Effects of the Work Satisfaction and Quality of Life of the Middle-aged Workers on Retirement Preparation (중년층 직장인의 직무만족과 삶의 질이 은퇴준비에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among the work satisfaction and quality of life with retirement preparation of middle-aged workers. Data from 283 subjects were collected and analyzed. The findings are as follows. First, people with higher quality of life tend to care more on health planning. Second, financial planning has nothing to do with quality of life, whereas self-respect has a positive effect on all the other indicators for retirement preparations except financial planning. Third, retirement preparations has not been affected by work satisfaction. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were suggested.

  • As the Korean rental car industry turned into a mature stage, the competition level has become stronger than ever. In 2006, AJ Rent a Car declared customer satisfaction management as its vision to make a breakthrough. Through various service innovation efforts, AJ has been successfully offering meaningful and differentiated values to the customers. As results, the complaints rate has decreased, while service quality index has significantly increased. These service quality indicators have led to improved customer satisfaction level which was measured by re-purchase intention and customer satisfaction index, and AJ outran its major competitors in these dimensions of competition. The first key success factor of AJ is its effective service system. AJ manages the VOC, ERP, and CRM system in a well organized manner. AJ's another key success factor is a effective service process, which helps the organization share and respond to customer complaints in an efficient way. Finally, the management communicates the clear vision and strategic direction not only with the customers but also with the entire organization. With these three factors combined, AJ has created the service oriented corporate culture. Based on the culture. AJ has been able to develop a strong and sustainable competitive advantage in customer satisfaction management.

Evaluation of Oral Health Promotion Program Connected with Hypertension and Diabetes Management Programs: Use of a Logical Model (일부 보건소 고혈압·당뇨관리교실 연계 구강건강증진 프로그램 운영 및 평가: 논리적 모형을 이용하여)

  • This study aimed to design and operate a complementary integrated health management program based on the connection between the hypertension and diabetes management programs and the oral health programs at a public health center. It also proposed to suggest the phased evaluation indicators. In this study, 48 adults registered in the hypertension and diabetes management program were selected from the Gangneung public health center. The clinic-specific programs were led by dental hygienists and operated for visitors twice every two weeks. The programs were designed based on the logical model, and indicators for evaluating the structure, process, and outcome were presented and applied to the input, process, output, and outcome. The evaluation indices consisted of quantitative and qualitative indicators, and the planning and operation, goal achievement, and effect of each program were assessed. The process evaluations were assessed by the appropriateness of the managers and the operating fidelity of the programs. Indicators for evaluating the outcomes were gingival bleeding, oral health knowledge, oral health awareness, and the satisfaction of the participant and the manager. The clinic-specific programs resulted in positive changes in the evaluated outcomes. The integrated health management of visitors to the hypertension and diabetes management program is important as the general and oral health has common risk factors. Furthermore, long-term operation and continuous monitoring of oral health programs are necessary to evaluate the common factors in chronic disease management.

  • 지표점의 추출은 DTM 생성을 위한 가장 중요한 과정이다 기존의 추출 방법은 대부분 점기반방법으로 분류될 수 있다. 점기반방법은 모든 점을 개별적으로 각각의 점이 지표를 구성하는지를 시험한다. 이 때 시험의 회수는 점의 개수와 동일하기 때문에, 특히 다량의 점을 포함한 데이터를 처리하려면 시험과 관련되어 심각한 계산량이 유발되어 시험에 보다 정교한 기준과 전략을 사용하는데 어려움이 있었다. 이로 인해 많은 연구에도 불구하고 아직 만족할만한 결과를 제공하는 방법이 개발되지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구는 시험하는 개체의 수를 줄이면서 보다 안정적인 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 점이 아닌 피쳐에 기반한 방법을 제안한다. 여기서, 피쳐란 점을 그룹핑하여 얻을 수 있는 개체를 의미한다. 제안된 방법은 먼저 점들로부터 표면패치들을 생성하고, 이어서 표면패치들로부터 표면집단들을 구성한다. 표면집단들로부터 지표를 구성하는 표면집단을 식별한 후 식별된 표면집단에 포함된 모든 점들을 지표점으로 명시한다. 제안된 방법을 항공라이다 실측데이터에 적용하여 제안된 방법의 뛰어난 성능을 실험적으로 증명하였다.

