  • Creativity, one of the core competencies of the 21st century, is required as an essential item for members of society. Emphasizes its ability in terms of personality that allows it to be used in the desired direction. However, creativity is considered to contribute to positive change in the organization, not only in creating new ideas or products, but also in adapting to a changing environment and solving problems. Accordingly, by reviewing previous studies, it was concluded that rewards can promote or hinder creativity, which may vary depending on the nature of rewards, the concept of creativity possessed by the researcher, individual differences, and external environment. We also proposed that rewards may influence creativity through motivational, cognitive, and synthetic functions. Based on the analysis, a specific model was proposed for the effect of reward on creativity. This study is based on existing research and analyzed various factors and mechanisms acting in the process of influencing creativity based on comparison of which extrinsic and intrinsic motivations have what kind of relationship. Next, it appears that rewards differ from person to person according to the way they are given in environmental circumstances. Finally, by rewarding various types of creative tasks, an active reward role can be secured.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in internet use motivations and problem behaviors among vocational high school students according to internet addiction and family system type. Five hundred vocational high school students from Daegu took part in the survey. The questionnaire survey consisted of an internet addiction self-assessment scale, a family system type scale, an internet use motivation scale, and a problem behavior scale. The data was analysed using MANOVA and Cronbach a, and the $Scheff\acute{e}$ test was used for post-hoc analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the study found significant differences in adolescent internet use motivation according to internet addiction. Adolescents in the high dangerous user group showed higher communicative, experiential, and addictive motivations than adolescents in potentially dangerous and normal user groups. Also, there were no significant differences in informative motivation according to internet addiction. Regardless of internet addiction, adolescents tend to use the internet to search for information and to solve problems. Second, there were significant differences in adolescents' problem behaviors according to internet addiction. More specifically, adolescents who were in the high dangerous user group displayed more problem behaviors toward their body, family, school, and society than adolescents in the potentially dangerous and the normal user groups. Third, an adolescent's family system type significantly influenced his/her internet use motivation. Adolescents from an extreme family showed higher communicative and addictive motivations than adolescents from middle and balanced families. Fourth, there were significant differences in the problem behaviors of adolescents according to family system types. Adolescents from an extreme family showed more problem behaviors toward their body, family, school, and society than adolescents from middle and balanced families.

  • The importance and necessity of software(SW) education as a liberal arts was fully recognized by society. However, according to the previous research results, learners' motivation to learn in SW liberal arts was kept low for various reasons. Therefore, understanding the learning motivation and its changeability in SW liberal arts is necessary, but the related studies are not sufficient. In this paper, we analyzed changes in achievement goals using a 3 × 2 achievement goal model to examine changeability of achievement goals in a SW liberal arts class during one semester. As a result, we confirmed that the achievement goals were stable at both the group level and the individual level, but the order of each achievement goal was different from that of the previous studies. We also confirmed that the mastery goal of the classroom goal structure had a higher correlation with most achievement goals, but the performance goals had a correlation with some avoidance goals only. This means that additional research is needed for each key classroom goal structure type in SW education because the learning motivation in SW liberal arts has different aspect from the other existing liberal arts classes.
