When the character of space could be dichotomized into the existing public space and private space, social order could be maintained by public policing only, Since enormous private property was formed and private space was enlarged by the development of capitalism, however, the necessity of private policing system came to the front. The large capitalists began to establish separate policing system to protect their property and safety. However, as social alteration was further diversified scale of economy was enlarged, the character of space could not be simply explained owing to the formation of space that could not be explained by simple dichotomous division. Namely, the 3rd space was formed as middle class between public space and private space. The 3rd space created additional demand of policing besides the existing public policing and private policing. The policing system to safety such demand of policing is called hybrid policing. As policing system in which character and legal status of public policing and private policing are mixed, the hybrid policing system may be originated from the diversification of demand of policing. Johnston insists that the demand of hybrid policing system will be further increased, becoming the model of policing system in the future. In Korea, the police guard system or special guard system can be classified into the type of hybrid policing. In accordance with the trend of diversified demand of policing in the future, I suggest to develop Korean model of hybrid policing system so that it can be utilized in elevating the policing index in Korean society.

민영화 이후의 경쟁정책에 있어서 공기업 민영화의 궁극적인 목표가 시장기능의 활성화를 통한 효율성 제고에 있음을 깊이 인식하여 민영화 과정에서 관련시장을 경쟁적인 시장구조로 전환하고 시장원리가 제대로 작동할 수 있는 여건을 마련하는데 더 큰 관심을 가져야 할 것이다. 공기업이 독점적 지위를 그대로 유지한 채 민영화한다면 이는 공적 독점으로부터 사적 독점으로의 단순한 전환을 의미할 뿐이며, 공적 규제의 악화로 사적 독점의 폐해가 보다 심각해질 우려도 있기 때문이다.

As movies entered the digital age, they quickly changed from group creation to individual creation. In particular, documentary films began to produce diverse and excellent works while dealing with extremely personal subjects and themes rather than heavy subjects. Especially in the 1990s, when the digital era began in earnest, Japan began to shift away from heavy political and social topics from documentaries to extremely personal subjects, and the subject matter became very diverse. In this paper, we would like to examine the concept, type, and characteristics of private documentaries that emerged as new forms of documentaries following the advent of the full-fledged digital era since the 90s, citing concrete examples of representative private documentary works since the 90s in Japan.

This is a literature study about the concept of 'Division into Equal Parts' in middle school geometry. First, we notice that the concept of the division into equal parts in middle school geometry is given in four themes, which are those of line segments, angles, arches and areas. Second, we investigate and analyse the historical backgrounds of these four kinds of divisions into equal parts. Third, the possibility of extension in terms of method and concept was researched. Through the result of this study, we suggest that it is desirable to use effective utility of history in mathematical teaching and learning in middle school.

This study examines the increasing influence of the private sorter in global media governance, which represents decentralization of international politics resulted from the rapid globalization in the areas of politics, economy and culture. Introducing a concept of the private authority which theoretically explains increasing power of the private sector, including transnational corporations and business associations in global governance, this study discusses how the private sector and its governance activities ran be recognized as legitimate as those of the state. Based on this theoretical discussion, the study examines what the Increasing role and power of the private sector In global media governance imply with regard to democratic accountability.

The purposes of this article are to criticize social services, and to consider alternative caring policies and social economic regime to cope with caring blank, in the view point of A. Gorz. According to Gorz, in the value of growth of capitalism, people who are in charge of household affairs and caring work make inroads into the wage market. At this point, as caring blank is occured, social services are emerged. These new aspects are 'Commodification and Rationalization of Private Life'. This article suggests alternative ideas to these aspects. First, universal care giver·breadwinner model, second, the dominance of eco-reason and shorter working hours.

This study originates from the following problematic: Can a social history of design provide a useful methodology for the research and education of Korean design? For the understanding of the modes of socio-cultural approach to design, the chapter 2 compares the narrative mode of designer-centered history promulgated under the influence of Nikolaus Pevsner and that of socio-cultural approach advocated by Adrian Forty. The chapter 3 studies the cases of socio-cultural approach to Korean design through the domestic exhibitions like 'Everyday Life, Memory and History,' 'A Glimpse into the Society through Campaigns,' and 'Design Culture in Korea 1910-1960' which attempted the socio-cultural approach to the visual culture of modern/contemporary Korea. In the chapter 4, this study investigates into the meanings and characteristics of socio-cultural approach in the design research and education, End argues for the necessity of the introduction of qualitative research methodology.

The mileage program has been one of the most popular royalty and promotion programs in marketing. With the remarkable growth and rapid pervasiveness of information technologies including the Internet, new and a variety of many other applications of mileage system than traditional ones have been observed. The objective of this research is to investigate the rising role of mileage point as a new private electronic money. In an attempt to identify the new role, we employ two factors: monetary confidence and monetary efficiency. This paper analyzes the status quo in the monetary uses of the mileage system by answering to those questions that "is it money?," and "what are the cases for real experiences in 'money-like' mileage and their implications?" with OK Cashbag case. Results show that OK Cashbag point is taking a different development route of money and performs limited monetary functions as private electronic money.

This study estimates the role of public and private income transfer to the income status of women who experienced marital disruption. In detail, this study estimates five major subjects (1) women's socioeconomic background, (2) income and poverty status, (3) family income composition, (4) the anti-poverty effect of public and private income transfers, and (5) factors associated with women's poverty status. Major findings of the study are as follows: First, women's socioeconomic characteristics, income status, and poverty status are different according to what types of marital disruption (separation, divorce, death of spouse) they experienced. Second, the role of public and private income transfers to reduce women's poverty are also different according to their marital status. Third, widow's working condition and the level of public assistance are significantly associated with the poverty status of widow.
