  • Abusive supervision occurs in a social context in which third-party observers react and interact with the abused victims and supervisors. Despite the importance of third-party observers' behavior in abusive supervision, research on abusive supervision has mainly focused on the dyadic relationship between direct victims and supervisors. Although in recent years research on third parties' reactions to peer abusive supervision has attracted growing attention, there are still insufficient studies examining the topic especially within domestic research in Korea. As such, this study comprehensively reviews empirical studies on third parties' reactions to peer abusive supervision and aims to broaden the scope of research in the field. Firstly, the results of previous studies show that the effects of observed peer abusive supervision are mediated by cognitive and affective processes. Secondly, previous studies are found to investigate the boundary conditions where the effects of observed peer abusive supervision can be amplified or mitigated with regard to various outcomes. Overall, compared to research on direct victims, research on third-party observers of abusive supervision is found to capture a wider spectrum of responses. In order to explain the mechanisms of this phenomena, this study thoroughly examines theoretical assumptions presented in previous studies and categorizes them into five theory types. Finally, this study identifies a couple of central methodological issues, including common method bias and inadequate model specification in the literature and suggests future research directions.

  • Recently Korea is expected with the decrease of population in working ages and also population structure, especially age structure, has changed as aging goes faster. This study focuses on the relationship between age structure and wage structure to analyzes the cohort size effect on the change of age-earnings profile. Our empirical analysis based on Wright(1991)'s model takes weighted OLS regression using the male worker's data of Ministry of Labor 'Wage Structure Survey'($1990{\sim}2006$). In pooled data, we take the conclusion that the cohort size effect was found in high school and college graduate workers, but the effect is different between them. The labor market entry effect of high school graduate workers is negative(-) and his persistent effect is positive(+). On the other hand, the cohort size effect of college graduate workers have appeared the opposite directions in contrary with the existing results of Welch(1979) and Wright(1991). This results are seen as the possibility that college graduate worker has the benefit of wage level by his relative cohort size in spite of high unemployment of young graduate. It will be the sign of need that we should interest in the change of age structure with balancing the labor supply side approach and the demand side study which the previous studies was mainly tended to focus on.

  • Many learners are encountering e-Learning contents with smart devices and contents provides are carefully observing learners' reuse intention and behavior. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of e-Learning content platform characteristics on reuse intention for 200 users with smartphone-based e-Learning experience. The results show that the characteristics affecting reuse intention are content quality, interactivity, and ubiquity. Moreover, for men, only interactivity affects reuse intention, and for women, ubiquity and content quality affect reuse intention. When using smartphone-based e-Learning for less than an hour a day, only content quality affects reuse intention. On the contrary, ubiquity, convenience, and interactivity influence reuse intention when learning for more than one hour. Our results suggest meaningful implications that how e-Learning companies change their smartphone-based platform business strategy and how they utilize its key factors.

  • In this study, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane with excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance was prepared and characterized for the application of water treatment. Dibutyl-phthalate (DBP) was used as a diluent for making a membranes through temperature induced phase separation (TIPS) method, and the crystallization temperature, melting point, cloud point and SEM image were observed with different ratio of diluent in polymer/diluent mixture. The crystallization temperature and melting point increased proportionally with the content of polymer, while the cloud point temperature decreased. Finally, it was confirmed that stable membrane could be manufactured at a polymer content of 62 wt% and a temperature $125^{\circ}C$ using the phase diagram of PVDF/DBP mixtures with temperatures.

  • The purpose of this study is to devise the overall problems (such as, rights and obligations between users, owners, managers regarding commercial rental buildings, benefit/benefit in return, and the relevant regulations and systems) of the building maintenance system through field surveys, expert interviews, and literature reviews. In this rapidly changing society, there are a huge amount of needs for various reforms which can meet the diversity in each area, so it is greatly important to choose priority for the best improvement for efficient and economic expenses due to limited time, human resources and budgets. In this regard, the study extracted the evaluation elements from the devised problems with the viewpoint of BSC, calculated the weights through application of AHP to the extracted evaluation elements, evaluated the difference between before/after application of weights, and set the status, which makes it possible to realize the effective solutions and the reasonable expenses for all parties. By doing so, it is expected that the building maintenance system which maximizes the value and guarantees the user's convenience with smart functions of the building, will be realized in the near future.

  • This paper describes three-dimensional (3-D) standard curves for conductive dipping buried bodies in induced polarization (IP) method. Dipole-dipole IP responses for the dipping bodies are calculated by the numerical modeling technique using an integral equation solution. Dip angles of the bodies are 0, 20, 45, 70 and 90 degrees, respectively. The horizontal (0-degree dip) and vertical (90-degree dip) bodies produce symmetrical patterns of IP responses. The dipping bodies of 20, 45 and 70 degrees, however, produce asymmertical patterns, with the highest IP contours dipping in the direction opposite to the bodies in pseudo-sections. The most remarkable asymmetrical pattern appears in the model of 20-degree dip. It is difficult to distinguish the body of 70-degree dip from that of 90-degree dip on the basis of dipole-dipole IP data. The IP pattern in pseudo-sections varies when the line moves away from the center of the body along strike, with the anomaly deeper and smaller in amplitude. IP maps seem to be more useful than IP pseudo-sections in predicting the location of target.

  • The current study explores how media modality and message frame interact to form individuals' affective risk perception and behavioral intention. Specifically, participants were exposed to positive and negative messages on irradiated foods in text, audio, and audio/video formats and their affective risk perception and purchase intention were measured. Results indicate that individuals' affective risk perception and purchase intention were influenced by media modality and message frame. The significant interaction effects between the two variables were also observed. The results indicate that the appropriate media modality should be carefully selected based on the message content for effective risk communication.

  • Previous research on two-sided markets has, for the most part, concentrated on indirect network externalities between buyers and sellers. This paper considers direct competition effect among sellers and among buyers as well as indirect network externalities. We develop an analytic model of C2C e-marketplaces and examine whether a monopolistic incumbent could successfully deter new entry into its market. We find that the effect of the number of sellers or buyers on the price of goods depends on whether sellers have decided to sell the goods using an auction or fixed pricing rule and on the characteristics of the goods. We argue that when the effect of the number of sellers on the price of goods is significantly larger than that of buyers, there is a high possibility of entry. In particular, we show that entry becomes more difficult to deter as fixed-price format is adopted more frequently or the proportion of collectables is relatively low.

  • In the virtual space in which human imagination exists, a great deal of games and animation contents have been developed and shown. Games and animations are performing a role as an unrealistic representative, and creating abundant virtual culture with variety of human life. A representative, that is, a main character is being completed with external design, unique personality and ability, and action in the story. This study is expecting that a game character might develop into motion acting for emotional situation from the simple action. As giving a game character a role as a medium to express various circumstances and emotions, choosing motions from a pantomimist and applying them to 3D character, and expressed according to the motion acting. Motion acting is extended from the basic motion into the emotional phases such as joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure. The motion acting expressed from various viewpoints is suggested, as communicating clear message through emotional acting contrary to the symbolic language.