  • Theoretical review of the PR activities was initiated using Lasswell's (1948) SMCRE model to evaluate the indicators of the collaborative programs with NGO and the outcome of the activities promoting energy-saving programs. The indicators were then set based on a case study by Nho Younhwoo (2012). This paper aims to develop evaluation indicators for the activities promoting energy-saving programs and evaluate how energy consumers recognize the reputations of PR agencies (sender), PR content (message), PR media outlets (channel), and the degree to which such PR activities induce energy-saving behaviors.

  • The paper is aimed at evaluation method for technology-focused professional ESCO. We set up some premise about the evaluation indicators, there are such as the financial soundness, energy savings performance excellence, customer satisfaction, source technology vendor's participation, and guaranteed savings contract. The evaluation indicators consist of the evaluation of expertise (40points), management state (15points), customer satisfaction (20points), technical skills (25points), and detailed indicators were determined. We can apply technology categories such as lighting, cogeneration, process improvement, waste heat recovery, cooling & heating equipments.

  • This paper intends to set up a standard sets of indicators based on system-orientor framework, in assuming urban place as a self-organizing system within which several subsystems are interlinked together. Also, The application guideline composed of normative-analytical-practical dimensions, is proposed how to put into practice a standard set of indicators according to the regional characteristics. In practice, Seongnam in Gyeonggi Province in Korea and St. Paul in Minnesota in US are selected for case studies in order to measure and evaluate urban sustainability. Both data availability for measured variables and establishment of minimum level and satisfactory level of sustainability are requested for furthermore researches.

Batting index prediction model 2017 (2017년 한국프로야구 타자력 예측모형 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose batting index prediction models of 2017. Due to the insufficiency of KBO pitchers data, batting index prediction models of 2016 has been developed based on elected eight batting index collecting the past three years data of MLB and KBO. It has been found that this prediction model fits well to both MLB and KBO, and the KBO model fits better than MLB in some cases. Using these prediction models, we analyzed and compared 2016's estimated values for the batting index of MLB and KBO. With the relation results between batting index prediction and batter's age for MLB and KBO, it can be determined that there is no relationship between the significant batting index and ages.

  • The basis of public libraries as a service organization dependes on the customer's needs and expectation. Recently, public libraries have faced an existence crisis attacked from the development of Internet and the various cultural programs of other organizations. Thus, public libraries required continuos effort in order to get the existence necessity from community and customers. This paper investigates and compares with the public Service Charter provided a customer oriented public service, public library evaluation indexes by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism Gyeonggi Province, and a public satisfaction survey by Seoul Metropolitan. Thus this paper can provide the basis materials fur future public library evaluation.

Study on Performance Evaluation of Academic Information Distribution Project in Scientific Technology Field (과학기술분야 학술정보 유통사업 성과평가에 관한 연구)

  • As country try expand R&D investment and enhance its efficiency to improve the national competitiveness, research is needed to conduct qualitative enhancement and derive progressive future strategy in relation to the academic information distribution project in scientific technology field. In this study, BSC-based performance indicators were applied to an institute that is the representative of domestic academic information distribution institutes in the field of scientific technology to evaluate project performance, and then to analyze portfolio of using such evaluation results. As for the items of evaluation for the performance indicators of academic information distribution project in the scientific technology field, 12 items that includes information resource quality, information service quality, user satisfaction and economically useful value of academic information from four(4) viewpoints such as information resource, information service, user and economic viewpoints. In the portfolio analysis, it was conducted by performance indicators and by elements of the individual performance indicators as well. Based on the results of performance evaluation and portfolio analysis, the improvement method by viewpoints on academic information distribution project of an institute was suggested.
