This study investigated the factors that influence subjective well-being of immigrant wives in Korea. We initially grouped the factors into 3 categories: personal, domestic, and social. For personal factors, we included couple's age difference, reason for entry, religion, marital duration, employment status, economical status, acculturation to Korean culture, acquisition of Korean language, and ego-resiliency. For domestic factors we included marriage process, reason for marriage, husbands' understanding of wife's native language, husbands' understanding of wife's culture, marital satisfaction, existence of children, head of the household, and parenting efficacy. Finally for social factors, awareness of welfare services and systems, use of public institutions and civil organizations, and participation in social groups were included. We recruited 256 immigrant wives who live in Asan City, Chungnam Province and the data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The factors that statistically significant were: ego-resiliency, marital duration, acculturation to Korean culture and economic status among personal factors; parenting efficacy, marital satisfaction and marriage process (married without a matchmaker) among domestic factors; participation in self-help group of women from the same mother country, awareness of welfare services and systems, participation in hobby club, and participation in fraternal/religious society among social factors. It is hoped that this paper will yield general insights into subjective well-being of immigrant wives and may help them to develop inner talent and strength.

The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of psychotic patient after applying anger management video and tea gathering program to psychotic patient. This study was an experimental research and used nonequivalent control-group pretest-posttest design. Study subjects were 16 patients for an experimental group and 16 for a control group-32 in total- who were psychotic patients hospitalized in a closed ward in H mental hospital. The measurement variable is an aggressiveness scale, and the effect of the program was measured once after the video program and once after eight tea gathering. Data Analysis methods were real number and percentage, average and standard deviation, χ² test, t-test, paired t-test, and Repeated measure ANOVA. The aggression of an experiment group was significantly lower than the control group(F=14.38, p< .001). Aggressive sub-item, hostility (F=8.53, p< .001), anger (F=6.10, p=.004), verbal aggression(F=7.58, p< .001), physical aggression(F=13.92, p< .001) all of tte experiment group was significantly lower than control group. Based on these results, anger management programs can be used as basic data for anger control in psychotic patient or in various groups.

스마트폰, 태블릿 PC 등 모바일 기기의 급속한 보급 확대에 따라 모바일 앱 마켓 또한 급속도로 성장하고 있다. 현재, 다양한 종류의 앱들이 모바일 마켓을 통해 유통되고 있으며 그 중 생산성 증대와 관련된 일정관리, 노트, 문서 파일 뷰어 등은 다운로드 순위에서 항상 상위를 차지하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 일정관리를 위한 시간표 기능과 스마트 폰의 무음 처리 기능을 한데 결합하여 회의나 중요한 모임시 상황에 따른 적합한 수준의 스마트폰 작동 제한을 통해 생산성 증대를 꾀하는 자동 사용제한 어플리케이션을 설계하고 구현하였다.

Since a construction project is a series of works that utilizes resources to accomplish the project goal for a given time period, efficient resource management is a prerequisite for the success of the project. Two major areas of resource management are resource constrained scheduling focusing on the limited resource availability and resource leveling focusing on smoothing resource usage pattern on the fixed project completion time. It is not available, however, to apply both techniques to a project at the same time. This paper proposes a model to enhance the minimum moment algorithm of resource leveling, aiming to find an efficient usage of resources and an appropriate project completion time. A survey is performed to evaluate the major five factors using the AHP.

