  • This study aims to explore the reality of middle school students witnessing cyberbullying and their types of behaviors after witnessing and to examine the role of empathy affecting the behaviors of bystanders of cyberbullying. For this purpose, we collected the survey data from 595 middle school students in the Gyeong-Gi region. Results show that 61.2% of the respondents report the witness of cyberbullying, Among which cyber slander is the most common, followed by spreading false information, outcast, sexual harassment, and extortion. The behaviors of bystanders who witnessed cyberbullying are categorized into spectating, defending, agreeing, or doing nothing. When it comes to the role of the students' empathy, findings show that the 'empathic concern' and 'personal pain' -, parts of emotional empathic abilities, can significantly influence behaviors of cyberbullying bystanders. These findings not only call the attention to the seriousness of cyberbullying among middle school students, but they also suggest the implication that emotion empathy education is required along with emotion control education.

  • This study was to examine the effect of Displaced aggression and Justice sensitivity(victim sensitivity and penetrator sensitivity) on Cyberbullying tendency in 20s adult, and the moderating role of Justice sensitivity to identify psychological factors affecting a serious social problem, cyberbullying. The online survey was handed to 261 adults in their 20s for a month. First, Simple regression analysis shows that displaced aggression(F=62.55, p<.001) and victim sensitivity(F=29.61, p<.001) predict cyberbullying tendency. Second, hierarchical regression analysis by controlling the effects of sex, the perpetrator sensitivity has been shown to morderate the relationship between displaced aggression and cyberbullying tendencies(F=29.61, p<.001), and the effect of victim sensitivity has not been significant. In conclusion, that future studies need to consider the limitations of this study to ensure that the same results are shown in different age groups and also some approaches such as empathetic understanding could help to reduce cyberbullying.

  • Cyber bullying is increasing these days and becoming a serious social problem that gives rise to issues such as school violence and cyber crimes. We had developed a serious game-based education program for teenagers who are familiar with computer games. After pilot test the educational effect was also found to be high. I have found the followings in this case study. Serious game is effective media for cyber bullying prevention education. Second, cooperation between content experts and game development experts is essential to develop educational games.

  • A cyber crime has been evolving, as other crimes have. Beyond physical damages such as financial crimes in the cyber world, it has evolved into psychological forms like cyber-bullying. In today's crimes, measures that consider psychological effects of crimes are highly regarded in that fear of crime is considered as well as visible crimes. Accordingly, cyber bullying, which causes psychological damages, needs to be treated very importantly. Because the characteristics of cyber crime is caused by different circumstances from the real world, measures should be taken in different aspects. Rather than physical damages, which can be found in the conventional crimes, cyber crimes cause psychological damages, so the effect that has on inflicting should be specified. Especially, in the environment that virtual reality is ubiquitous through smart phones, it is very difficult to establish measures by considering all the causes of general cyber crimes. Therefore, this study estimated what affects cyber bullying by focusing on personalized faith factor among social bond theory, which can control cyber crimes. As a result, self-controling faith was verified to have a negative effect on cyber bullying, so faith is a very important factor in personalized environment. Thus, it is suggested that the characteristics of cyber space and education of humanism, which can affect individuals' faith should be emphasized.

  • As smartphone use has become so popular recently, bullying and harassment in cyber space are a growing problem both at home and abroad. While various studies on cyberbullying in other countries began more than a decade ago, there are few studies in Korea. In order to effectively respond to cyberbullying, diverse studies based on in-depth analysis of the problem should be conducted. Therefore, this study describes the definitions and types of cyberbullying, the differences between traditional bullying and cyberbullying, and the causes and effects of cyberbullying. In addition, this study analyzes the existing research related to the response strategies of cyberbullying and then suggests its own prevention and intervention strategies.

  • Purpose: This study used a system dynamics methodology to identify correlation and nonlinear feedback structures among factors affecting adolescent cyberbullying victims (CV) in Korea and to construct and verify a simulation model. Methods: Factors affecting CV were identified by reviewing a theoretical background in existing literature and referencing various statistical data. Related variables were identified through content validity verification by an expert group, after which a causal loop diagram (CLD) was constructed based on the variables. A stock-flow diagram (SFD) using Vensim Professional 7.3 was used to establish a CV model. Results: Based on the literature review and expert verification, 22 variables associated with CV were identified and the CLD was prepared. Next, a model was developed by converting the CLD to an SFD. The simulation results showed that the variables such as negative emotions, stress levels, high levels of conflict in schools, parental monitoring, and time spent using new media had the strongest effects on CV. The model's validity was verified using equation check, sensitivity analysis for timestep and simulation with 4 CV adolescent. Conclusion: The system dynamics model constructed in this study can be used to develop intervention strategies in schools that are focused on counseling that can prevent cyberbullying and assist in the victims' recovery by formulating a feedback structure and capturing the dynamic changes observed in CV. To prevent cyberbullying, it is necessary to develop more effective strategies such as prevention education, counseling and treatment that considers factors pertaining to the individual, family, school, and media.

  • Social Network Service(SNS) users are increasing globally. Within that trend, 'SNS attacking' victims are increasing in social network service space like KakaoStory, facebook, or Instargram as people damage others' personality or reputation. In this paper is to investigate and analyze awareness of negative behavior attributed to disinhibition effect with undergraduates who are the group of people using social network service the most diversely in smart environment and devise preventive measures to reduce social network service attacking victims and attackers. In social network service space, undergraduates are hardly aware of other people's personality, defamation, or invasion of privacy, and the level of guilt they feel towards social network service attacking is seriously low. To solve this problem, this study suggests preventive measures so that they can be equipped with awareness and regulations right for this social network service age and can prevent negative behavior resulted from disinhibition effect.

  • The damage of cyber bullying is increasing. A response of code is needed with that of law and education. This study would use the strengths of a virtual simulation as one of the technical solutions. Students learn cyber bullying and prevention of it through each step. The steps in this application model consist of recognition${\rightarrow}$judgement${\rightarrow}$decision${\rightarrow}$behavior. Each detailed step of this model is made of pre-briefing${\rightarrow}$demanding of response${\rightarrow}$participating in response${\rightarrow}$result and feedback${\rightarrow}$growth${\rightarrow}$debriefing. Thus we developed the application model of this virtual simulation and implemented it for education and prevention of cyber bullying. We hope that the model and simulation developed by this study would reduce the damage resulting from cyber bullying.

  • With the recent increase in users' dependence on the Internet and the spread of various IT devices, the influence of information security on the users' has expanded compared to the past. Therefore, it is expected to have an increased influence on information security in personal life. In addition, as the intrusion factors that threaten security continue to become more advanced and diversified (eg., fake news, cyberbullying, identity theft), the need for nurturing information security experts is increasing. Furthermore, not only corporate information security workers, but also all individuals, cannot be free from the threat of information security. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare various information security education to improve information security awareness and induce proactive information security behaviors. In this study, characteristics of domestic and foreign information security education courses are analyzed and provide a standardized framework for information security education applicable to the domestic environment.
