  • The purpose of present research is to offer a specialized educational opportunity for potential users, university students in radiology, by developing specific curriculum on site at KAERI, using HANARO research reactor and National radiation research facilities. The specific items of this research accomplished are: First, Development and operation of various curricula for specific research using HANARO and National radiation research facilities to provide university students with opportunities to use the facilities. Second, Operation of the experiment training programs for university students in radiology to foster next generation specialists. Third, through the on-site experiment training for students in radiology, support future potential experts of the radiation research fields, and broaden the base. A textbook and a teaching aid, a questionnaire have been developed to support the program. 714 university students have completed the courses for radiology experiment from 2006 to 2017. It is hoped that these experiments broaden public awareness and acceptance by the present and potential future utilization of the research reactor and national radiation research facilities, thereby bring positive impacts to policy making.

The research method was descriptive research. Data was 188 students collected from June 1 to July 31 in 2021 using structured questionnaires as students in the Department of Radiology(science). Collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0. The result of the study showed that the academic achievement was 3.43, ego-resilience was 3.37 and smart media literacy was 2.94. There was a significant positive correlation between a academic achievement and smart media literacy, academic achievement and ego-resilience. Factors influencing academic achievement were smart media literacy, ego-resilience, major satisfaction and practice satisfaction. As a result of the above research. it is necessary to develop and apply curriculums, extra curriculums and educational programs that improve the smart media literacy and ego-resilience in order to improve the academic achievement. • The purpose of this study was to confirm the degree of other behaviors among university students in the department of radiology(science) who experienced online classes in the COVID-19 situation and to investigate the effect of self-directed learning ability, flow and academic achievement on other behaviors. The research method was descriptive research. Data were 200 students collected from June 1 to 30 in 2022 using structured questionnaires as students in the Department of Radiology(science). Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0. The result of the study showed that the other behaviors were in the order of 'having s different thought, and 'sending text messages'. other behaviors was 1.75, self-directed learning ability was 3.60, flow was 3.23 and academic achievement was 4.29. There was a significant negative correlation between other behaviors and self-directed learning ability, flow, academic achievement. Factors influencing other behaviors were academic achievement, age, flow, self-directed learning ability in that order. As a result of the above research. it is expected that specific measures and various teaching methods to be flowed in the class are need as the way to lower the other behaviors of university students in the Department of Radiology(science) is to increase academic achievement.

  • This study was performed in order to identify the relation between bone nineral density and life styles of some of Korean colleage students. A total of 121 college students were assessed through bone mineral density test on femoral neck and lumbar spine using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry(DEXA). The survey about their lifestyles with a self-rating questionnaire, was conducted from September 2014 to November 2014. SPSS 18.0 Program was used for those research data analyses such as the frequency analysis, the cross analysis. The percentage of the osteoporisis, osteopenia and normal groups were 0.0%, 24.8% and 75.2%. BMI, Regular menstrual cycle, Walking and Regular exercise in adolescence were positively related with T-score. But Using time of electronic devices was negative related with T-score. It can be concluded that desirable life style in time of college students and adolescence is important for their bone health. The necessity of preparing guideline for preventing bone disease in old age connected with the school curriculum should be recognized to the public and educational authorities.

  • This study was conducted to serve as a basis for education by identifying the correlation of college admission type, college-life satisfaction and academic achievement of radiologic science students. Data were collected from 2 universities and 2 colleges located in Gyeonggi Provice, North Chungcheong Province, North Gyeongsang Province. A total of 371 questionnaires were collected, 363 of which were included in this study. The results showed that there were no differences in academic achievement according to the type of college admission. It could be able to interpret that since department of radiologic science is popular, students with high academic records applies the department of radiologic science and there are less deviation of academic records among students. A correlation analysis of academic achievement showed learning attitude is a statistically valid factor. Learning attitudes can be changed by exposure to the environment. This will require a variety of program development for improving learning attitudes. In addition, academic achievement of radiologic science students is associated with license acquisition. It need to be made together research on determinants and development of learning method to improve the learning attitude.
