The Effects of Self-esteem, Shopping Motivations, and Shopping Tendencies on the Clothing Purchase Behavior of the MZ Generation (MZ세대의 자아존중감, 쇼핑동기 및 쇼핑성향이 의복구매행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand how self-esteem, shopping motivations, and shopping tendencies affect the clothing purchase behavior of the so-called "MZ generation," a cohort that includes both millenials and Generation Z and exerts significant influence in various areas. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, it was found that extrinsic purchase motivations (purchased made due to the influence of other people), trend-seeking shopping tendencies, and pleasure-seeking shopping tendencies had a positive and significant effect on personal needs among the sub-factors of clothing purchase behavior of the MZ generation. Second, it was found that the MZ real purchase shopping motivations, trend-seeking shopping tendencies, pleasure-seeking shopping tendencies, and convenience-seeking shopping tendencies had a positive and significant effect on actual needs among the sub-factors of clothing purchase behavior among the MZ generation. Third, it was found that social self-esteem, extrinsic purchase motivations, and convenience-seeking shopping tendencies had a positive and significant effect on clothing marketing strategies among the sub-factors of clothing purchase behavior of the MZ generation. On the other hand, personal self-esteem was found to negatively affect the marketing strategies of clothing purchase behavior. In other words, the expectation that the MZ generation would buy clothes in accordance with their individual preferences and beliefs was not supported by the findings of this study. It would appear that the beliefs and behaviors of the digitally savvy MZ generation are changed by the fashion trend-related information they readily access when purchasing clothing. From the above research results, it can be concluded that there many variables that influence the clothing purchase behavior of the MZ generation and it is thus necessary to consider this cohort a new consumer segment and establish marketing strategies accordingly.

  • Information is the most important rather then wealth in the information age. According to propagation of the information by new media, this era is called communication innovation age. And away of thought and life style as well as a society system are changing. Propagation by newspaper and TV as well as new media makes new view on value of consumers, and they recognize propensity to consume as needs from emotion rather than economical value. Changes of thoughts make lots of innovation:from one side, modern design to multi-meanimg design, from consuming of products to consuming of the image, from outer object to inner object, from consuming by mass to consuming individually by fashion. It means the possibilities that a meaning could be interpreted variously. Sign is a configuration for communication with discourse, which is the communication between meaning maker and meaning solver. In this study, various expression of sign in advertising were divided into direct expression and metaphoritical expression which was analysed deeply because it was recoquized as proper expression methed in postmodem design.

  • 본 연구는 쓰레기 처리문제와 관련하여 분리수거, 감량화, 재활용 등에 적극적으로 참여해야 할 주부소비자를 중심으로 환경보전의식과 환경보전행동을 살펴보고 관련된 변인들을 분석해 봄으로써 환경보전에 대한 소비자의 책임감과 올바른 환경관을 고취시키고 나아가 환경교육프로그램의 개발과 환경정책에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 주부의 환경보전의식 수준은 평균 4.25(5점만점)로 높게 나타났으며, 연령과 주거형태에 따라서만 유의한 차이를 보였다. 환경보전행동 수준은 평균 3.56으로 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 연령, 학력, 월평균 가계소득이 높을수록 분리수거함이 존재할 경우, 반상회에 참여함에 따라 높게 나타났으며 변화추구에 소극적이고 적극활동형, 전통주의형, 합리주의형, 현실안정형의 성향이 높은 주부일수록 환경보전의식 및 행동이 높게 나타났다. 또한 주부의 쓰레기 처리에 대한 관심도는 평균 3.97로 비교적 높게 나타났으며 연령, 학부, 분리수거함의 존재, 주거형태가 아파트와 단독주택인 경우에 관심도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2) 주부의 환경보전의식 및 행동과 쓰레기 처리에 대한 관심도간에는 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3) 주부의 쓰레기 처리에 대한 관심도에 영향을 미치는 변인으로는 환경보전운동에의 참여행도, 환경교육, 적극활동형, 변화추구형, 재활용행동으로 나타났다.

Profiling Female College Students' Apparel Buying Decision-Making Styles (여대생들의 의류구매 의사결정 스타일 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this study were (1) to segment female college students' apparel shoppers into unique apparel buying decision-making style groups; and (2) to profile for each segment in terms of personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion information sources. Data were collected through questionnaires from convenient sample of 290 female college students. As a result of cluster analysis and univariate analysis of variance, distinctive consumer decision-making style groups of consumers were identified; Value-maximizing Recreational Shoppers, Brand-Maximizing Emotional Shoppers, and Apathetic Shoppers. These three groups were compared as to the effect of personal characteristics variables and fashion information sources through univariate analysis of variance and chi-square statistics. The result showed that personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion-information sources do influence the consumer decision-making styles and that these three groups were unique in their decision-making characteristics showing that consumer decision-making styles can be a good segmentation base for apparel market.

