Integrated Planning Process Implementation Method Based on the Cost, Schedule, and Technical Performance (비용, 일정 및 기술적 성과를 고려한 통합 계획수립 프로세스 구현 방안)

  • The purpose of the research is to propose an integrated project planning process and its implementation method. Although there is increasing interest in the application of the Earned Value Management(EVM) method in the project management area, the progress and maturity of the technical performance have not been included in assessing the Earned Value. The main concept of the planning process is to use cost, schedule, as well as the technical performance in the assessment of the Earned Value Management for Military R&D project management practices. The resulting process can enhance the efficiency of the project work by eliminating the currently duplicated activities between traditional project planning process and the newly implemented Earned Value Management process and by shortening the early planning process duration of projects adopting EVM practices.

  • This paper is a practical study on the development of SEMP template using SE & SW infrastructures. SEMP, which is a management system for systems engineers, has been developed for the LRT(Light Rail Transit) industry and has been tailored to suit domestic conditions. SE & SW infrastructures were developed to assist in creating an effective and efficient SEMP for the industry of this study. This paper proposes a method to reduce costs, manpower, and time for the LRT industry using SEMP based on SE & SW infrastructures.

  • 과거 PCB 제조 공정의 주된 관심사는 한정된 시간안에 다량의 제품을 생산하기 위한 것에 초점이 맞추어져 있었으나, 최근 중국의 전자산업 시장진출에 따른 PCB 가격 하락 및 원자제 가격 상승으로 인하여 생산 단가를 낮출 수 있는 방법으로 시선을 돌리고 있다. 특히, PCB 제조 공정에서, 생산 가격을 낮출 수 있는 방법중 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 것은, 습식 에칭 시 사용되는 용액(에칭액)의 사용 양을 제어함으로써, 화학 약품의 구입에 따른 비용 및 사용된 약품을 처리하는 비용을 줄일 수 있는 방법을 찾으려 노력하고 있다. 그러나, 애칭액을 효율적으로 제어하기 위해서는 여러 센서에서 나오는 데이터를 통합하여 진단할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 그러나, 센서에 의한 데이터가 다양함에 제어 알고리듬이 복잡함에 따라 효율적인 제어 시스템이 개발되기 힘들다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이점에 착안하여, 인공지능 알고리듬을 이용한 애칭액 신액 투입조건을 실시간으로 제어 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템을 사용하여, 애칭액을 균일하게 유지함에 따라 애칭액의 사용량을 줄일 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 폐액을 일정하게 관리할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

A Feasibility Study on the Development of Multifunctional Radar Software using a Model-Based Development Platform (모델기반 통합 개발 플랫폼을 이용한 다기능 레이다 소프트웨어 개발의 타당성 연구)

  • Software development involves a series of stages, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration testing, similar to those used in the system engineering process. This study utilized MathWorks' model-based design platform to develop multi-function radar software and evaluated its feasibility and efficiency. Because the development of conventional radar software is performed by a unit algorithm rather than in an integrated form, it requires additional efforts to manage the integrated software, such as requirement analysis and integrated testing. The mode-based platform applied in this paper provides an integrated development environment for requirements analysis and allocation, algorithm development through simulation, automatic code generation for deployment, and integrated requirements testing, and result management. With the platform, we developed multi-level models of the multi-function radar software, verified them using test harnesses, managed requirements, and transformed them into hardware deployable language using the auto code generation tool. We expect this Model-based integrated development to reduce errors from miscommunication or other human factors and save on the development schedule and cost.

Computation of Maintainability Index Using SysML-Based M&S Technique for Improved Weapon Systems Development (SysML 기반 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용한 무기체계 정비도 지수 산출)

  • Maintainability indicates how easily a system can be restored to the normal state when a system failure occurs. Systems developed to have high maintainability can be competitive due to reduced maintenance time, workforce and resources. Quantification of the maintainability is possible in many ways, but only after prototype production or with historical data. As such, the graph theory and 3D model data have been used, but there are limitations in management efficiency and early use. To solve this problem, we studied the maintainability index of weapon systems using SysML-based modeling and simulation technique. A SysML structure diagram was generated to simultaneously model the system design and maintainability of system components by reflecting the maintainability attributes acquired from the system engineering tool. Then, a SysML parametric diagram was created to quantify the maintainability through simulation linked with MATLAB. As a result, an integrated model to account for system design and maintainability simultaneously has been presented. The model can be used from early design stages to identify components with low maintainability index. The design of such components can be changed to improve maintainability and thus to reduce the risks of cost overruns and time delays due to belated design changes.