Purpose : To evaluate the present status of bereavement care in Korean hospice service as a basic database for the effective bereavement care. Method : The data were collected two sets from September to October, 1999 and from November to December, 2000, 55 hospice institutions identified by the Hospice Education Institution, College of Nursing, Catholic University were contacted for a telephone survey. The researchers conducted telephone interviews with hospice administrators for 10 to 30 minutes. Result : 1) Among the 55 Korean Hospice institutions, 38 institutions(69.1%) provided bereavement services. 2) The contents of bereavement services consisted of telephone call 28 institutions(74.5%), bereaved family meeting 26 institutions(69.4%), home visiting 22 institutions(57.9%), mail 16 institutions(42.1%), personal counselling 7 institutions(18.4%). 3) The 26 hospice institutions(68.4%) which provided meetings for bereaved families met with the following frequency : Annually is 11 institutions(42.3%), biannually 6 institutions(23.1%), monthly 6 institutions(23.1%) and bimonthly 3 institutions(11.5%). 4) Only 4 hospice institutions(10.5%) used the assessment tool to screen for high risk of bereaved. 5) The major difficulties of current bereavement services were low attendance for the bereaved family meeting, shortage of professional managers and volunteers, limited accessibility to hospice institutions, little social awareness for the bereaved, and financial difficulties. 6) The hospice administrators expressed the need for the development of bereavement program, the education program for the bereavement services, trained professionals, the sufficient provision of human resource and financial support for more effective bereavement services. Conclusion : Although many hospice institutions(69.1%) provided bereavement services, they generally lacked capable bereavement professionals and various individualized bereavement services. In conclusion, it is required to develop the specified bereavement program and the training program for the staff and volunteers, so as to provide customized bereavement services based on individual needs. Further research will be necessary to evaluate the effects of customized bereavement services in Korea before applying to practice.

Objectives: As suicide among the elderly population has been a critical issue in Korea, this study aimed to evaluate correlations of suicidal ideation with protective and risk factors among elderly who reside in a rural community. Methods: A total of 157 elders from Gyeongju city, who had attended senior centers in, were enrolled to answer questionnaires including the Geriatric Depression Scale Short Form-Korea and the Scale for Suicidal Ideation. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0K for Windows, and included t-test, Pearson correlation, and a three-step hierarchical multiple regression analyses. Results: Using the hierarchical regression analyses for predicting the elderly's suicidal ideation, male gender and social group variables were entered as predictors in the first step(adjusted $R^2$=0.107, P<0.05). Pain, ADLs, family support variables were not entered in the second step. Depression variable was the only predictor in the third step(adjusted $R^2$=0.384, P<0.001). Conclusions: Although this study confirmed the impact of depression on the suicidal ideation, elderly with risk factors including male gender and social isolation should receive a special attention from community health care professionals.

The purpose of the this study was to provide objective evidence through a systematic review and meta-analysis regarding the effects of self-management in knee osteoarthritis. Articles published between 1999 and 2013 from periodicals indexed Ovid Medline, CINAHL, PubMed, RISS, KISS and other databases were selected, using the following key words: Osteoarthriti* OR OA, self-(management OR care OR help). A selection of 11 studies(7 randomized controlled trials and 4 quasi-experimental interventions that were used were exercise, education, massage and self-help group. As a result of mera-analysis, self-management significantly effected pain, physical function, activities of daily living, and self-efficacy. In particular, self-management showed great effect on ADL, and moderate effect on pain and physical function. Based upon these result, it is necessary to develop a standardized self-management program for knee osteoarthritis patients.

The concept of Baekdudaegan(Korean traditional and major mountain system) was conceived toward the close of Silla Kingdom and in the beginning of the Goryeo dynasty. The concept was brought up through the Goryeo dynasty and was completed in the Joseon dynasty. We have to recognize the next two facts to restore the Baekdudaegan concept these days. Firstly, Baekdudaegan is not the highest watershed line but a domain. Secondly, Baekdudaegan is not a set of ridges but a corporate body of a water system and a mountain system. When it comes to fix the management area of Baekdudaegan, it is necessary to make criteria on the basis of traditional ideas and to include natural characteristics considering physical environment. The management area of Baekdudaegan include the third order of stream with the conservation area including the first order of stream. The most important thing in the management strategy is to prevent the damage of configuration of the ground. Baekdudaegan is a symbol of Korea spirit. Therefore, to manage Baekdudaegan wisely is one of ways to lay down the stepping stone of our country's reunification.
