Desyncronization And Correlation Coefficient of Brain Wave on Scientific Reasoning (과학적인 사고과정에서 나타난 뇌파의 비동기화와 상관계수)

  • The purpose of this study was to test whether the degrees of desyncronization in cranial nerves were related to correlation coefficient between brain waves measured on scalp. Based on the hypothesis. this research intended to describe the patterns of brain wave during scientific reasoning. EEG (electroencephalography) signals in 19 electrodes were recorded from elementary (6th grade) and middle (7th, 8th grade) school students as they performed roller-ball tasks: planning experiment, cognitive conflict, bridging, metacognition, and at rest (eyes closed and eyes opened). The results showed that the smaller the correlation coefficient was, the bigger the degrees of desyncronization. As compared to resting periods, the correlation coefficients in prefrontal and frontal lobe decreased during scientific reasoning. And the nerves in prefrontal and frontal lobes were most active during scientific reasoning. These results suggest that the correlation coefficient in addition to frequency of brain waves be analysed to get meaningful results of researches on scientific reasoning by brain wave.

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들의 논리적 사고력을 신장시키기 위해 지식 기반 프로그램인 선언적 프로그램을 통해 교육현장에서도 적용할 수 있는 프로그래밍 교육을 제언하고자 한다. 학생들에게 논리적 사고 중에서도 협의의 논리적 사고 즉, 기호적 사고, 분석적 사고, 추론적 사고, 종합적 사고를 분석적 방법을 통해 실제 프로그래밍을 해 봄으로써 연역적 사고 또는 귀납적 사고를 보다 효과적이고 체계적인 프로그래밍을 할 수 있도록 지도함으로써 제 8차 교육과정에서의 컴퓨터 교육과정의 일부분으로서의 프로그래밍의 마인드를 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 선언적 프로그램을 통해서 초등학교 학생들의 논리적 사고력 신장를 위하여 프로그래밍 교수학습의 방법적인 측면을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on Safety Accidents Caused by Pump Car Boom Defects (펌프카 Booms 결함으로 발생하는 안전사고 고찰)

  • 본연구는 콘크리트 타설과정에서 반복되는 펌프카 사고를 예방하기 위해서 설계 및 제작의 품질관리와 현(現))정기검사 기준을 개선해야 한다는 점을 제안하며, Booms 파단 사고 예방대책 제시가 목적이고, 최근 1~2년 사이에 발생한 펌프카 기계적 결함 사고의 현황조사와 사고 특징을 분석하고, 펌프카 장비의 검사기준 및 조정원의 자격과 기능교육 기준 마련의 필요성 확인한다. 붐대의 안전성 확인하기 위해서는 선행연구의 구조적 안전성 평가와 최대응력 부위에 대한 선행연구의 유한요소 해석모델 자료를 재분석하고, 2단 붐이 타설중 가장 많은 힘을 받는지와 파괴 가능성을 확인한다. Booms의 유한요소 모델 해석 결과 펌프카는 타설 과정에서 진동으로 피로 하중을 받을 수 있다는 동적해석과 정적해석 재검토 결과 가장 취약한 부위는 2단 붐이었으며, 2st 붐은 제작단계에서 부재 두께를 증가시키고, 상단부에 철판 보강을 권장한다. 펌프카 사고를 방지하기 위해서는 제조사는 생산단계에서 2st Boom 상단에 보강판 부착이 필요하고, 정기검사 비용 현실화와 비파괴 검사를 의무 검사로 반영이 필요하다고 제언한다.

Exploring the Process of Change in 5-year-olds' Mathematical Thinking through Mathematical Process-focused Instruction (수학적 과정 중심 교수학습법을 통한 만 5세 유아의 수학적 사고 변화 탐구)

  • The purpose of this study is to build an instruction method focused on the mathematical process and apply it to 12, 5-year-olds from Kindergarten located in Seoul with a view to explore the changes in their mathematical thinking. In addition, surveys with parents and teachers, as well as those conducted in the field of early childhood education, were conducted to analyze the current situation. The effects focused on the five mathematical processes, namely problem solving, reasoning and proof, connecting, representing and communication was found to help the interactions between teacher-child and child-child stimulate the mathematical thinking of the children and induce changes. The mathematical process-focused instruction aimed to advance mathematical thinking internalized mathematical knowledge, presented an integrated problematic situation, and empathized the mathematical process, which enabled the children to solve the problem by working together with peers. As such, the mathematical thinking of the children was integrated and developed within the process of a positive change in the mathematical attitude in which mathematical knowledge is internalized through mathematical process.

