A Operating by the Direct Thrust Control of SLIM in Conveyor System (반송용 SLIM의 추력제에에 의한 운전특성)

  • In this paper, the thrust control of PWM Inverter-Fed SLIM(Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) is achieved with Space Vector control and PI control. The trembling of air gap length which is occurred between the primary winding core and the secondary structure of the SLIM must be minimized in order to get quick response characteristics. First, the equivalent circuits and voltage equations of SLIM are shown on th suitable d-q axis which analyze characteristics of the thrust and the normal force. Also, modeling and analysis of the equivalent circuits transferred d-q axis are able to make robust transient torque from the current regulation in the equivalent circuit. These results exemplified the direct drive of SLIM with the reference speed and torque were verified by experiments.

  • HVAC&R system costs can often be one of the most expensive components, representing approximately 15% of the total construction cost for office buildings. Despite their significant importance, there is a lack of a consistent and homogeneous framework to approximate the estimate research. This research deals with the prediction methodology of HVAC&R system cost with the aim of establishing a common idea for the analysis of the construction cost estimate. Our approach deals with the concept of an HVAC&R set that is composed of subsystems. The matrix combination analysis is examined, and total 960 HVAC&R system cost estimation can be implemented to large scale office buildings.

  • This paper presents the design characteristics and strategies applied for steel-cored PMLSM(Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor) considering the running conditions. Particularly, optimal design consideration on steel-cored PMLSM for short reciprocating trajectory using dynamic capability and dynamic constraints has been performed. Furthermore, thermal aspects, detent force, and magnetic saturation in design of steel-cored PMLSM have been investigated.

  • Lots of needs are being paid for how to design HVAC system in large-scale buildings. Increasing awareness of energy use is main point of this research. HVAC systems' energy characteristics are not clearly identified and understood, so the optimal design of HVAC system is very important. The energy parameters of HVAC design that are system input energy, water/air moving equipments (pumps/fans) energy and outdoor air conditioning energy for IAQ are important. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for energy conservational HVAC design strategies.

  • As an application of the GPS/SDINS integration for its synergistic results, the alignments of the SDINS utilizing GPS carrier phase rate measurements is introduced. A measurement model of GPS carrier phase rate, which does not require integer ambiguity determination process, is newly derived in order to be adopted with the SDINS in-flight alignment process. For in-flight alignment, the performance of the GPS/SDINS integration method suggested in this paper is analyzed using the covariance analysis.

  • OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)is a one of the nst promising digital modulation techniques adapted for Digital audio broadcasting or Digital TV since it is very robust against multipath fading channels. From 1997, since the OFDM technique was considered as the physical layer standard for the high data rate wireless LAN systems in the 5㎓ band, related studies have been studied actively. The key element to implement high data rate wireless LAN system using OFDM technique are IFFT and FFT modules. In this paper, new IFFT and FFT module are designed and implemented using current cut circuit based on the matrix-rounding process for the low-power consumptive operation and high-speed data processing. In addition to, we certify the available operation of the rounded IFFT/FFT module in the AWGN channel by using the BER performance simulation of IEEE 802.11TGa based OFDM modem with rounded IFFT/FFT module.

  • HVAC&R systems are the most energy consuming building services, representing approximately half of the final energy use in the building sector. Despite their significant energy use, there is a lack of a consistent and homogeneous framework to efficiently guide research. This research is about the energy consumptions of HVAC&R systems, with the aim of establishing a common idea for the analysis of building energy efficiency. Our approach deals with the concept of an HVAC&R set that is composed of subsystems. A matrix combination evaluation is examined, and a total of 960 sets can be implemented in a large scale office building. A method as a tool for energy evaluations of HVAC&R systems, and HEET as a energy simulation program, were developed.

  • In this paper, we design a sequential system controller, which is capable of processing parallel sequence, on the basis of analysis of control specification described by Petri Net with incidence matrix. The sequential system controller consists of input conditioning unit and petri net control unit which is composed of the token control unit and firing unit. The firing unit determines the firing condition of the transfer signal on the basis of the token status of token control unit. By the proposed scheme, we can easily develop and implement the sequential system controller of automated warehousing system, automated transportation system, elevator system, and so on, as it is possible to modify control specification by changing simply the content of incidence matrix ROM and to expand easily functional capacity as the result of modular design.design.

  • Since a chilled beam system can reduce the conveyance energy for air conditioning and has many advantages in terms of constructability and indoor environment, its supply has been rapidly expanding mainly in Europe. For this chilled beam system to be effectively available in Korea, a product suitable for the domestic climatic environment and HVAC system operating conditions needs to be developed. Also, domestic products need to have an edge in cost competitiveness compared to overseas products. In this study, the induction structure of a chilled beam is deduced and an analysis on the induction performance is carried out while the chilled beam system that meets domestic situations is in the process of development.

  • With the development of modern technology, the use of unmanned automation equipment that can replace humans in logistics and industrial sites is increasing. The technology of one such automation facility, the Unmanned Carrier (AGV), includes Line Tracing, which allows you to recognize a line through infrared sensors and drive a predetermined route. In this paper, the shortest time algorithm using Arduino is configured in the line tracing technology to enable efficient driving. It is also designed to collect location and time information using RFID tags.
