  • Technologies on energy saving and materials used in curtain walls have progressed with increase of high-rise and large buildings. This study is explain fire resistance performance of the curtain walls. And focused on bond strength of light-weight inorganic ceramic board in high temperature for fire resistant curtain-wall system. From the result, curtain-wall system high fire resistant using the light-weight inorganic ceramic board.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the adhesion strength of metal spray coating system in steel using high-frequency arc metal spray method. For the purpose the experimental factor such as surface roughness was selected at 3 levels. As a result of experiment, it appeared that high-frequency arc metal spray method had higher adhesion strength than existing metal spray method. Especially, Al-Mg showed the highest adhesion strength than other metals. In case of surface roughness, the higher roughness steel has, the higher adhesion strength appeared.

  • Recently, water treatment facility is usually eastablished in underground, and waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials for concrete structures applied water treatment tank is developing in various ways. However, as the limit of research focused on durability improvement of top coating material, it is insufficient to study on the adhesion strength between the concrete surface and primer. Therefore, there is to confirm the adhesion of between concrete surface and the three primers used as anti-corrosion waterproofing materials, and to investigate the properties of adhesion strength according to the condition such as wet codition and water pressure condition of the concrete surface in this study.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate bond strength between substrate and HES-LMS mortar, durability of HES-LMS mortar with latex content(0%, 5%, 10%). To measure the bond strength, the direct tensile test based on uniaxial tensile test was used, which was proposed by Kuhlman(1990). Also, Resistance for water permeability, water absorption and image analysis for air void system were conducted to estimating durability of HES-LMS mortar.

  • The recent introduction of Metal spraying method apply to construction and civil steel structure is increasing. In applying the metal spraying lining process of construction and civil steel structure to secure the adhesion strength between the metal thermal spray coating and the steel structure and the highest priority requirements are required bond strength test reliable measurement accordingly. In this study, by calculating the deposition intensity and the standard deviation, coefficient of variation corresponding to the bonding area, unlike the shape of the attachment we compared the results.

  • In this study, to overcome the limitation of material application as the surface layer of bridge decks (asphalt concrete, concrete), a newly developed waterproof sheet is proposed to be usable for both asphalt concrete and concrete. Subsequent tensile bond strength was tested, and the test results showed that the tensile bond strengths were similar to depending on the type of the surface layer material for bridge decks, confirming the applicability of the proposed material.

  • In the study, based on analysing bond strength of MPC and existing rapid harding grout according to shape of cross section, early ages shape of cross section is investigated about effect on bond strength to use MPC as an emergency repair material for road defects such as the form of a pot-hole. The result, MPC is about 10% higher than the shear bond strength rapid harding grout, about 20% higher bending bond strength.

  • External Insulation Method is to place the insulation on the outside of concrete. External Insulation Method is better than Internal Insulation Method to the protection of structure. However, The phenomenon that External Insulation falling from the structure occurs frequently. Apply method of External Insulation is divided Wet Construction, Dry Construction and Wet & Dry Construction. The purpose of this study is to test Bonding Strength of External Insuation. Furthermore, on the basis of this study, External Insulation Method determines the effective development will be made.

  • The bonding of steel bar to concrete is closely related to the roughness and corrosion degree of steel bar surface. The accelerated corrosion of concrete specimens with different reinforcement diameters was carried out in this test. Through the pullout test of the corroded concrete specimens, the relationship between the bond stress and the displacement of the corroded concrete specimens under the corresponding corrosion degree was obtained. The bond stress of reinforced concrete with different size and corrosion degree are compared and analyzed to find out the influence of corrosion on the bonding property of reinforced concrete.

  • In this study, the bond strength characteristics of cement liquid waterproofing are confirmed. Investigation was made on the properties of adhesion strength due to cement liquid waterproof construction methods and changes in curing temperature. It is intended to reduce the possibility of tiles falling off by ensuring the adhesion strength of the cement liquid waterproofing.
