  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a 1hp class two-phase type BLDC fan motor used in an air conditioning system. The BLDC motor, which is implemented in this study, is not a commutator motor type with excellent lifetime and durability and is driven by two phase power source. The most important target specification of a motor used in an air conditioning system is that it has a high efficiency at the rated operating point. For this purpose, we designed the stator shape of the BLDC motor, the design of the rotor magnet, and the control circuit for driving. The BLDC motor has a structure where the motor part, the control part, and the power part are integrated. The finite element analysis was used to calculate the characteristics of the BLDC motors, and the conformity of the design results was confirmed by fabricating and testing the prototype model.

  • 국내에서 대부분 생산되는 사료(사일리지) 수확 작업은 베일 생산 및 비닐 래핑 작업이 독립적으로 수행되고 있어서 비효율적이다. 본 연구에서 개발한 조사료 수확기는 수집, 롤링, 베일 네트 생성, 래핑, 래핑 종료 및 베일 방출작업을 통합적으로 수행하도록 설계-제작하였다. 통합형 다목적 조사료수확기의 설계는 3D 디자인 툴 (CATIA V5R18)을 이용하여 실시하였으며, 기구부 23 파트 어셈블리, 전기제어 어셈블리, 유압요소기술을 통합하여 통합시작기를 제작하였다. 기초 프레임, 오거장치파트, 픽업장치파트, 하부롤러파트, 상부롤러파트, 하부 프레임 및 주행부 파트, 래핑회전파트, 롤러부 구동 동력부, 유압파트, 전기제어파트, 드로우바파트, 체결 및 컨트롤러 파트 등 25개 파트로 구성되어 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 시작기의 견인력 및 소요동력 분석은 선행 연구에서 사용한 Brixius (1987) 제안 모델을 체택하여 분석하였다. 이 Brixius 제안 모델은 견인력 예측에서 토양변수 및 토양강도 특성을 나타내는 원추지수 (Cone Index, CI)를 이용하여 트랙터의 견인력 예측에 사용하였다. 또한 트랙터-조사료수확기 시스템의 소요 견인력을 예측하는데 있어, 트랙터-조사료수확기 시스템이 운용되는 토양조건과 트랙터의 마력에 따른 소요 견인력 특성을 분석하기 위해 대표적으로 3수준의 토양조건 (CI: 356 kPa, 543 kPa, 1,429 kPa)을 적용하였으며, 베일의 개당 최대무게는 최고 수준인 옥수수 기준으로 800 kgf를 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 적용된 3수준의 CI 조건은 연구팀에서 선행연구과정 (토양특성에 따른 최적 경운작업 시스템 개발, 2006)에서 분석한 전국 10개 지역의 33개 지점의 경반층 CI지수의 측정범위인 1,050-3,170 kPa에 대해 견인력이 많이 소요되는 열악한 조건 수준을 적용하였다. 각 작업에 사용된 소요동력은 베일 작업시 (ASABE D497.7, 2011) 그리고 래핑작업시 (Zhortuylov et al., 2013)를 사용하였으며 두 소요마력을 트랙터-조사료 수확기 시스템의 필요 소요마력의 합계로 계산하였다. 트랙터-조사료수확기 시스템의 최소 소요 동력, 차축 소요 동력과 PTO 소요 동력을 Zoz and Grisso (2003)을 이용하여 계산하였다. 연구에서는 기본적으로 ASAE의 작업속도 및 작업효율을 적용하였는데, 적용된 조사료수확기의 현장 작업효율은 60-86%의 범위이고 일반적으로 70%를 적용하고 이때 작업속도는 2.5-8.0 km/h이며 전형적으로 5.0 km/h를 기준하고 있다. 자주식 (SP; sief-propelled machine) 조사료수확기의 경우 작업속도가 2.5-10.0 km/h의 범위에서 작업효율은 60-85% 범위이다. 적용되는 조사료 수확기의 작업효율인 60-85% 범위에서 일반적으로 적용되는 작업효율인 70%를 적용하면 트랙터의 소요동력은 95hp를 적정 작업환경으로 하였다.

  • In this paper, the power factor correction circuit using a parallel drive method is proposed so that the high power inverter air-conditioner with 3[hp] compressor motor may obtain the cost down and the improved performance. The adequate design porcedures are presented to reduce the material costs by eliminating the power factor imprving LC filter and derating output capacitor and inverter switches. Using the determined components. the proto-type circuit with 6[kW] power consumption is built and tested to verify the operation of the proposed circuit.

