Forced Response Analyses of a Bladed Disk with Friction Dampers (마찰감쇠기가 있는 블레이드디스크의 강제진동해석)

  • To reduce the vibration levels, additional dissipation elements such as dry friction dampers are sometimes integrated into bladed disk assembly. In this study, forced response analysis systems for a tuned bladed disk with friction dampers were developed and verified. For the efficient nonlinear vibration analysis, multi-harmonic balanced method and cyclic boundary condition were used. Also, mode shapes obtained using fictitious mass method were used to describe the motion of the structures with the concentrated structural nonlinearity, friction damper. The relative convergence of fictitious mass and traditional unconstrained modes were compared.

Macro Model of DWFG MOSFET for Analog Application and Design of Operational Amplifier (아날로그 응용을 위한 DWFG MOSFET의 매크로 모델 및 연산증폭기 설계)

  • In this paper, a simple macro model of n-channel MOSFET with dual workfunction gate (DWFG) structure is proposed. The DWFG MOSFET has higher transconductance and lower drain conductance than conventional MOSFET. Thus analog circuit design using the DWFG MOSFET can improve circuit characteristics. Currently, device models of the DWFG MOSFET are insufficient, so simple series connected two MOSFET model is proposed. In addition, a two stage operational amplifier using the proposed DWFG MOSFET macro model is designed to verify the model.

A Study on the Development of Smart Water Grid Service (스마트 워터 그리드 서비스 Framework 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The current society, namely information society is now moving to a specific topic which is SMART. In this sense, recently a variety of social areas including communications and SOC domains are moving fast to this topic. In Korea, The electric power area has been doing a pioneering job relatively successfully and the water supply area is just now taking the first step. The purpose of this research is to develop a technical Framework for Smart Water Grid Service. Related researches has been studied and the 4 constituting technical element areas were defined first. For each of the four areas, a framework modeling was fulfilled and as a result, a TRM(Technical Road Map) was suggested for each of the area. Finally, an Enterprise TRM covering all of the 4 areas was described. Furthermore, the currently suggested Framework model was compared to a related model and it was found that the integration of the models is desirable to wholly cover from Macro to Micro level applications and services. It is expected that the current approach contribute, more or less, to the smart implementation in the areas of water management.

A Study of Friction in Microfoming Using Ring Compression Tests and Finite Element Analysis (링 압축시험과 유한요소해석을 이용한 미세성형 공정에서의 마찰특성에 관한 연구)

  • Microforming processes have recently attracted considerable attention from industry and academia since they enable the production of microscale parts using various materials at a high production rate, minimize material loss, and provide parts with excellent mechanical properties. However, for successful development and applications of the microforming process it is critical to take the tribological size effect into consideration because previous studies have shown that traditional friction models for macroscale forming generate significantly erroneous results in the case of microforming. In this paper, we performed scaled ring compression experiments to investigate the tribological size effect of aluminum and brass materials in microforming. The sensitivity of the interfacial friction to the deformation characteristics of the ring was quantitatively analyzed by the finite element analysis. In addition, a friction model based on slip line field and upper boundary techniques was used to theoretically explain the friction mechanism in microforming.

Reversible Watermarking based Video Contents Management and Control technique using Biological Organism Model (생물학적 유기체 모델을 이용한 가역 워터마킹 기반 비디오 콘텐츠 관리 및 제어 기법)

  • The infectious information hiding system(IIHS) is proposed for secure distribution of high quality video contents by applying optimized watermark embedding and detection algorithms to video codecs. And the watermark as infectious information is transmitted while target video is displayed or edited by codecs. This paper proposes a fast and effective reversible watermarking and infectious information generation for IIHS. Our reversible watermarking scheme enables video decoder to control video quality and watermark strength actively for by adding control code and expiration date with the watermark. Also, we designed our scheme with low computational complexity to satisfy it's real-time processing in a video codec, and to prevent time or frame delay during watermark detection and video restoration, we embedded one watermark and one side information within a macro-block. Experimental results verify that our scheme satisfy real-time watermark embedding and detection and watermark error is 0% after reversible watermark detection. Finally, we conform that the quality of restored video contens is almost same with compressed video without watermarking algorithm.

