinion and then further coded by interaction level. Emotional aspects were consisted of relevance to behavioral participation, relevance to students' feeling, reaction to opinion. Interaction frequency in the intellectual and emotional aspect between homogeneous and heterogeneous group were compared to analyze interaction pattern. The results of this study showed that in intellectual aspect the frequency and quality of interaction in homogeneous group was higher than that in heterogeneous group. In emotional aspect. homogeneous group more showed such negative attitude as lack of confidence and dissatisfaction than heterogeneous group, on the other hand showed acceptable mood to be able to accept or object to peer's opinion. Some educational implications were drawn.

The present study, on the bass of a premise that reference lists are one of the social products, reflecting various social environments of their own society, was made as part of an attempt to explore the co-occurrence phenomenon of both Korean and Non-Korean Literatures occurred within the Korean references. 321 authors (articles) of 43 Korean journals on Social Sciences were surveyed on research channels and citation motivations and their 11358 references were analyzed. The findings are as follows : 1) The extent of the co-occurrence was that Non-Korean literatures were more 1.9 times (65.3%) cited than Korean ones and English (61.5%)-American (50.4%) predominancy was heavily found. 2) Research channel, worked as an indicator of the identity of researcher as well as the source of research ideas was most Non-Korean channel orientedness (55.8%). 3) Citation motivations were significantly depended on whether Korean or Non-Korean literatures and non-Korean literatures were cheifly cited to be conceptual motivations than other motivations. 4) Research channel among variables was worked as a main effect predicting major citation motivations on Non-Korean literatures. Finally, this study is very suggestive : 1) It might be a new approach and interpretation by adopting citation motivations to explore a process of knowledge producting of researchers 2) Partly, it proved empirically the relationship of knowledge producted by Korean researchers to Non-Korean knowledge through the analysis of citation motivations.