Scientific Thinking Types and Processes Generated in Inductive Inquiry by College Students (대학생들의 귀납적 탐구에서 나타난 과학적 사고의 유형과 과정)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze scientific thinking types and processes generated in inductive inquiry by college students. Subjects were three college student. Three inductive tasks were developed: Caminalcules set I which is a task consisted of 6 imaginary animals, a potato task which is a task about the interaction between juiced potato and $H_2O_2$, and Caminalcules set 2. Subjects' thinking types and processes were investigated through thinking-aloud method and interview. Subjects' performances were recorded on videotapes and analyzed. Subjects have shown 5 types of inductive thinking in the first task; observing, discovering commonness, discovering pattern, classifying, discovering hierarchy. The processes of inductive thinking shown by students are followed; observing $\rightarrow$discovering commonness $\rightarrow$classifying $\rightarrow$discovering pattern $\rightarrow$discovering hierachy. The subtypes of inductive thinking on observing were investigated by the analysis of subjects' performance on the second task. In analysis of protocol, student' thinking types on observing have been classified as simple observing and operational observing. Operational observing has been categorized conjectural observing and predictive observing. The subtypes of inductive thinking on classification and hierarchy were investigated by the analysis of subjects' performance on the third task. In analysis of protocol, students' thinking types on classification have been searching criteria for classifying and selecting criteria for classifying. Subtypes of discovering hierarchy have been classifying groups and hierarchical ordering by students. Processes of classifying groups proceeded from searching criteria for classifying to selecting criteria for classifying.

신월성원전 건설 중 해수침수사고와 해결과정의 고찰

  • 2009년 4월 29일 신월성원전 건설현장에 해수가 유입되어 건설 중에 있던 구조물과 건축 재료가 해수에 침수되는 사고가 발생하였다. 이 후 지역의 대표들이 신월성침수사고 조사위원회를 구성하여 침수된 구조물의 안전성과 보수가 필요한 부분을 정량적으로 평가하고 그 결과를 발표하였다. 본 논문에서는 침수사고의 개요와 조사위원회의 구성과정 및 활동 그리고 조사위원회의 의미 등을 살펴보고 이 때 월성원전감시기구의 역할 등을 고찰하여 원전주변지역 주민의 의식변화와 이에 따른 관련기관의 역할을 기술하였다.

  • 정상 주행 중에 핸들을 급조향하여 요-마크가 생성되면서 일어난 사고들은 핸들 급조향의 원인을 파악해야 대책 수립이 가능하다. 즉 이들 사고의 속도산정과 차량의 운동과정 및 요-마크 생성 이전의 급 조향 당시 위험 요소를 분석해야 대책에 연결될 수 있으나, 아직 정확한 원인규명이 어려운 실정에 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정상 주행중 핸들을 급조향하는 실험을 통하여 요-마크 생성초기 형상의 특성과 선회과정 및 속도 등을 분석하여 교통사고의 원인에 관하여 고찰하였다.

광안대교 충돌사고 SEA GRAND호의 선박 조종에 관한 분석

  • 2019년 2월 러시아 선적의 Sea Grand호가 부산 용호부두를 출항하는 과정에서 용호부두 전면에 위치하고 있는 요트와 광안대교를 순차적으로 충돌하는 믿기 힘든 해양사고가 발생하였다. 이러한 형태의 해양사고 방지를 위해 Sea Grand호가 용호부두를 출항한 시점부터 광안대교 충돌까지 선박의 조종 과정을 항적도를 기반으로 심층 분석하였다. 또한, 앵커와 예선 등을 활용한 안전한 출항 조선법과 요트와의 충돌 이후의 안전한 회두 방안 및 광안대교 충돌 직전의 회피 방법 등을 검토하였다.

Improving Geographical Thinking through the Specification of Geographic Skills (지리적 사고력 신장을 위한 기능의 상세화)

  • Recently more emphasis thinking is domain-specific by cognitive psychologists, because problem solving needs domain-specific knowledge. Improving students' geographical thinking should ensure that geographic skills are used when developing teaching-leaming objectives. Knowledge is undoubtedly important, but for the purpose of the teaching of geography thinking, skills are critical. The purpose of this paper is to make specification of geographic skills as a frame of reference for instructional objectives. Based on cognitive psychology, this paper examined the interdependence relationship between thinking and knowledge. Next, we attempt to conceptualize high order geographical thinking and relatively lower order geographic skills and to explore specification of geographic skills in complex thinking strategical perspectives.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand students' thinking process in the algebra problem solving, on the base of the works of Vinner(1997a, 1997b). Thus, two middle school students were evaluated in this case study to examine how they think to solve algebra word problems. The following question was considered to analyze the thinking process from the similarity-based perspective by focusing on the process of solving algebra word problems; What is the relationship between similarity and the characteristics of thinking process at the time of successful and unsuccessful problem solving? The following results were obtained by analyzing the success or failure in problem solving based on the characteristics of thinking process and similarity composition. Successful problem solving can be based on pseudo-analytical thought and analytical thought. The former is the rule applied in the process of applying closed formulas that is constructed structural similarity not related with the situations described in the text. The latter means that control and correction occurred in all stages of problem solution. The knowledge needed for solutions was applied with the formulation of open-end formulas that is constructed structural similarity in which memory and modification with the related principles or concepts. In conclusion, the student's perception on the principles involved in a solution is very important in solving algebraic word problems.