Organizational Structures Re-Design for the Regional Construction Management Administrations of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for Improving Management Performance of Construction Projects (건설사업관리 활성화를 위한 국토교통부 지방청 조직 재설계)

  • This study proposes measures to improve management performance of construction projects by re-designing the organizational structures of the Regional Construction Management Administrations of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The re-designing measures are derived based on the three measures which were established by analyses on status of the Regional Construction Management Administrations, requirements from the current organizational structure, and domestic/overseas examples; the measures are: 1) organizational integration and scope expansion, 2) structural re-organization according to construction projects, and 3) building a knowledge management structure. In order to realize the re-designing measures, sixteen tasks are derived; a milestone is established according to importance, feasibility and lead-lag relationships of these tasks. If these tasks are to be carried out successfully, the management performance of the Regional Construction Management Administrations of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will be expected to improve. Ultimately, the Regional Construction Management Administrations can reduce cost and improve the quality of public service by outsourcing the non-core competence tasks and by concentrating on the construction management for the new infrastructure projects.

  • 본 연구는 도심지에 위치한 LPG 충전소를 연구범위로 하여 공간정보의 활용이 가장 많이 요구되는 안전관리 분야의 업무를 중심으로 공간정보를 효율적으로 구축 활용하기 위하여 데이터베이스를 중심으로 위험관리정보 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 바탕으로 정량적 위험성 평가의 자동화를 통해 나타난 위험성을 실시간에 제어하기 위한 필요조건을 표준화하여 기초 정보자료로 구축, 이를 지리정보기능과 연동하여 LPG 충전소의 안전검사의 효율화, 사전 위험성 평가, 사고대응 판단의 효과적인 의사결정을 유도 할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다. 위험관리정보시스템(RMIS, Risk Management Information System) 개발절차는 다음과 같다 첫째, 도심지에 위치한 LPG 충전소 위험성 평가를 수행함에 있어서 기본적인 데이터인 부지내(On-site) 관련 자료와 부지 외(Off-site) 관련 자료를 관계형 데이터베이스(RDB, Relational Database)로 개발하였다. 둘째, Visual Basic을 이용하여 사용자가 효과적으로 위험을 관리 제어 할 수 있는 위험관리 통합 데이터베이스 시스템 개발하였다. 셋째, 위험관리 통합 데이터베이스 시스템과 지리정보시스템에 연동을 통한 의사결정 방안 제시하였다. 위험관리정보시스템(RMIS) 프로그램을 개발을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 위험관리 데이터 이용하여 사용자와 검사자가 효과적으로 위험을 사전관리 할 수 있는 공유정보를 구축하였다. 둘째, 위험 관리를 부지 내와 부지 외로 나누어 관리함으로서 시설 내부 뿐 만 아니라 시설외부에 미치는 영향을 모두 고려하여 구축하므로 서, 중대사고에 대응 할 수 있는 종합적인 안전관리 기반을 조성하였다. 셋째, 사용자 인터페이스를 바탕으로 비상사태 발생시에 신속하고 정확한 의사결정을 할 수 있는 기반을 조성하였다. 제공하여 응용GIS 구축의 생산성 및 품질 향상에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 우리의 최종목표인 GIS 소프트웨어 자동 생산에도 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다. 등)을 교통망상에 표시할 수 있음으로서 의사결정에 보다 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 비트율의 증가와 화질 열화는 각각 최대 1.32%와 최대 0.11dB로 무시할 수 있을 정도로 작음을 확인 하였다.을 알 수 있었다. 현지관측에 비해 막대한 비용과 시간을 절약할 수 있는 위성영상해석방법을 이용한 방법은 해양수질파악이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, GIS를 이용하여 다양하고 복잡한 자료를 데이터베이스화함으로써 가시화하고, 이를 기초로 공간분석을 실시함으로써 환경요소별 공간분포에 대한 파악을 통해 수치모형실험을 이용한 각종 환경영향의 평가 및 예측을 위한 기초자료로 이용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.염총량관리 기본계획 시 구축된 모형 매개변수를 바탕으로 분석을 수행하였다. 일차오차분석을 이용하여 수리매개변수와 수질매개변수의 수질항목별 상대적 기여도를 파악해 본 결과, 수리매개변수는 DO, BOD, 유기질소, 유기인 모든 항목에 일정 정도의 상대적 기여도를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이로부터 수질 모형의 적용 시 수리 매개변수 또한 수질 매개변수의 추정 시와 같이 보다 세심한 주의를 기울여 추정할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은 존재하므로 이러한 전략을 개발 및 활용할 수 있으며, 특히, 한국주

