불완전연성설계의 특성을 갖는 사이드미러 액추에이터의 개념설계에 관한 연구 (Study on Concept Design of the Motor Actuator of Outside Rear-View Mirror by Incomplete Coupled Design)

  • 본 논문에서는 같은 기능을 하는 부품들을 통합된 부품으로 설계하기 위한 부품통합 설계가설을 정립하기 위해 이 가설을 공리적 설계의 관점에서 분석하였다. 이 연구를 위해 비연성설계의 특성을 갖고 있는 전동식 사이드미러 액추에이터를 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 부품통합 설계가설을 이용하여 액추에이터를 구성하는 부품들의 통합 가능성을 검토하였다. 부품통합 설계가설에 의해서 도출된 개념설계는 연성설계의 특성을 갖는다. 그런데 이러한 개념설계 중에서 불완전연성설계의 특성을 가지며, 비연성설계의 특성에 접근하는 설계일수록 더 나은 설계가 됨을 확인할 수 있다.

  • The human species has been able to fly for about a century - with the help of aircraft of various kinds. Recently. air vehicles which are like an insect or a bird with flapping wings have been appeared, although many of them are experimental flight vehicle. However, the rubber-powered flapping vehicle is put to practical use such as toy, which flies for some seconds. In this paper, we analyze and evaluate above the rubber-powered flight vehicle using axiomatic design and will present new four flapping wing model.

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차의 여러 모드 사이에 존재하는 연성항의 비연성을 위한 능동 제어력을 계산하여 연성항이 승차감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이 연성항을 비 연성화하기 위한 제어력을 계산하였으며, 현가장치의 반능동 제어에 적용하였다. 또 한 새로운 민감도 이론식을 제안하여 7자유도 현가계에 적용하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 특성변화예측을 하였다.

  • A novel method to find interaction dynamics between focusing direction and tracking direction in an optical pick-up is proposed. and the decoupling control to reduce the interaction effect is discussed. First, the basic principle to detect dynamic interaction analysis using back electromotive force is introduced. Second, the interaction analysis between focusing and tracking direction of is analyzed for a commercial slim type optical pick-up. Finally. decoupling control process and its simulation results are shown.

  • A novel method to measure the interaction movement, focusing direction and tracking direction in an optical pick-up, is proposed and the decoupling control for it is discussed. First, the basic principle of the coupline analysis method using back electromotive farce is introduced. Second, the interaction analysis between focusing direction and tracking direction fur commercial slim type actuator is performed using the proposed method. Finally, the coupling analysis and decoupling control for the slim type optical pick-up are discussed. From the brief simulation, we shows that the effectiveness and validity of the proposed method.

독립 공리를 이용한 구조 최적화 방법론 개발 (A Structural Optimization Methodology Using the Independence Axiom)

  • The Design Axioms provide a general framework for design methodologies. The axiomatic design framework has been successfully applied to various design tasks. However, the axiomatic design has been rarely utilized in the detailed design process of structures where the optimization technology is generally carried out. The relationship between the axiomatic design and the optimization is investigated and Logical Decomposition method is developed for a systematic structural optimization. The entire optimization process is decomposed to satisfy the Independence Axiom. In the decomposition process, design variables are grouped according to sensitivities. The sensitivities are evaluated by the Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) to avoid considering only local values. The developed method is verified through examples such as the twenty -five members transmission tower and the two -bay-six-story frame.

  • A robust optimal design considering fabrication influence has been performed for the decoupled vibratory microgyroscope fabricated by the bulk micromachining. For the analysis of the gyroscope, a design tool has been developed, by which user can perform the system level design considering electric signal process and the fabrication influence as well as mechanical characteristics. An initial design of the gyroscope is performed satisfying the performances of scale factor (or sensitivity) and phase delay, which depend on the frequency difference between driving and sensing resonant frequencies. The objective functions are formulated in order to reduce the variances of the frequency difference and the frequency in itself by fabrication error. To certify the results, the standard deviations are calculated through the Monte Caries Simulation (MCS) and compared initial deviation that is measured fabricated gyroscope chip.

  • The design process of the motor driven tilt/telescopic steering column is established by axiomatic design approach in conceptual design stage. By selecting independent design variables for improvin g performance of the steering system, each detailed design can be carried out independently. In the detailed design, the safety in crash environment and vibration reduction are considered. An occupant analysis code SAFE(Safety Analysis For occupant crash Environment) is utilized to simulate the body block test. Segments, contact ellipsoids and spring-damper elements are used to model the steering column in SAFE. The model is verified by the result of the body block test. After the model is validated, the energy absorbing components are designed using an orthogonal array. Occupant analyses are performed for the cases of the orthogonal array. Final design is determined for the minimum occupant injury. For vibrational analysis, a finite element model of the steering column is defined for the modal analysis. The model is validated by the vibration experiment. Size and shape variables are selected for the optimization process. An optimization is conducted to minimize the weight subjected to various constraints.

근거리 수중폭발에 따른 유체-구조 상호작용 취급을 위한 비연성 해석방법 (Uncoupled Solution Approach for treating Fluid-Structure Interaction due to the Near-field Underwater Explosion)

  • 수중폭발로 인해 발생된 충격파에 노출된 유체(대부분 해수)는 유체장 내 압력과 속력 등의 물리적 변화에 따른 장력을 견딜 수 없으므로 캐비테이션(기포 또는 기공)이 발생하게 되고 이때 발생된 캐비테이션은 수중폭발의 연쇄 과정 중 구조물에 미치는 충격하중의 전달 환경을 변화시킨다. 폭발물과 구조물 간의 거리가 비교적 가까워 선체구조의 국부적 손상에 관심을 가지는 근거리 수중폭발연구에서 관심을 가지는 물리적 현상은 크게 3가지로 초기충격파 그리고 그것과 선체구조와의 상호작용, 국부 캐비테이션, 국부 캐비테이션 폐쇄 후 2차 충격파이다. 본 논문의 관심은 근거리 수중폭발에 따른 국소 캐비테이션이므로 수면과 해저로부터의 반사파는 고려하지 않는다. 유체와 구조에 관한 각각의 지배 방정식을 유도하고 이를 간단한 1차원 무한평판 문제에 적용, 수치적으로 해석하여 엄밀해와 비교해봄으로써 제안된 비연성 해석방법을 검증한다. 비연성 해석방법은 유체-구조 결합 해석방법보다 계산상 효율이 높으며 간단함에도 불구하고 상대적으로 높은 수준의 정확도를 얻을 수 있다는 점에서 유용하다. 본 논문을 통해 수중폭발과 같은 복잡한 물리적 상황에서의 유체-구조 상호작용 현상에 대한 이해와 실질적인 문제에 개념적 이해를 높이는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

공리적 접근을 이용한 DVD용 초미세 발포 방진재 개발 (Developing Microcellular Foamed Vibration Isolator for DVD by Axiomatic Approach)

  • As the rotational speed of optical disk drive is increasing nowadays, the reliability to vibration and shock becomes more important. For this, various of rubber vibration isolators are being developed by varying the shape and hardness. But it is difficult for the hardness of common used rubber to be lowered below Duro 30 degrees, and because of the shape complexity of rubber vibration isolator there are difficulties of analysis. Microcellular foamed vibration isolator has various cell densities and cell sizes, so it can vary the stiffness and damping coefficient. In addition, its hardness can be lowered below Duro 30 degrees. Axiomatic Approach is very useful design method for designing new product or new process. Axiomatic Approach's character is scientific and analytical method. In this paper, developing process of microcellular foamed vibration isolator for DVD is presented with Axiomatic Approach.
