Analysis of Elementary Mathematics Textbooks Based on the Perspective of Constructivism Knowledge -with Focus on the Number and Operation Contents in 1st and 2nd Grades (구성주의 지식관이란 관점에서 초등학교 수학교과서 분석 -1학년과 2학년 수와 연산 영역을 중심으로-)

  • If the philosophy of the curriculum is changed when the curriculum is revised, discussion about knowledge viewpoints in the changed philosophy is needed. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze elementary mathematics textbooks(EMT) based on the perspective of constructivism knowledge as basic philosophy of the 7th curriculum and the 2007 revised curriculum and to present aim of textbooks development through the results. According to the results, the number and operation units of 1st and 2nd grades of EMT compiled according to the 7th curriculum and the 2007 revised curriculum didn't reflect the perspective of constructivism knowledge as the philosophy of the curriculum. From the analysis, EMT were not composed so as to agree the perspective of constructivism knowledge that emphasize concepts, conceptua1 principles, variety, integration.

  • Before evaluating convergent, discriminant, and known-groups validity, it is suggested to design an instrument that reflects hypothetical relationships or differences with other comparator instruments or groups. For criterion validity, a gold-standard instrument measuring the same construct should be carefully selected.

  • We consider the problem of estimating the error variance of in a two-way mixed-effects ANOVA model using noninformative priors. First, we derive Jeffreys' prior, a reference prior, and matching priors. We then provide marginal posterior distributions under those noninformative priors. Finally, we provide graphs of marginal posterior densities of the error variance and credible intervals for the error variance in two real data set and compare these credible intervals.

  • 이 연구는 프로그래밍 교과의 수행평가에서 자기주도적 학습능력 촉진을 위하여 학업성취도를 분석 및 예측하는 시스템을 목적으로 하였다. 이 연구에서 학업성취도의 평가는 루브릭을 적용하여 프로그래밍 수행평가의 채점을 논리력, 문제해결력, 창의력으로 측정하였으며 학업성취도를 분석하기 위해 학습자별 학업성취도를 측정 준거 별로 그래프로 표현하며 이동평균법을 적용하여 향후 점수를 예측하였다. 이로 인해 학습자는 평가 결과 그래프로 현재 자신의 학습상태를 파악하고 예측 결과로 자신의 학습의 준거 별 장 단점을 분석하여 학습 방향 및 학습시간에 대한 자기 성찰에 도움을 주어 자기주도적 학습능력을 촉진시킬 수 있도록 하였다.

Effects of Old-age Income Level on Life Satisfaction: Focusing on Effects of the Relative Income of Reference Groups (노후 소득수준이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향: 준거집단의 상대소득 효과를 중심으로)

  • In this study, the author utilizes longitudinal data of the recent 12 years to verify whether the absolute versus relative income of old age has a significant effect on their life satisfaction of life. The findings of this study show that there is a significant difference in life satisfaction of old age according to respondents' relative income of three reference groups based on their asset quintile and residental area and education. In the correlation analysis using the cross-sectional data, the absolute and relative income level was closely related to the life satisfaction. In the panel regression analysis using the 12 years longitudinal data from the Korea National Labour Panel dataset, the income level of counterparts in those reference groups appeared highly significant in determining the level of life satisfaction of the elderly. However, some demographic variables such as age and marital status did not have a statistically significant effect in the long-term perspective. The income of reference groups in terms of asset levels, education and region as well as their own past life satisfaction level had a significant effect on the elders' life satisfaction determination. These results suggest that the relative income hypothesis in terms of life satisfaction among the elderly is more valid than the previous absolute income hypothesis.

  • The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of invention education by presenting basic evaluation criteria that can be used when designing and preparing invention education programs in various educational institutions that operate invention education. The results of this study are as follows. First, the stage of the Invention Education Program was named '4P stage' as 4 stages of 'Planning, Preparation, Process, and Product'. Second, the areas of evaluation of the planning stage of the invention education program are 'goal setting, demand analysis' and curriculum design. The preparatory stage evaluation area is 'Developing an Invention Education Program, Securing Human Resources, Securing Physical Resources'. The evaluation area of the course level is 'program operation, program management, learner management'. The evaluation area of the calculation stage is 'education performance, achievement results, and education evaluation'. Invention education program evaluation criteria will play a role to enhance and manage the quality of invention education program. In addition, it is judged that this will be the basic data for developing evaluation criteria for the invention education program through the reconciliation process through reflux and the validation process of related experts at various invention education institutions.

Development of Indicator and Criteria for Level Measure of Educational Informatization of Students, Teachers, and Parents (학생, 교사, 학부모의 교육정보화 수준 측정 지표 개발 및 준거 설정)

  • This study has developed indicators and criteria for measuring educational informatization level of students, teachers and parents with regard to the national educational policy. The criteria for indicator of each group are also set up. As the results of the analysis, first, 4 areas, 10 elements, 24 sub-indicators are generated as the result of development of indicator for level measure of educational informatization. And different weights are established for each area, element and sub-indicator considering the characteristics of each category. Second, generated criteria are evaluated by specialists based on the indicator of education informatization and on a scale of 100. The criteria for students are evaluated to be 80.64, the criteria for teachers to be 80.90 and the criteria for parents to be 76.52 which was found to be the lowest. Therefore, this research was completed to determine which aspect should be supported more intensively when setting the directions of future educational informatization.

Research to Establish Bottom-up Early Childhood Educational/Child Care Policy Plan for Preventing Low Birth Rate (저출생 현상 대책을 위한 상향식 유아교육·보육정책 방안 수립 연구)

  • This study agrees with the seriousness of the low birth phenomenon in our country and discusses the analysis of the causes of low birth and the establishment of the policy measures for early childhood education and child care in relation to the low birth phenomenon. In particular, the purpose of the policy is to establish a policy plan for up-to-down early childhood education and child care that can be reflected in the policy by members related to early childhood education, breaking away from the existing one for top-down child education and child care. To this end, the research was conducted using Delphi technique and 20 experts in the field of early childhood education and child care were organized into expert panels. In this study, seven policies were proposed for opportunity compliance, eleven policies for service compliance, eight policies for compliance with goods/gift certificates/tax reduction, seven policies for compliance with cash benefits, and five policies for compliance with power. We hope that the bottom-up education and childcare policy measures proposed in this study will provide specific implications and suggestions for resolving the low birth rate.
