초고속 국가망에 적용되는 ACE2000 ATM 교환기는 기존의 ATM 서비스외에도 IP 기반의 인터넷트래픽을 처리하기 위해서 MPLS 기능을 탑재하게 된다 이러한 MPLS 기능을 ATM 교환기에 적용하기 위해서 기존의 ATM 정함 모듈과 동일한 토폴로지를 유지하면서 IP 패킷을 저리할 수 있는 MPLS 정합 모듈과 MPLS프로토콜을 포함한 다양한 제어기능을 수행하는 MPI_S 프로세서 모듈을 추가하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 MPLS 정합 모듈의 전제적인 데이터 저리 구조와 하드웨어 기반의 IP 포워딩/머징 엔진의 구성을 살펴보았다. 특히 IP 포워딩/머징 엔진은 하드웨어 기반의 고속 패킷 처리를 위해서 622Mbps ATM SAR칩과 하드웨어 기반 룩업/포워딩 엔진으로 구성되어 있으며. 4개의 IP 포워딩/머징 엔진을 통해서 2.5G 용량의 MPLS 정합 모듈이 구성된다. 각각의 IP 포워딩/머징 엔진은 622M 트래픽을 처리하며 본 논문에서는 포워딩 엔진의 ATM 인터페이스를 담당하는 622M ATM SAR칩을 중심으로 MPLS 정합 모듈의 전체적인 패킷 처리 구조와 메모리 구조 및 성능을 분석하였다.

This paper describes the development of a stereo matching algorithm for extracting Digital Elevation Model(DEM) from satellite images. This matching algorithm is based on a non-linear least squares correlation estimation but has improved matching speed. The algorithm consists of three steps: matching execution, matching control and matching optimization. Each is described. The performance of the presented algorithm is quantitatively analyzed with experiments on matching probability, matching speed and matching convergence radius.

In the ACE2000 MPLS system, MPLS Interface Module(MIM) is composed of an ATM Interface Module and a HFMA performing a packet forwarding. In the MIM, the HFMA RSAR receive cells from the Physical layer and reassemble the cells. And the IP Lookup controller perform a packet forwarding after packet classification. Forwarded packet is segmented into cells in the HFMA TSAR and transfer to the ALMA for the transmission to an ATM cell switch. When the MIM make use of an ATM Interface Module, it directly connect the ALMA with a PHY layer using the UTOPIA Level2 interface. Then, an ALMA performs Master Mode. Also, the HFMA TSAR performs the Master Mode in the MIM. Therefore, the UTOPIA-L2 Controller of the Slave Mode require for interfacing between an ALMA and a HFHA TSAR. In this paper, we implement the architecture and cell control mechanism for the UTOPIA-L2 Controller supporting Multi-ports.

New RF matcher module has been proposed in this paper for improvement of RF matcher in plasma etcher system using in semiconductor and display panel manufacturing process. New designed warm gear was used instead of bevel gear in new driving module, and control system was re-arranged with one-chip micro-process technique. The matching performance of new match module was improved in various process condition with reduction of backlash and matching time, and flexible motion of motor compared commercial match module. However this new type RF match module will improve the productivity in etching process of the mass production line.

This paper concerns the design of a matching module system enabling the RF signal to be harmonized between the new base stations (RRH) and the repeater in the same frequency band of the asynchronous transfer network. This matching system controls the RF Gain Control of the module while monitoring the quality of the quality. Additionally, the RF environment has been adapted accordingly to adjust the RF Gain Control to match the receiver characteristics of the relay. As a result of this study, we improved the quality of the interface between the new base stations and existing relays.

Interface modules design between image sensor and external components are designed by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) in this paper. Generally speaking, to satisfy synchronization for the poor quality data in image, SRAM is needed. To receive synchronization signal and image signal data with pixel dimension, the proposed interface logic technique is implemented. From the proposed technique, we can obtain more clear screen by implementing with pixel dimension. Operating frequency of image sensor and that of TFT-LCD are 50MHz and 6.5MHz, respectively. Most of control logic functions are embedded in FPGA. The designed logic gate counter has 33,216 and is designed by Quartus II.

