In order to obtain amino acids and nucleic acid derivatives from adenine auxotrophic mutants of Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli, vitamin, nucleic acid analogue, streptomycin as well as ultraviolet light were adopted for the production of adenine auxotrophic mutants and the results showed efficient production of desired mutants. 1. Ultraviolet ray $(2530\;{\AA}\;2080\;erg/mm^2)$ irradiation to Bacillus subtilis and E. coli at a distance of 30 cm for 80-90 sec. and for 15-20 sec. respetively induced four and eight strains of auxotrophic mutants. 2. Treatment of aminopterine$(200\;{\mu}g/ml)$ inhibited the growth of Bacillus sultilis significantly but a subsequent irradiation of ultraviolet light at the above mentioned conditions induced six times as much mutants as compared to the irradiation alone. In case of E. coli a similar tendency was observed with treatment of streptomycin$(200\;{\mu}g/ml)$ with doubled induction rate of adenine auxotrophic mutants as compared to the irradiation alone.

The purpose of this study is to consider the appearance of the global generation transnational identity and forming process, existence aspect, functional role, and on the actuating mechanism, and etc. The results about the transnational identity of Diaspora and diversity are as follows. First, as to the transnational identity, the emigrants had been being determined by the relation with the accreditation and how type had been deal with one's decision about the self-identify. Second, the individual experience of the emigrant, interaction, and unstable status political support etc. various factors were combined and the diversity of the Diaspora identity showed. Third, the identity concept had been performing the function in the more expanded meaning called the nation and nation through the continuous meaning expansion than the individual as the national ideology. Fourth, the transnational identity of Korean-Chinese was specialized into the nation identity, double identity, and 'the identity of the third' etc. Fifth, the transnational identity of the Nikkei-Brazilian appeared for Japanese identity, Brazilian identity, and Nikkeijin identity etc. in Japan. In conclusion, the Transnational identity of the Diaspora is reproducing the identity of the emigrant, it suggests through the differentiation in the settlement and exclusion.

A system that can discriminate monosyliables automatically from sequential input of Korean character's data without space codes is proposed. Korean characters are synthesized by two to seven elements out of twenty four basic elements. Three thousands Korean characters are formalized into thirty character forms discriminates monosyllable automatically by detecting seven form features and character length. In this result, this system, compared with the input method with space codes which have been used to separate each syllable, can save about 25% of the memory capacity of computer and improves about 30% of the processing speed of Korean characters.

Several methods are proposed in the literature for losses segregation of single phase induction motor. Generally we could divide two methods for experimental determination of losses segregation for single phase induction motor. The one is relatively complicated method based on Parameter estimation of single phase induction motor. The other is simple method based on IEEE Standard 114. Segregation of losses in single phase induction motor is more complicated than that in three phase induction motor, because of the backward magnetic field component in the motor and multiplicity of different single phase type. In this paper, therefore, we studied losses segregation of capacitor-run single phase induction motor.

본 논문은 한국어를 대상으로 하는 자연언어 처리 시스템을 개발하는데 있어서 기초가 되는 지식베이스의 구축에 대하여 논한다. 한국어의 일반문에서 단문을 분리해 내기 위하여 형태소 해석의 결과로부터 도출한 구 단위를 한-일 기계번역 시스템의 구문, 의미 해석기(VCPN) 을 적용하여 절단위로 결합한다. 그리고 이들 단위절에 대하여 대명사의 조응관계, 생략에의 재생을 위한 추론, 부정어, 시제일치 등을 처리하여 논리적 지식베이스를 구성하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 입력문장에 제한을 두지 않고 단문으로부터 장문에 이르기까지 광범위한 일반문을 대상으로 하여 Horn Clause 이론을 확장한다.

The foam height was increased with the increase of protein concentration in the bulk solution and the decrease of the pore size. And it was increased at higher superficial air velocities and leveled off at beyond 0.84 cm/sec. It was the highest in the region of strong acid and foam height was recovered at pH 7. The influence of salts, such as NaCl, $NaHCO_3$, promoted to form.

전주기술은 전기도금을 이용하여 몰드 위에 도금한 후 도금층만을 분리하여 부품을 만들거나 정밀한 형상의 표면을 복제하려는 금속 성형공정의 하나이다. 최근 고분자소재용 미소금형 제조에 전주기실의 응용이 확대되면서 니켈뿐만 아니라 니켈합금전주에까지 관심이 고조되고 있으며 니켈합금전주는 합금피막의 요구조건에 따라 Co, Fe, Mn, W, P 등 다양한 원소를 합금원소로 선택가능하다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 국내 전주기술은 설파민산 니켈을 중심으로 활발히 진행되어 왔으나, 니켈합금 전주에 대한 연구는 미비한 상태다. 이는 전주 기술이 전류밀도, 도금액 조성, pH, 온도 교반조건 등과 관련된 복합기술로서 최적의 피막 제조를 위해서는 도금액 개발과 함께 적잘한 전주장비 개발이 병행되어야 하는 복잡한 작업이기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 몰드금형 제작용 전주니켈도금액을 제작하기 위해 고경도, 저응력의 이원계 NiX 도금액을 제조에 대한 내용을 다루었다.

A method for isolation and qantitative determination of anemarsaponin B from the rhizomes of Anemarrhena asphodeloides has been developed. Isolation of anemarsaponin B was achieved by silica gel and RP-18 column chromatography. The HPLC method for quantitative determination of anemarsaponin B provided a method for standardization of the crude drug. It suggested that the content of anemarsaponin B in Anemarrhena asphodeloides is about 0.12-1.48%.

원자력 발전소가 전력계통으로부터 분리되어 외부전원으로 발전소 내부의 주요 보조기기들을 운전할 수 없는 상황에서 비상디젤 발전기는 원자력발전소의 핵심 냉각펌프 등 전원을 공급하지 않으면 안 된다. 현재까지는 품질등급 Q-Class인 비상 발전기 여자시스템이 외국 기술에 전적으로 의존하여 공급되었는데 비상발전기가 차지하는 역할의 중요성으로 인한 품질활동 절차, 규제기관의 인허가 획득 등의 문제 때문에 비상 디젤발전기의 여자시스템이 현재까지 국산 연구개발이 이루어지지 않았다. 본 논문은 원전 비상디젤 발전기 여자시스템의 국산개발에 필요한 시스템의 기기 검증에 대한 내용을 기술하고자 한다.

In this paper, we propose the non-blocking pattern generator(NBPG) for banyan ATM switches and evaluate the performance by simulation. The proposed NBPG first classifies input cells into two groups. the conflict intended cells are assigned to their new non-blocking input addresses by the conflict table. Simulation results show that the NBPG generates non-blocking address patterns with minimal changes.
