This paper studies how the nature of educational programs run by public art museums in South Korea have been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to what extent the pandemic has caused operational problems for these museums. It, in effect, unveils the new museum culture of the COVID-19 era. It finds that the number of educational programs at the eight museums in Korea selected for this study has decreased 34% since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of online educational programs, educational brochures and art kits at six of the museums has also increased by 70% compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, 'untact' programs thought up and created by artists have been gradually developing at certain art museums in South Korea, while VR/AR educational programs have been developing at museums in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. As such, this study reveals the changing characteristics of museum educational programs and the new museum educational culture in the COVID-19 era with the hope of opening up discussion about the future direction these programs will take.

This study analyzed the cultural competency and demand for a multicultural education program among nursing college students. The participants were 278 college students gathered through convenience sample method. Data were collected from November, 19 to 30, 2012 and analyzed using SPSS/PC Win 12.0 program. The major findings were as follows, First, the mean scores of cultural competency and demand for a multicultural education program were 2.8 and 3.9. respectively. Second, cultural competency scores of students varied with multicultural educational course experience. Third, demand for a multicultural education program varied in accordance with student's views of the necessity of multicultural education. Our results suggest that, courses focusing on understanding multicultural clients are needed and highly desired by nursing students.

The purpose of this study is to develop the public library programs that support the needs of multicultural families by examining the details of their information needs, focusing on the children's education issues of multicultural families. For this purpose, the data on experiences and needs related to the education of multicultural families' children were collected through in-depth interviews with married immigrant women. The study found the following six types of children's education-related needs of multicultural families: 1) Lack of understanding about the educational system and situation of Korean schools, 2) Their children's needs for language and learning 3) Their children's Bilingual education 4) Educational information for the role of parents, 5) Prejudice and discrimination against their children at school 6) Supporting library awareness and experience of mulitcultural families. Based on these needs, the following programs were suggested: 1) Parent role program for children's education, 2) Children's learning program, 3) Children's language education program, 4) Multicultural understanding education, 5) Library user education and guidance.

This study examines the process of developing and managing parent participation education programs, its performance, and its factor of deriving performance targeted on multi-cultural parents with children in early elementary school. Particularly, opinions of multi-cultural parents were considered and every process of developing and managing the program in this study was reflected. The analysed results were largely divided into three upper categories, which were 'growing as parents', 'forming new multi-culturalism', 'creating support system', and eight sub-categories. In addition, the factors that led to the positive achievement of program were appeared as 'development of active education program', 'organization and operation of parent inclusive program', 'utilization of flexible group structure', 'implementation of close interaction and communication between the members of the development team and the management team'. Based on the following results, we propose development and management process for effective multi-cultural parent education program.

한국 사회는 빠르게 다문화 사회로 진입되고 있어 인구 구성과 집단이 다양해 질것으로 전망하고 있다. 다양한 형태의 가족 중 중도입국 청소년들의 비율이 점점 증가하고 있다. 대부분의 중도입국 청소년들은 준비가 전혀 이루어진 않은 상태에서 우리나라에 입국하는 실정이므로 언어장벽에서 진로장벽에 이르기 까지 매우 취약한 여건과 불안정한 환경에 처해 있는 것이다. 이를 해결하는 방안으로 국가나 지방자치단체는 물론 각급 교육기관에서 다양한 프로그램으로 서비스가 지원되고 있으나 사업 간의 중복성과 일부 비효율적인 전달체계와 운영, 예산과 인력 낭비로 인하여 효과성을 낮추는 경향이 있다. 본 논문에서는 중도입국 청소년들의 발달주기, 학령주기, 한국어 구사 능력에 따라 개인의 능력에 따른 맞춤형 언어교육으로 올바르게 성장하도록 도움을 주는 방안을 제시한다. 제시한 내용은 이중언어 교육방법과 발도르프 교육 프로그램을 준용한 교수-학습 방안이다.

