  • Miniaturization of equipments which have wireless network function and sensor have changed utilization method of computer in daily life, and have contributed to development for ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we design camera control system based wireless mobile and web-environmental through which nurse, doctor and family of patient can share and observe the information on condition of patient in hospital. Besides, this camera control system makes it possible to integrate diverse equipments of hospital into one system, and to conduct remote control function which can be applied to the patient control system. It is impossible to control shooting direction of camera apparatus in a remote area for observing patient in a hospital room through general web camera. So in this paper, we showed new design; we attached step motor which can rotate 360 degrees to web camera, and the step motor can operate through control board. Besides, we developed application for two environments, mobile and web-based environment, which enables us to offer proper efficiency in accordance with condition of observer through observation of control and collected image data.

  • Present communication and network environment have been moving rapidly toward wireless and mobile base from existing wired internet base. This change of trend influences greatly on business methods accordingly. Therefore many enterprises are trying hard to adopt mobile business in order to gain competitive edge of their products and they are in need of more effective and stable mobile solutions. However, the method of establishing optimal mobile computing environment and how to handle existing business process and use vast amount of database are still needed. Therefore this paper tries to realize a mobile middleware system as a mobile business establishment supporting tool that could link various computational resource on wired internet with wireless LAN, mobile phone network, and mobile devices. To accomplish that specific goal, this paper provides a powerful tool of mobile and wireless application data access that could expand the line of business already set up in general enterprises easily and rapidly into mobile environment. When this suggested solution is applied in the field of industry, it can economically change legacy business process into mobile environment without having to change existing logic and resources at all.

  • Void areas(holes) as an inevitable phenomenon exist in geographic routing of wireless sensor networks, because the unpredictable and harsh nature application environment or uneven energy consumption. Most of the existing schemes for the issue tend to construct a static detour path to bypass a hole. The static detour path may lead to uneven energy consumption of the nodes on the perimeter of the hole; thus it may enlarge the hole. At the same time, traffic would concentrate on the peripheral node of the hole; thus the nodes on the perimeter of the hole tend to be depleted quietly. In previous work, we have proposed a hole geometric model to reduce the energy consumption and packet collisions of the nodes on the hole boundary. This scheme, however, still has the static detour path problem. Therefore, we extend the previous work by constructing a dynamic detour path hole geometric model for wireless sensor networks in this paper. The location of hole detour anchors is dynamically shifted according to Gaussian function, just generating dynamic hole detour paths.

  • Communication in wireless sensor networks comprising a plurality of sensor nodes located in an ad hoc environment is unidirectional in that data gathered by sensor nodes are transmitted to a sink node and not vice versa. In those networks, it is not possible for a server or a gateway to send commands to the sensor nodes to determine whether some previously received data are valid when the data indicate unusual conditions, which makes it difficult to make appropriate reactions to the unusual situations. This paper proposes and implements a TDMA-based sensor network communication protocol named BiWSLP(Bidirectional Wireless Sensor Line Protocol) supporting bidirectional communication capability. The BiWSLP is an extension of the WSLP, a unidirectional sensor network communication protocol based on the TDMA protocol. To test the feasibility of the proposed BiWSLP, we construct a virtual bridge management system capable of sending commands to sensor nodes as well as collecting data from the sensor nodes. Based on the test results of the virtual bridge management system, we show the applicability and advantages of the BiWSLP in terms of energy efficiency and bidirectional communication capability.

  • Many dissemination protocols on the mobility support in wireless sensor networks have been designed based on the assumption that the movement trace of sinks, such as soldiers and fire fighters, is random. However, the mobility of the sinks in many applications, for example, the movement trace of a soldier on operation in a battle field, can be determined in advance. In this paper, we propose a Predictable Mobility-based Data Dissemination protocol that enables data to directly route from source nodes to moving sinks by taking into consideration predictable movement behavior of the sinks. We also show the superiority of the predictable mobility-based data dissemination protocol through the performance comparison with the random mobility-based data dissemination protocols.

  • Data dissemination schemes for wireless sensor networks, where sinks and event targets might be mobile, has been one of the active research fields. For doing that, stationary nodes gathered data on behalf of mobile sinks and the relayed data in previous studies. their schemes, however, lead to frequent query flooding and report congestion problems over sink moving. We propose a data dissemination protocol to solve both the query flooding and the report congestion problem. Our scheme improves the two shortcomings through sink location management. Finally, we prove effectiveness of our protocol through computer simulations.

  • In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview and classification on a wide range of the existing location management schemes which have been reported for wireless cellular networks and Mobile IP-based networks, respectively. In addition, from the various previous literature, we derive common key conceptual techniques, their main design goals and performance considerations on them, which can provide a useful guidance for understanding location management schemes regardless of network types. The aim of this paper is not to propose a new scheme for location management, but to highlight the various key design features involved in the design of the existing location management schemes, and to enhance an insight into the fundamental principles and techniques for designing more efficient and optimized location management scheme in future wireless mobile networks. We expect that regardless of network types, these underlying fundamental principles and conceptual techniques could be also easily tailored for more efficient mobility/QoS support in future mobile computing environments.

  • Sensor network configurations are for a specific situation or environment sensors capable of sensing, processing the collected information processors, and as a device is transmitting or receiving data. It is presently serious that sensor networks provide many benefits, but can not solve the wireless network security vulnerabilities, the risk of exposure to a variety of state information. u-Healthcare sensor networks, the smaller the sensor node power consumption, and computing power, memory, etc. restrictions imposing, wireless sensing through the kind of features that deliver value, so it ispossible that eavesdropping, denial of service, attack, routing path. In this paper, with a focus on sensing of the environment u-Healthcare system wireless security vulnerabilities factors u-Healthcare security framework to diagnose and design methods are presented. Sensor network technologies take measures for security vulnerabilities, but without the development of technology, if technology is not being utilized properly it will be an element of threat. Studies suggest that the u-Healthcare System in a variety of security risks measures user protection in the field of health information will be used as an important guide.

  • Radiation is used in various field, including medical science, engineering science, agricultural science and other industrial fields and the use frequency of radiation is increasing thanks to the development of radiation technology. Although radiation contributes to the mankind so much, we must pay attention to radiation damage by its influence on human body. To use radiation properly and prevent the radiation damage, it is necessary to measure radiation exactly and to practice thorough research and education on the basis of this measurement. In this study, I suggest the method to measure radiation wirelessly without the limit of time and space, not approaching radiation having a harmful effect on human body by using ubiquitous computing technology. For the realization of suggested method, the wireless transmission technology of CDMA network is used and after installing embedded system in PDA, the measurement value is displayed through accessing CDMA network with PDA in radiation measurement system of having fixed IP. If we use the proposed method of this study, we don't have to approach radiation that is harmful to the human and can read the measurement value that is marked in PDA through CDMA network by radiation measurement system of having fixed IP.