Variable Block-size Motion Estimation based on Merging Procedure (병합 방법에 의한 가변 블록 움직임 예측)

  • 본 논문에서는 가장 최근의 동영상 표준인 H.264에서 가변 블록 움직임 예측 시 인접한 블록과의 상관성을 분석하여 병합 절차를 추가함으로써 매크로블록의 최종 모드를 결정하는 시간을 줄이기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. H.264에서는 매크로블록의 모드를 결정하기 위하여 총 7가지 모드를 사용하여 움직임 예측은 실시함으로써 부호화 효율을 극대화시킨 반면 이러한 움직임 예측이 부호화기의 복잡도를 높이는 주요 요인으로 현재 커다란 단점으로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 $8{\times}8$ 움직임 예측이 끝난 후 인접한 두 블록 사이의 거리론 임계값(Threshold)과 비교하여 다음 모드의 움직임 예측의 실시 여부를 먼저 절정함으로써 필요한 움직임 예측에 소비되는 시간을 단축시켰다. 여기서 실험 조건으로 명시하고 있는 것은 대표적인 단일모드 중에서 수행 성능이 가장 좋은 $8{\times}8$ 모드를 기본모드로 사용하고 병합 시 $16{\times}16$ 모드 쪽으로 상향식(bottom-up) 방법의 병합을 수행해 나아간다 모의실험을 통해 수행 성능과 전체 부호화 시간 측면을 본 논문에서 제안한 방법과 4가지 모드인 $16{\times}16,\;16{\times}8,\;8{\times}16,\;8{\times}8$ 모드를 모두 사용한 경우, $8{\times}8$ 단일모드를 사용한 경우를 비교하였다. 실험 결과 $8{\times}8$ 단일모드보다 수행 성능이 향상되었으며, 시간 단축 면에서 제안한 방법이 4가지 모드인 $16{\times}16,\;16{\times}8,\;8{\times}16,\;8{\times}8$ 모드를 모두 사용한 경우와 $8{\times}8$ 단일모드를 사용한 경우보다 계산 시간이 감소하였음을 확인하였다.행중인 MoIM-Messge서버의 네트워크 모듈로 다중 쓰레드 소켓폴링 모델을 적용하였다.n rate compared with conventional face recognition algorithms. 아니라 실내에서도 발생하고 있었다. 정량한 8개 화합물 각각과 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 스피어만 상관계수는 벤젠을 제외하고는 모두 유의하였다. 이중 톨루엔과 크실렌은 총 휘발성 유기화합물과 좋은 상관성 (톨루엔 0.76, 크실렌, 0.87)을 나타내었다. 이 연구는 톨루엔과 크실렌이 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 좋은 지표를 사용될 있고, 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 크실렌 등 많은 휘발성 유기화합물의 발생원은 실외뿐 아니라 실내에도 있음을 나타내고 있다.>10)의 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 얻었다. 결론: $^{18}O(p,n)^{18}F$ 핵반응을 이용하여 친전자성 방사성동위원소 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 생산하였다. 표적 챔버는 알루미늄으로 제작하였으며 본 연구에서 연구된 $[^{18}F]F_2$가스는 친핵성 치환반응으로 방사성동위원소를 도입하기 어려운 다양한 방사성의 약품개발에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.었으나 움직임 보정 후 영상을 이용하여 비교한 경우, 결합능 변화가 선조체 영역에서 국한되어 나타나며 그 유의성이 움직임 보정 전에 비하여 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 뇌활성화 과제 수행시에 동반되는 피험자의 머리 움직임에 의하여 도파민 유리가 과대평가되었으며 이는 이 연구에서 제안한 영상정합을 이용한 움직임 보정기법에 의해서 개선되었다. 답이 없는 문제, 문제 만들기, 일반화가 가능한 문제 등으로 보고, 수학적 창의성 중 특히 확산적 사고에 초점을 맞추어 개방형 문제가 확산적 사고의 요소인 유창성, 독창성, 유연성 등에 각각 어떤 영향을 미치는지 20주의 프로그램을 개발, 진행하여 그 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 개방형 문