신선 과채류 편의식품의 새로운 품질보존 기술

  • 전체적인 국민 생활수준의 향상에 따라 건강에 대한 관심이 매우 높아지면서 고품질의 신선 식품에 대한 수요가 급격히 늘고 있는 추세이다. 그 가운데에서도 과일, 채소류의 비중이 점차 증대되고 있으며, 이들의 가공제품보다는 신선한 식품에 대한 소비 성향이 괄목할 만한 성장세를 나타내고 있다. 이와 함께 신선 과일, 채소류의 소비에 있어 변화하고 있는 또 다른 경향은 소비자가 이용시 간편성과 합리성을 추구하고 있다는 점이다. 이에 따라 최근에는 각종 신선편의식품이 시대의 조류에 맞춰 출시되고 있으며, 특히 이들 상품에 대한 수요는 여성의 사회진출, 맞벌이 부부의 증가, 독신자의 증가, 노인층 구매력의 증가 등 여러 가지 사회환경 변화에 부응하여 더 더욱 증대할 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본고에서는 한국식품개발연구원이 보건복지부의 연구비 지원으로 수행중인 보건의료기술 개발과제와 관련하여 신선 과채류 편의식품의 안전성 및 저장성 측면에서 품질향상을 위해 적용할 수 있는 각종 새로운 기술, 즉 원재료에서 포장된 상품 상태까지 과일, 채소류의 최소가공 과정을 포함한 전 단계의 처리방법을 소개하고 자 한다.

  • 생활 패턴의 변화와 소득수준이 향상됨에 따라 과실류에 대한 소비자의 기호 성향은 고급화 및 신선도를 추구하는 경향이 증가하고 있으며 따라서 과실의 비파괴 품질판정기술의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 과실에 대한 여러 외부품질 인자중 과실의 경도는 일차적으로 기계적 특성으로 이해되어 가공기계의 설계 시 이송장치 등과 같이 과실과 직접 접촉하는 부분들에 대한 세부적인 설계에 필요한 기초 물성일 뿐만 아니라 포장재 등을 설계하는 필요한 중요한 인자로 사용되고 있다. 또한 경도는 저장 및 유통과정 중에 발생하는 부패 등에도 관련하여 이미 외국에서는 많은 연구가 진행 중에 있으며 특히 숙도 등과 같은 품질변화와 관계가 있는 것으로 보고되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 소비자의 구매행위시 가장 중요시하는 선택 기준 중의 하나이며 과실의 장기 저장성을 결정하는 주요한 품질 인자라고 할 수 있다.   • 현대 사회에서 운동 부족의 원인은 바로 빠른 삶을 추구하는 우리나라 사람들의 성향에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이런 현대사회에서 빠른 삶을 추구할수록 사람들은 단기간에 많은 효과를 보려고 무리한 운동을 한다. 갑작스러운 운동은 우리 몸에 이로운 것이 아니라 스트레스를 쌓이게 하고 이렇게 쌓인 스트레스는 고혈압, 심근경색, 뇌졸중 등 심혈관계 질환에 영향을 미치는 중요한 위험요인이다. 혈압은 정서적 긴장이나 주위 환경 및 활동에 따라서 변동하기 때문에 갑작스런 운동은 혈압에 좋지 않은 영향을 줄 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 갑작스런 운동량에 따른 혈압 변화와 얼굴색과의 상관성을 알아보기 위해 운동량에 따른 혈압 변화와 얼굴 영역 추출 후 얼굴영역에 나타나는 색상 변화를 Lab 값 중 a값의 변화를 비교, 분석하였다.

A Study on acceptance of multi-national product according to Korean consumer's purchasing tendency: Focusing on high involvement product (한국소비자의 구매성향에 따른 복합원산지제품 수용에 관한 연구: 고관여제품을 중심으로)

  • Many studies on the acceptance of multi-national products have made academic contributions by offering various implications. However, there have been relatively few studies on the attitudes and behaviors of multi-national products depending on the purchasing tendency of consumers. The purpose of this study is to investigate how acceptance process of multi-national product, which is high involvement, appears by sorting consumers' purchasing tendency into rational consumption tendency, brand pursuit tendency, and consciousness of other people. Also, in order to supplement the measurement method of existing research, this study sought to analyze the acceptance behavior of consumers more precisely by classifying the situation before and after exposures of multi-national origin information on products. For this, 266 consumers were surveyed and statistical analysis was conducted through structural equation modeling. As a result of the research model, it was found that consciousness of other people has a significant effect on susceptibility and antipathy of multi-national product. In addition, antipathy against multi-national products has more powerful effect than susceptibility.

  • Today, firms are constantly transforming and innovating to survive under the rapidly changing business environment. The introduction of cloud computing services has become popular throughout society as a whole and is expected to result in many changes and developments not only in firms and but also in the public sector subject to innovation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the characteristics of cloud computing services on the perceived expected performance according to innovativeness based on innovation diffusion theory. The results of the analysis of the data collected from this research are as follows. The convenience and understanding of individuals' work as well as the benefits of cloud computing services to them depend on the innovative trend of cloud computing services. Further, the expectations for personal benefit and those for organizational benefit of cloud computing services are different from each other. Leading firms in the global market have been actively engaged in the utilization of cloud computing services in the public sector as well as in private firms. In consideration of the importance of cloud computing services, using cloud computing services as the target of innovation diffusion research is important. The results of the study are expected to contribute to developing future research models for the diffusion of new technologies, such as big data, digital convergence, and Internet of Things.

  • High quality-oriented consumers, new rationalism and concept-oriented consumption followed by high sensitivity fashion market are embossing the importance of fashion M.D. This study has a purpose to make practical and general approach to consumers' taste, trend receptivity, the propensity to consume, and how they are practically connected with market strategy. As a results of this study, First niche market, targeting a new consumer group, is embossed as consumers have new fashion lifestyle. Second, we need a strategy to fractionize fashion by developing concepts suitable for consumers' each scene, not by following radical trends for mature consumers. Third, to satisfy consumers' propensity to originally, we need to establish the identity of Korean original goods which can compete with world-famous brands.