본 논문에서는 600Hz 무선 LAN 시스템에 탑재를 위한 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 모듈을 개발 하였다. 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 모듈에 실장된 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 MMIC는 ETRI에서 설계 및 제작한 것으로 칩의 크기는 2.80 × 1.75㎟이며, on-wafer측정을 하여 얻은 결과는 동작 주파수 58~620Hz에서 소신호 이득은 12.4dB이고, 최대 소신호 이득은 59~60G보z에서 ISdB이며, 출력전력(Pldn)은 16.3~16.7dBm을 얻었다. 이와 같은 특성을 갖는 전력증폭기 MMIC를 사용하여 모듈을 제작하였으며, RF feed line을 위해 Rogers 사의 R03003 기판을 사용하였다. 모듈의 입출력은 동작 주파수 대역에 적합한 WRl5라는 waveguide 형태를 사용하였고, DC 바이어스 공급을 위해 3.5㎜ K-connector를 사용하였다 제작한 모듈의 크기는 40 × 30 × 15㎣이며, 최적의 성능을 얻고자 tuning bar를 상하로 이동하여 최적점을 찾았으며 나사로 고정하여 상태를 유지하도록 하였다. DC 바이어스 및 RF feed line과 칩의 연결은 본딩에 의한 인덕턴스를 최소화하기 위하여 3mil 두께의 리본 본딩을 하였다 전력증폭기 모듈을 측정한 결과, 동작주파수 600㎓ 대에서 소신호 이득은 6dB 이상, 입력 정합은 -lOdB 이하, 출력 정합은 -4dB 이하로 측정되었긴, 출력전력은 SdBm 이상으로 측정되었다. 동국대에서 제작한 600Hz 무선 LAN 시스템에 전력증폭기 모듈을 시스템 송신부에 탑재 시험한 결과, 동영상을 실시간으로 전송하는데 성공하였다.

본 논문은 한글 문서 영상의 단어 검색 시스템과 그 성능을 제시한다. 두 단계 검색 방법은 검색 속도 증가를 목적으로 하며, 첫 번째 단계에서는 매우 빠른 속도로 거친 정합을 통하여 후보 단어들을 추출한다. 두 번째 단계는 후보 단어들 중에서 미세한 정합을 통한 단어 검색이 이루어진다. 시스템은 문서 영상 구조 분석 모듈과 단어 검색 모듈로 구성된다. 실험 자료를 통해 시스템의 유용성을 입증한다.

ACE2000 MPLS 시스템은 국가 시스템으로 사용하기 위해 기 개발한 ACE2000 ATM 교환시스템에 Ships-in-the-night 모드 형태로 ATM 교환시스템에 MPLS 기능을 추가함으로써 사용자들에게 차별화된 서비스를 제공하도록 하는 시스템이다. MPLS 시스템 모듈인 MIM(MPLS Interface Module)은 1모듈이 2.5Gbps 의 대용량 패킷 포워딩 기능을 갖는 시스템으로서 BPAA, HALA, 가입자 정합 보드에 하드웨어 패킷 포워딩 및 VC 머징 기능을 갖는 HFMA 하드웨어 PBA 가 추가되어 모듈을 구성한다. ACE2000 MPLS 시스템에서는 MIM 모듈의 운용/보전을 위해 모듈내의 각 보드에 대하여 장애 발생시 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어적으로 MSC 에게 보고하도록 하고 있다. MIM 모듈에 대한 장애보고 체계는 하드웨어적으로는 각 보드의 탈/실장, 전원 장애, 기능장애 등을 경보계통을 통해서 보고하는 구조로 이루어져 있고, 소프트웨어적으로는 ATM IPC 채널을 이용한 경보체계를 이용하여 보고함으로써 시스템의 원활한 시스템 운용/보전에 활용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 ACE2000 MPLS 시스템의 장애경보(Fault Alarming) 방법 및 그 구조에 대하여 언급하였다.

본 글에서는 업무 종사자에게 실무에서 필요한 지식을 효과적으로 공급하기 위한 목적으로 지식을 실무의 관점에서 작은 모듈로 분해한 뒤 표준화하여 수요자에게 제공하는 체계인 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards: NCS)을 소개하였다. 파인세라믹 분야에 대해 개발된 NCS의 구성을 간략히 소개하였으며 활용될 수 있는 분야를 알아보았다. 또한 NCS에 대해 정합성을 갖춘 지식 제공 체계인 학습모듈의 구성을 소개하였다. 이와 같은 NCS 및 학습모듈의 활용을 통하여 지식의 수요와 공급에 대해서도 모듈화의 개념을 적용하고 필요한 지식이 효율적으로 유통되는 체계를 추구하였다.
