문화체육관광부(장관 최광식) 산하 대한민국역사박물관(관장 김왕식)이 지난해 12월 26일 개관했다. 대한민국역사박물관은 19세기 말 개항기부터 오늘날에 이르는 대한민국의 역사를 종합적 체계적으로 보여주는 국내 최초의 국립 근현대사박물관이다.

Modernism is understood as a process of differentiation. Postmodernism or postmodernity, by contrast, involves de-differentiation. Recently, most museums have many social function, a central defining feature is its 'inscapes', or the spaces, architecture, material objects, texts, and meanings of exhibitions. Aims of this paper is to examine the processes and characteristics of differentiation and de-differentiation of the korean museums in historical development. The processes of differentiation and de-differentiation of the korean museums are divided into three phases: a establish stage of modem museum(l945$\sim$1974), a establish stage of postmodern museum(1975$\sim$1989), a diffusion stage of postmodern museum(1990$\sim$2003).

This paper is about multimodal storytelling experience applying Virtual Reality technology in museum. Specifically, this research argues virtual reality in both intuitive understanding of history also multimodal experience in the space. This research investigates cases regarding use of virtual reality in museum sector. As a research method, this paper conducts a literature review regarding multimodal experience and examples applying virtual reality related technologies in museum. Based on the literature review to investigate the concept necessary with its related cases. Based on the investigation, this paper suggests constructing elements for multimodal storytelling based on VR. Ultimately, this paper suggests the elements of building VR storytelling where dynamic audio-visual and interaction mode combines with historical resources for diverse audiences.

다양한 변화를 겪고 있는 박물관에서는 관람객에게 적극적인 체험의 기회를 주고, 이를 통해 관람객과 전시물간의 상호작용에 초점을 맞추고자 노력하고 있다. 특히 역사박물관에서 디오라마전시방법은 한 가지 유물이나 사건에 관한 스토리텔링을 가장 효율적으로 적용할 수 있는 전시방법이다. 그러나 역사박물관의 디오라마전시는 대부분 축소모형을 통해 이루어지며, 스토리의 기 승 전 결의 구분이 명확하지 않다. 이는 관람객의 적극적인 체험을 이끌어 내는데 한계를 가진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 관람객의 주인공화, 배경의 다양화라는 전시 결과를 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this essay is to survey the present situation of christian museums and to suggest future direction on the basis of the former result. Firstly, I arranged the present situation of protestant museums as a basic work to secure the importance of religious museums. And I will continue researches about catholic, buddhist, folk museums etc. A christian museum is important in that it is a storehouse of precious data accumulated in the history of modern Korea. However, interest in its value has not been given sufficiently so far despite its importance. Most christian museums are petty in their scale and management. When we consider the historical weight of christian history in the modern Korea, the status of christian museums have to be improved from now on. I classified the types of christian museums in Korea into christian history museum, christian art museum, biblical archeology museum, local churches' history museum, christian figures museum(memorials of famous christians), and mission school(colleges) museums on the basis of contents they possess. It can be said that the representative types among these are christian history museum and biblical archeology museum.