This study aimed at developing an educational program for South Korean adolescents on North Korean family living culture so that the students become familiar with the values and everyday lifestyles of North Korea. Understanding of North Korean culture is considered important as a foundation for social integration in prospect of future reunification. The contents of the program were developed based on the analysis of North Korean defectors' interviews and review of the literature and media reports on North Korean family culture. The program consists of 12 units of 40-minute sessions with the following topics: economy and consumption, leisure activities, family relationships, dating and spouse choices, fashion changes, clothing acquisition and care, food choices and local diets, dietary problems, housing, and neighborhood. The program was implemented between December 21 and 30, 2015 in a middle school located in Seoul. This program is expected to be useful in preparing the students as future leaders to create harmonious family living culture in the reunified Korea.

In this study, the announced in 2010 was used to identify the flow of social value expansion on the culture and art education and to provide the future direction. In the context of culture and art education, cultural diversity is an important agenda, and thus the case of cultural diversity program by the National Museum of Contemporary Art was analyzed to discuss the social role of culture and art education. To summarize the findings, it is a program of promoting understanding on the diversity of art in the same period and various identifies of the members of our society through the exhibition of «Artist of the Year», and it is a program on cultural diversity of understanding the diversity and identity of various members in our society through the contemporary artwork. Through theme-based approach, education on cultural diversity and cooperative learning were applied to develop the sense of community. Based on the core values of education on cultural diversity, the contents of the education program on performed total of 80 times on 14 programs in 2017-2019 were analyzed. As a result, the analysis showed 9 core values, and the core values of education on cultural diversity derived through the content analysis of the education program on were ① Engagement, ② Conversation, ③ Citizenship, ④ Coexistence, ⑤ Human Rights, ⑥ Difference, ⑦ Equality, ⑧ Cooperation, ⑨ Solidarity. As the space enhancing the cultural engagement, the art museum is a place for realizing the value on cultural diversity, so it has significance as the space that embraces both cultural diversity and culture and art education. In this sense, it was identified that the discussion on the cultural diversity and culture and art education was being expanded into the perspective of various groups and communities in our society through the core values of engagement, conversation, citizenship, coexistence, human rights, difference, equality, cooperation, solidarity and direction, which were provided by the analysis of the contents on the art museum education program on cultural diversity in the National Museum of Contemporary Art.

With the cultural and educational functions of public libraries becoming revitalized according to social changes, there has been a development of reading cultural programs. This study researched the operating conditions of reading culture programs for elementary school students in public libraries in Suwon City for the past 5 years and presented the programs' drawbacks and improvement plans drawn from surveys on user satisfaction. An analysis of the survey results yielded the following suggestions for improvement: forming a consultative group with other managers of reading culture programs in Suwon's public libraries, promoting using various media, forming a human resource pool to hire professional instructors, operating of the educational programs for potential volunteers, expanding of the facilities for reading culture programs, and linking with the other folk culture and art organizations in order to develop classes folk culture and art organizations. The results of this paper will be used as a reference when operating conditions of reading culture programs for elementary school students in public libraries in Suwon City, and they will offer the opportunity to implement problems according to needs of participants.

The purpose of this study is to develop education programs for effective education of Jeong-gan-bo. Jeong-gan-bo is a unique piece of music made during King Sejong's reign. Starting in the third grade elementary school, Jeong-gan-bo begins to develop. If you fail to understand Jeongganbo in lower grades, you often give up scores of music in a more detailed and complicated manner. This is why we need a customized education program for the first time in lower grades. For this purpose, the basic process of understanding the Jeongganbo is understood to be played as a traditional play. This study consists of the elementary school the 3rd grade scenario. This study consists of the second - grade class scenarios for the 3rd grade elementary school students, the curriculum is centered on the curriculum, which is currently in the 3rd grade curriculum, curriculum in 2009. The program learns to play the rhythm of the 1st phase, the code of the 2nd stage of Jeong-dan, and play the rhythm through play through play. Step 1 is not only visually recognizable, but also a direct sign of the code. The second phase consists of the basic composition of Jeongganbo, through the basic composition of Jangdan, and learns the exact rhythm of Jeongganbo. The results of the study can be divided into meaningful meaning in terms of educational significance and educational content development in terms of educational significance. The methods used to understand the exercises and play games were effective in understanding the contents of Jeongganbo, and also meaningful to the role of traditional music in the context of various programs.