  • This study provides a effective approach to the construction management problem with the limited number or amount of available resources using the analytic hierarchy process. Construction management is a series of decision making processes for planning and controling of cost, time and quality as main objectives in construction works. When several activities need the limited same resource at the same time, it is very hard to decide the priority of the activities in the real situations. For that the scientific decision making method and procedure for resource allocation are required. This study solves the resource allocation problem by dealing with the decision making problem which the activities are distributed to multiple projects and under multiple criteria. The analytic hierarchy process is a method devised to solve complex multi-criteria decision problems. The result shows that this study can be effectively used to make decisions in situations involving multiple objectives by evaluating the prioritized ranking and degree of the activity alternatives based on the overall preferences.

  • Maintainability indicates the extent to which maintenance can be done easily and quickly. The consideration of maintainability is crucial to reduce the operation and support costs of weapon systems, but if the maintainability is evaluated after the prototype production is done and necessitates design changes, it may increase the cost and delay the schedule. The evaluation should verify whether maintenance work can be performed, and support the designers in developing a design to improve maintainability. In previous studies, the maintainability index was calculated using the graph theory at the early design phase, but evaluation accuracy appeared to be limited. Analyzing the methods of evaluating the maintainability using fuzzy logic and 3D modeling indicate that the design of a system with good maintainability should be done in an integrated manner during the whole system life cycle. This paper proposes a method to evaluate maintainability using SysML-based modeling and simulation technique and fuzzy logic. The physical design structure with maintainability attributes was modeled using SysML 'bdd' diagram, and the maintainability was represented by an AHP matrix for maintainability attributes. We then calculated the maintainability using AHP-based weighting calculation and fuzzy logic through the use of SysML 'par' diagram that incorporated MATLAB. The proposed maintainability model can be managed efficiently and consistently, and the state of system design and maintainability can be analyzed quantitatively, thereby improving design by early identifying the items with low maintainability.

  • The application of the BIM for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju involved alternative approaches and accompanied many trials-and-errors as the project adopted new targets and purposes that were not used in Korea before. In particular, for a large BIM-based project, clearly defining the BIM-including the objective, scope and the outcome-is critical for a project owner. For a successful implementation, project owners should improve the utilization of the BIM. Against this background, this research examines the case of the BIM application for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju, identifies its effects and problems, and proposes how to improve application of the BIM for public projects. The improvement in the BIM application can be divided into several stages: project order, design development, construction, and post-construction maintenance. In the initial stage, it is important to fully discuss the project planning among participants, and clarify the goal, scope, expected outcomes and role of the BIM. In the design stage, the level of detail (LOD) for the 3D model should be defined in consideration of information use in the stages of estimation and construction. In the construction stage, the scope of project that is managed based on the processing and use of the BIM data should be clearly given and understood. After construction is complete, measures should be sought to use the BIM for maintenance, and corresponding requirements and outcomes should be provided. The analysis is expected to provide basic data for successful implementation of BIM-based public projects, by assisting project owners and involved parties in enhancing work in different stages of a project.
