  • In this writing, issued beauty as Hyangga(향가) creative motivation into the focus, its expression modality is discussed and then an aesthetic sense of Sil-la is considered.   • This study purports to empirically examine the potential effect of the level of social trust on their welfare consciousness level. Although previous studies in the field have focused on socio-economic or class-oriented variables, the accumulated results have shown that the effects were inconsistent at best in Korean context. In order to overcome the limits of theoretical assumptions from mainstream Marxists and institutionalists, this study suggests the relative autonomy of social consciousness and its independent effect on welfare consciousness. The analysis shows that both foundational variables, income levels and labor market participation, and the level of social trust have significant impacts upon the respondents' level of welfare consciousness.

  • This is a first and basic study for making Busan port more attractive. The study is intended to clear up the situation and problems of landscape of Busan port area from the viewpoint of landscape experts, citizen and visitors. To reach the goal an attitude comparative study has been conducted using a same questionnaire between landscape experts working in Busan city, Busan citizen and visitors to Busan port area. In questionnaire, firstly the situation of the whole landscape of Busan port area has been asked. The contents of questions on the situation of port landscape are satisfaction about port landscape, harmony between cityscape and portscape, images of portscape, effects of 25 portscape elements on portscape, problems of portscape, and ways of improving portscape. Secondly, each respondent has given answers freely on how to make Busan port area more attractive. As a result of this study there are several important differences of attitudes towards Busan portscape between experts, citizen and visitors. Especially there are some distinctive differences between attitudes of experts and citizen but the attitudes of citizen are similar to those of visitors. At the end of the study some proposals for making an improvement of Busan port landscape have been suggested on the basis of the results of this attitude comparative study.

  • 본 연구는 교통사고의 발생원인에 대한 인식유형과 감소대책에 대한 인지 유형별 영향요인의 정도를 분석하기 위하여 수량화이론 II류와 CHAID 분석법을 이용하여 분류모델과 판별모델을 구축하였다. 수량화이론 II류에 의한 교통사고 발생원인에 대한 인식 유형별 영향요인 판별모델은 전체 적중률이 78.4%로 매우 높게 나타났다. 편상관계수는 설명변수의 항목 중 학력, 성별, 운전경력 년 수, 소유 차종의 순으로 영향을 미치고 외적 변수인 교통사고 발생원인에 대한 유형에서는 기여 정도가 교통단속 부재 > 교통체계 미비 > 승용차 과다 사용 >잘못된 의식 때문의 순으로 나타났다. 교통사고 감소 대책에 대한 인지유형별 영향요인 판별모델은 전체 적중률이 59.9%로 높게 나타났으며, 편상관 계수는 학력, 성별, 운전경력 연수, 연령의 순으로 영향을 미치고 있고, 외적 변수인 교통사고 감소 대책에 대한 유형에서는 기여 정도가 교통단속 강화 > 대중교통수단 이용 유도 > 교통체계 개선 > 의식 개혁의 순으로 나타났다. 또한 CHAID 분석법에 의한 교통사고 발생원인에 대한 인식 유형별 영향요인 분류모델에 있어서는 예측변수로 학력, 연령, 성별, 통행수단의 네 가지 변수가, 교통사고의 감소 대책에 대한인지 유형별 영향요인 분류모델에 있어서는 학력, 운전경력 연수, 성별 그리고 통행수단의 네 가지 변수가 카이제곱 통계량 이 5%의 유의수준에서 유의한 것으로 판단되었다. 교통사고 발생원인 인식과 감소 대책의 인지 유형에 대한 빈도분석과 교차분석은 의식과 관련한 유형이 가장 높게 나타났으나 판별.분류모델에서는 교통단속과 관련한 유형이 기여 정도가 높고 의식 관련 유형이 상대적으로 낮게 나타나는 등 반대양상을 보이고 있어 심리적으로 내재되어 있고 표면에 잘 드러나지 않았던 의식 수준의 낮음이 분류모델을 통해서 명확하게 드러났다.