Natural Frequency Characteristics of GFRP Pole Structures for Civil Structures with Different Fiber-Volume Fraction (모재-섬유 함침 비율에 따른 건설용 GFRP 기둥구조의 고유진동 특성)

  • This study carried out finite element vibration analysis of pole structures made of GFRP, which is based on the micro-mechanical approach for different fiber-volume fractions. The finite element (FE) models for composite structures using multi-scale approaches described in this paper is attractive not only because it shows excellent accuracy in analysis but also it shows the effect of the material combination. The FE model is used for studying free vibrations of laminated composite poles for various fiber-volume fractions. In particular, new results reported in this paper are focused on the significant effects of the fiber-volume fraction for various parameters, such as fiber angles, layup sequences, and length-thickness ratios. It may be concluded from this study that the combination effect of fiber and matrix, largely governing the dynamic characteristics of composite structures, should not be neglected and thus the optimal combination could be used to design such civil structures for better dynamic performance.

  • A 3D-ray tracing tool is a software considering reflection, penetration, and diffraction of the signals to provide accuracy. To provide communication resources effectively, communication standards adopt Heterogeneous Networks (HetNets) that includes small cells. A 3D performance evaluation methodology becomes more and more important since the coverage of the small cell networks is narrower than that of the macro cell networks. It is difficult to directly apply conventional 2D mathematical models due to the complexity of small cell network; since they have many considerations such as topography, placement of buildings and 3D beamforming techniques. In this paper, we introduce an effective performance evaluation methodology for small cell networks using 3D-ray tracing tool. From simulation results, we conclude that new performance evaluation methodologies by using 3D-ray tracing tool is more suitable than conventional methodology for small cell networks.

Macro-model for Estimation of Maximum Power Dissipation of CMOS Digital Gates (CMOS 디지털 게이트의 최대소모전력 예측 매크로 모델)

  • As the integration ratio and operation speed increase, it has become an important problem to estimate the dissipated power during the design procedure as a method to reduce the TTM(time to market). This paper proposed a prediction model to estimate the maximum dissipated power of a CMOS logic gate. This model uses a calculational method. It was formed by including the characteristics of MOSFETs of which a CMOS gate consists, the operational characteristics of the gate, and the characteristics of the input signals. As the modeling process, a maximum power estimation model for CMOS inverter was formed first, and then a conversion model to convert a multiple input CMOS gate into a corresponding CMOS inverter was proposed. Finally, the power model for inverter was applied to the converted result so that the model could be applied to a general CMOS gate. For experiment, several CMOS gates were designed in layout level by $0.6{\mu}m$ layout design rule. The result by comparing the calculated results with those from HSPICE simulations for the gates showed that the gate conversion model has within 5% of the relative error rate to the SPICE and the maximum power estimation model has within 10% of the relative error rate. Thus, the proposed models have sufficient accuracies. Also in calculation time, the proposed models was more than 30 times faster than SPICE simulation. Consequently, it can be said that the proposed model could be used efficiently to estimate the maximum dissipated power of a CMOS logic gate during the design procedure.

The Architecture of the Frame Memory in MPEG-2 Video Encoder (MPEG-2 비디오 인코더의 프레임 메모리 구조)

  • This paper presents an efficient hardware architecture of frame memory interface in MPEG-2 video encoder. To reduce the size of memory buffers between SDRAM and the frame memory module, the number of clocks needed for each memory access is minimized with dual bank operation and burst length change. By allocating the remaining cycles not used by SDRAM access, to the random access cycle, the internal buffer size, the data bus width, and the size of the control logic can be minimized. The proposed architecture is operated with 54MHz clock and designed with the VT $I^{тм}$ 0.5 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS TLM standard cell library. It is verified by comparing the test vectors generated by the c-code model with the simulation results of the synthesized circuit. The buffer area of the proposed architecture is reduced to 40 % of the existing architecture.
