  • 여러 인공지능 서비스의 보급은 초고성능 컴퓨팅 시스템 아키텍처의 변화를 야기하였고 다양한 계산 자원들의 활용이 모색되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 계산 자원들의 수용을 위해 범용적으로 사용되는 PCIe 버스를 기반으로 시스템 버스 확장 장치를 설계하고 구현하였다. PCIe 4.0 스위치를 기반으로 하는 확장 보드와 어댑터 카드를 개발하였고 GPU를 활용하여 실제 시스템으로의 활용 가능성을 검증하였다.

A Study on the Factors Affecting to Service Satisfaction of Intra-city Bus Users (시내버스 이용자의 서비스만족 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • After enforcing 2007 semi-public management system of intra-city bus, Busan city has tried to promote the bus utilization through bus service improvements. As an effort for this, we attempted to clarify the main factors affecting to bus service satisfaction targeting intra-city bus users. In this study, 20 subcategories of intra-city bus service were assorted into 6 factors: Basic Service, Safe Driving, Route Information, Comfort, Cleanliness and Facilities, then the preference for each detailed bus service were analyzed. And the effects for bus service satisfaction were shown under the various conditions according to the general characteristics of intra-city bus users (gender, age), behavioral traffic characteristics (frequency of use, boarding time) and transportation environments (temperature, rainfall). These results would be important basic data for decision-making in bus policy for climate change and establishment of operating plan for bus utilization.

  • Since Many person go to work or get off, it is difficult to use the public transportation comfortably on the morning or the evening. In this paper, we implement the passenger notification system on the bus using the NFC. The implemented system counts the number of passengers with the NFC reader for the fare. The user is able to find out the crowds of the bus transferred from the server before hop-in.

  • In this paper, described a design result of bus interface modulo for multiple level MU-SID-1553 data bus network. In general, MIL-SID-1553 network is used for single level data bus topology. But, according to applied system's structure. multiple level bus architecture is required., And for his, micro processor must be involved for system be, and a additional hardware and software functions are needed. The designed data bus interface module is simply consists of communication transceivers and simple electronic circuit without micro processor. Through the hardware testing and software simulation, the functional performance of the designed interface module was successfully validated.

  • A large RAID system may consist of several PCI bus segments since a PCI bus segment can connect only a limited number of disks. In this paver, PCI bus transactions in a RAID system are classified in terms of the initiator and the target of the transaction. Also, the data transfer time of each transaction type is analyzed. By using the analysis results, read and write performance of two RAID system configurations are formulated. From simulation of the RAID system using the DEVS formalism, performance of the configurations are evaluated and compared with the analytical results while changing various system parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 메타버스 공간에서 패션 아이템 판매에 있어서 필수적이라 할 수 있는 온라인 가상 피팅 기술을 동작 인식 전용 디바이스가 아닌 일반 스마트폰 카메라를 활용하여 구현하는 기술을 제안한다. 가상 피팅 기술을 구현하기 위해서는 딥러닝 기법을 활용하여 입력 영상을 분석하고, 분석 결과를 토대로 인체의 전체 자세를 추정하며, 인체 사이즈의 근사값을 추출하는 과정들이 수행되어야 하는데, 현재의 스마트폰 컴퓨팅 환경은 이를 수행하기에 충분한 연산 성능을 가지지 못한다는 문제점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 높은 비용이 요구되는 고부하 연산을 클라우드 서버를 통해 수행하는 서버 기반 프레임워크를 도입하여, 낮은 성능의 스마트폰으로도 고성능 연산이 가능한 서비스 구조를 확보하고 이를 통해 휴대성 높은 증강현실 기반의 가상 피팅 기술을 구현한다. 본 논문의 성과를 통해 메타버스 상거래의 활성화와 메타버스 본연의 의미에 충실한 가상 월드 구축에 기여할 것이라 기대한다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 메타버스 교수법 적용을 통해 문제점을 파악하고 활용방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 교수법을 효율적으로 달성하기 위해 각각 전공이 다른 교수자가 참여하여 학습법을 공유하였다. 대부분 메타버스 활용으로 흥미로운 학습법이 이루어진 반면에 다양한 문제점도 나타났다. 활용방안으로 게임, 토론, 대화 등을 통해 사전에 충분히 숙달될 수 있도록 하고, 정규수업이 아닌 비정규 교과목에서 우선 적용, 아바타 꾸미기 활용으로 보다 즐겁게 수업 참여 유도, 가상현실속에서 예의범절 지키기 등 학습 환경 이해, 학생들의 가상공간을 통해 자신들의 언어로 수업을 이끌어 흥미 유발, 젭 스페이스에서 나만의 강의실 만들기, 친구와 대화 및 상호작용 시행, 이론 교과목 수업 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용, 모의토론 및 발표 자유롭게 유도, 자신만의 케릭터 꾸미기, 진로코칭 및 상담 적용, 수업 종료후 학생만의 추가 활동 유도 등 활용방안이 제시되었다.

  • This paper addresses the issue of continuous user authentication within the metaverse environment. Recently, the metaverse plays a vital role in personal interaction, entertainment, education, and business, bringing forth significant security concerns. Particularly, vulnerabilities related to user identity verification have emerged as a major issue. This research proposes a novel method to verify identities by analyzing users' character movements in the metaverse through a pose estimation model. This method uses only video data for authentication, allowing flexibility in limited environments, and investigates how character movements contribute to user identification through various experiments. Furthermore, it explores the potential for extending this approach to other digital platforms. This research is expected to significantly contribute to enhancing security and innovating user identity verification methods in the metaverse environment.

  • Metaverse provides a simulated environment that can produce various values while conducting economic, social, and cultural activities in a digital society where the virtual and real worlds are connected. In this paper, the direction of technological progress is predicted by analyzing the characteristics of Metaverse services and their businesses. Technologies and latest researches for the realization of the Metaverse service platform are also explored. In addition, Metaverse Ethics to construct a sustainable Metaverse and Metaverse UX to increase users' service participation are also discussed. Moreover, the R&D promotion strategy for Metaverse services are presented.

Fast and Accurate Performance Estimation of Bus Matrix for Multi-Processor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) (멀티 프로세서 시스템-온-칩(MPSoC)을 위한 버스 매트릭스 구조의 빠르고 정확한 성능 예측 기법)

  • This paper presents a performance estimation technique based on queuing analysis for on-chip bus matrix architectures of Multi-Processor System-on-Chips(MPSoCs). Previous works relying on time-consuming simulation are not able to explore the vast design space to cope with increasing time-to-market pressure. The proposed technique gives accurate estimation results while achieving faster estimation time than cycle -accurate simulation by order of magnitude. We consider the followings for the modeling of practical memory subsystem: (1) the service time with the general distribution instead of the exponential distribution and (2) multiple-outstanding transactions to achieve high performance. The experimental results show that the proposed analysis technique has the accuracy of 94% on average and much shorter runtime ($10^5$ times faster at least) compared to simulation for the various examples: the synthetic traces and real-time application, 4-channel DVR.