  • This study apprehends the effect of primary causes that form civic consciousness, which mature local residents should have. Moreover, it tries to contribute to the development of mature civic consciousness with regard to the situations and conditions of local community, by observing how the extent of local problem recognition, personal viewpoints, and participation in social activities affect formation of civic consciousness. The research was conducted to 600 local residents, ages 20 and above, with proportional stratified sampling method. The study showed that high recognition of environmental, social, economic and aging issues, fulfillment on social achievement, self-perception, culture orientation, and higher frequency on participating on social activities have positive effects on formation of sound civic consciousness.

  • The study aimed to research the impact of ethical leadership on the psychological ownership and organizational commitment of employees in deluxe hotels located in Seoul. It also tried to determine the mediating effect that the employees' psychological ownership has contributed to the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational commitment in hotel firms. For the purpose of empirical testing, 300 respondents from deluxe hotels were surveyed and the hypothesis was tested through regression analysis. The results of this study are, that ethical leadership affects organizational commitment and employees' psychological ownership has a mediating effect between ethical leadership and organizational commitment. The results of this study suggests building management systems that recognize the importance of ethical leadership and psychological ownership by employees for competitive advantages.

The Changing Advertising Campaigns of Jeans Ads in 1990's (1990년대 Jean 광과의 변화 - 광고유형과 jean의 미의식을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the jeans advertising campaigns of the 1990's in South Korean magazine advertisements and their relation to the beauty trends of the 1990's in South Korea. There are three significant and varying periods in the 1990's. Each period will be dissected into four categories. The four categories are 1. Catchphrases 2. Pose selection of the models 3. Selection of models 4. Overall images and themes of the ads. The results are as follows : 1. 1990∼1993 ; Youth & Freedom From 1990 to 1993, jean ads emphasized the catchphrsase and the dynamic pose more and used the Korean model. The ads displayed youthful energy and the freedom of the younger generation. 2. 1994∼1997 ; Sex Appeal From 1994 to 1997, the second transition in jeans advertisements focus shifted from the youthful images of the early 90's to more sexually oriented ads. In terms of model selections and pose, Caucasian models instead of Korean models, and static pose were used more. The ads emphasized the image more than the catchphrase. 3. 1998∼1999 ; Diversity of Individuality & Naturalism During 1998 to the present day, the jeans ads no longer focused on groups but the diversity of individuality. The other focus of ads was the naturalism and the harmony with the nature. Both the static and dynamic pose, Korean model, and the image ads were used.

  • This study researched TV makeup types with a focus on Korean aesthetics. First, natural beauty is expressed with a random form that excluded artificial techniques or decorations often shown in the form of incompletion and space through TV entertainment programs. Incompletion is what excludes artificial technique and denies the whole completion in expressing a face, it shows the intentional incompletion that leaves it as a bare face that has no type, no color, and no decoration. A pursuit for purity, as nature leads to realizing the internal world of concentrating on the essence of object. Space is what makes it empty without filling, it offers a mental space in the inner side so that diverse images can be imagined beyond external form. This trend is indicated similarly to the tendency that the recent global interest in naturalism yearns for purity in nature and wellbeing. The presentation of skin (preferably healthy looking skin) is given attention; consequently, the similarity was being shown between the TV makeup that focuses on expressing skin and recent trends.

  • This study researches previous aesthetic categories and organizes new one which is applied to fashion design. With the frame of the new aesthetic category, a survey about aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic enjoyment are conducted. Also, this study discusses about the variety of the aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic enjoyment which are arisen from peculiarity of fashion and the necessity of the systemized criticizing theory. Through the survey of aesthetic consciousness about fashion designer's clothes, there are possibilities of varieties in visions and critics about fashion works. But it is necessary to read in right way about kunstwollen and symbolic meaning of designer. In order to read aesthetic consciousness inside of a fashion designer's works properly, the interpretation method which follows in systematized phases such as iconology and semiology is necessary. Contemplation for the 'clothes' which is a part of an art Is not just simply see the object and judge subjectively but examine the factors which have influenced to the formation, kunstwollen, and symbolic meaning. Also, the process and the attitude which enjoy the aesthetic value have to be analyzed and criticized which based on systemized interpretation frame. The 'Clothes' is one artistic object which expresses kunstwollen of fashion designer and he or she puts in a sentiment and an ideology into the clothes and which reflects the present society and effects to the descendant.