  • In this paper, we developed DSP(Digital Signal Processor)-based control system to automatically open and close passive filter, which is used to reduce harmonics, according to operating condition of loads. Passive filter control system automatically open and close each branch of filter according to working conditions of loads by sending signals to open and close installation of passive filter after measuring and monitoring voltage, current, harmonics, reactive power, power factor and so on. We verified it's performance by connecting control system with passive filter in the power line using the 100HP D.C motor drive, opening and closing passive filter according to operation condition of motor, and measuring harmonics and reactive power, etc.

  • This paper presents a comparison of different current controller response characteristics of SRM. The most common current controllers of the SRM is hysteresis type. The hysteresis controller is easy to implement and fast current control response, but has the inherent disadvantage of switching frequency variations. The other common type of current controller is PI scheme. The design of a classical PI current controller with fixed parameters for SRM is not an easy task due to the extreme nonlinear characteristics. In this paper, some linearization technique is used for design of PI current controller. Experimental results of 1-hp SRM are presented for the basic reference data which can be used to select the proper current control scheme according to the applications.

  • In this paper, a nonlinear controller based on adaptive back-stepping method is proposed for high performance operation of IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor). First, in order to improve the performance of speed tracking a nonlinear back-stepping controller is designed. Since it is difficult to control the high performance driving without considering parameter variation, a parameter estimator is included to adapt to the variation of load torque in real time. In addition, for the efficiency of power consumption of the motor, controller is designed to operate motor with minimum current for maximum torque. The proposed controller is applied through simulation to the a 2-hp IPMSM for the angular velocity reference tracking performance and load torque volatility estimation, and to test the MTPA(Maximum Torque per Ampere) operation in constant torque operation region. The result verifies the efficacy of the proposed controller.

  • This paper presents a position sensorless control system of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using neural network. The control of SRM depends on the commutation of the stator phases in synchronism with the rotor position. The position sensing requirement increases the overall cost and complexity. In this paper, the current-flux-rotor position lookup table based position sensorless operation of SRM is presented. Neural network is used to construct the current-flux-rotor position lookup table, and is trained by sufficient experimental data. Experimental results for a 1-hp SRM is presented for the verification of the proposed sensorless algorithm.

  • This paper itltroduces a simple stair-case PWM using the pseudo-sinusoidal method. In a configuration of controller, the value of sine as a fundamental factor divided into stair-case level and the three-phase PWM inverter is composed by digital compound for each value of stair-case level. The three-phase output pulse at a fixed carrier frequency and a variable reference frequency is obtained under the effect of reduced harmonics. In this experiment, using the power FET as the switching device, 0.5 H.P. induction motor operation is performed when the switching frequency is 20KHz.

  • Multi-copter of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was initially developed as strategic technology in the only military field, but it is developing into an industrial field with a wide range of applications in the civil sector based on the development and convergence of aviation technology and information and communication technology. Currently, the degree of utilization of multi-copter is increasing in various industries for the purpose of performing classic tactical missions, logistics transportation, farm management, internet supply, video filming, weather management, life-saving, etc, and active technology development responding to market demand. Existing commercial multi-copter mainly use an electric energy propulsion system consisting of an electric battery and a brushless direct current (BLDC) motor. It is the limitations for usage in the flying time (up to 20 minutes) and payload (less than 20 kg). this study aims to overcome these limitations and expand the commercialization of engine-powered multi-copter of UAV in various industries in the futures.

  • This thesis is about the study of inverter terminal boxes in a explosion proof type exhaust fan that can control wind volume and operating time. In Korea, there is no ventilator to adjust the amount of wind and operating time when working in poor conditions. The purpose of the project is to create a explosion terminal box that can control the operating time and wind speed of a suitable explosion ventilator in hazardous environments. The two explosion-proof switches allow the operation time to be driven 1 hour, 3 hours and continuous time, and the speed of the induction motor rotation was set in 3 stages at 2000 rpm, 2600 rpm and 3000 rpm to control the volume. The tested motor used a half-horsepower barrier three-phase induction motor and a full-bridge inverter to set the desired flow rate and operating time.
