  • Recently, the effort that converge the sport and ICT continues together with developing ICT. The game is a representative example. The digital sport is developing as mixed type that are composed with sport and digital such as screen golf and screen bowling. The addiction problem exist in the digital sport like the addiction problem exist in general sport. In this paper, we propose the addiction model in the digital sport as fractional-order. We represent time series and phase portrait for nonlinear behavior from proposed fractional-order model and we confirms the difference between them.

  • The Sin-Wol filtration plant was an urban infrastructure and off-limits to the public. It is recreated as a representative experiential theme park in the southwest area. It has not only provided places to relax, but has made a new model of urban park by reusing advantages. The current lack of easy access into the park area almost isolates it like a green island. The neighborhood surrounding the park does not have many physical connections to the park to be able to use it. By connecting the surrounding communities with numerous access points into the park and linking the hiking trails and bike paths, the city's need for open space and recreation would be far better satisfied than before. This would allow for the use of the valuable assets of the existing forest and open space.

  • In this study, an operational analysis in the context of linear equations is presented. For the analysis, several second-order models concerning students' whole number knowledge and fraction knowledge based on teaching experiment methodology were employed, in addition to our first-order analysis. This ontogenetic analysis begins with students' Explicitly Nested number Sequence (ENS) and proceeds on through various forms of linear equations. This study shows that even in the same representational forms of linear equations, the mathematical knowledge necessary for solving those equations might be different based on the type of coefficients and constants the equation consists of. Therefore, the pedagogical implications are that teachers should be able to differentiate between different types of linear equation problems and propose them appropriately to students by matching the required mathematical knowledge to the students' potential constructs.

  • Fraction is one of the concepts which are difficult to elementary school students. So, many researches about fraction were performed in mathematics education research. In special, fraction has so many subordinative concepts-proper fraction, improper fraction, mixed number. We have to concentrate on the conceptual understanding in teaching of fraction. In this case, a mixed number and improper fraction are concepts which can convert respectively. And there are methods that a mixed number and improper fraction can be converted. So, it's needed to analyze the converting methods in textbooks for getting the implication of teaching in this areas. In this study, I analyzed the Korean and foreign's textbooks. I certified the methods-using addition expression, using part-whole model in the textbooks. For the conceptual understanding, I suggested to use the fusion of the various part-whole fraction models and addition expression more than the algorithm in converting between a mixed number and improper fraction. It's reason that the use of models in converting between a mixed number and improper fraction is important for the relational understanding.

  • In this paper, a statistical calibration method is proposed in order to identify the variability of complex modulus for a rubber material due to operational temperature and experimental/model errors. To describe temperature- and frequency-dependent material properties, a fractional derivative model and a shift factor relationship are used. A likelihood function is defined as a product of the probability density functions where experimental values lie on the model. The variation of the fractional derivative model parameters is obtained by maximizing the likelihood function. Using the proposed method, the variability of a synthetic rubber material is estimated and applied to a rubber mount problem. The dynamic characteristics of the rubber mount are calculated using a finite element model of which material properties are sampled from Monte Carlo simulation. The calculated dynamic stiffnesses show very large variation.

  • An optimization formulation is proposed to minimize sound pressures in a two-dimensional cavity by controlling the attachment area of viscoelastic unconstrained damping materials. For the analysis of structural- acoustic systems, a hybrid approach that uses finite elements for structures and boundary elements for cavity is adopted. Four-parameter fractional derivative model is used to accurately represent dynamic characteristics of the viscoelastic materials with respect to frequency and temperature. Optimal layouts of the unconstrained damping layer on structural wall of cavity are identified according to temperatures and the amount of damping material by using a numerical search algorithm.

  • Research in undergraduate mathematics education has been active very recently. The purpose of the paper is to investigate how college students make ion from some known informations about integer and rational numbers in algebra. Three college students were involved in the study. We analyze student's personal answers in order to find where their misunderstandings and difficulties come from based on the theoretical frameworks on mathematical understanding such as APOS-model and P-K-model. Finally we discuss about constructivist teaching ways for algebra and propose new paradigm for teaching undergraduate mathematics.

  • The threshold voltage shift in thin-film transistors (TFTs) is modeled using stretched-exponential (SE) and stretched-hyperbola (SH) functions. These models are derived by introducing empirical parameters into reaction rate equations that describe defect generation or charge trapping caused by hydrogen diffusion in the dielectric or interface. Separately, the dielectric relaxation phenomena are also described by the same reaction rate equations based on defect diffusion. Dielectric relaxation was initially modeled using the SE model, and various models have been proposed using fractional calculus. In this study, the characteristics of the threshold voltage shift and the dielectric relaxation phenomena are compared and analyzed to explore the applicability of analytical models used in the field of dielectric relaxation, in addition to the conventional SE and SH models.

  • The east Sea circulation is numerically modeled with refined grid resolution elaborated open boundary condition, and by directly imposing the measured surface temperature and salinity typical the east Korean Warm current are clearer than those in previous works. among others, The Ulleung warm Water and the Intermediate Water of minimum salinity are nicely reproduced. The latter is formed in the northern/northwestern coastal region in winter and is advocated southward by strong under-current. the former is associated with a locally generated anti-cyclonic gyres. The model indicates strong seasonal variation of Nearshore Current along the Japanese coast from wintertime barotropic to summertime baroclinic structures. the associated strong reversed under-cur-rent in summer is not well understood. Global circulation pattern is characterized by two regions of cyclonic and anti-cyclonic gyres in the north and south, respectively. The presence of these gyres indicates importance of local dynamics in East Sea circulation. This model, however, does not completely resolve the problem of overshooting of the East Korean Warm current.
